Aunty Bunny's Hut

Central, Worthing
14/02/2021: Have now had takeway from Aunt Bunny's on three occasions and it has been consistently good and absolutely mouthwatering. The jerk chicken burrito is amazing, would highly recommend. The portions are generous and as I sat in Littlehampton eating my burrito last night, it dawned on me how satisfyingly stuffed I was! Once all this Covid madness is over, I look forward to checking out the eating-in experience.
04/02/2021: Fabulous, lovely people, delicious food, what a treat!

Fullaloves Wines

Derby and Thornley, Ribble Valley
15/11/2020: Great little wine/tapas bar. Very friendly and intimate, with some lovely and different wines, to drink in or take away. Would definitely recommend.
06/11/2020: This is one of our favourite places in Longridge, a fantastic local wine bar that also serves great good. Ben and Andrea are welcoming and friendly owners who know their stuff, knowledgeable, as is Sophie the manager! Amazing selection of wine, we've not had a wine from here that we haven't thoroughly enjoyed! Strongly recommend 👍

Ole Ole Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Minster, Lincoln, 20-30£
14/02/2021: Wanted something different than the usual takeaways for valentine's, saw ole old offered takeaway valentine's Day menu, booked for the next day and the food was waiting for me when I arrived. Some of the nicest tapas I've had, will definitely be coming back and visiting the restaurant when its open!
04/02/2021: You can call up to order to speak to a friendly voice or order on the very easy to use website! The food was ready bang on time, we had a 15-20 minute drive home and the food was still piping hot! The team were super friendly and efficient when we arrived and the food was excellent (I ordered extra chicken croquettes because I knew the family would love them just as much as I do - I wasn’t wrong!!)Well done team Ole Ole keep up the great work - we can’t wait to be able to come and dine in.

Tres Angelos

Phippsville, Northampton
25/12/2020: They serve large dishes and for fair prices. very kind owner. Keep up the good work.
13/12/2020: Amazing food exceptional quality, good pricing and exceptional service from polite and efficient staff. Good manners and the staff and owner couldn’t do enough. We loved the warm cheese and steak and mushrooms. We also loved the meatballs and chicken and chiriso. Thanks once again.

Pedros Kendal

Kendal Fell, South Lakeland, <20£
17/02/2021: Treated ourselves to a takeaway from here at the weekend- amazing food will definitely be having again
31/12/2020: We were lucky enough to get a table the night before New Year’s Eve (and tier 4) and had a lovely evening at Pedros! We had never been before and we couldn’t fault any of the food or the service! All of the staff were friendly, attentive and couldn’t do enough to help. We had a table full of food and sampled a range of cocktails, which were all delicious and great value for money. We can’t wait to go back and sample more of the menu.

Marco's Spanish Tapas Bar

Whitehouse, Rochford, 20-30£
20/02/2021: Have visited Marcos for years and always loved it. It’s my husband 50th and he wanted Marcos for his special takeaway dinner (as we still can’t go out due to lockdown). Well it was as I expected. Absolutely delicious. The only thing missing was being in Marcos with the lovely staff and great atmosphere. Can’t wait when it is open and we can visit again.
16/01/2021: Had an excellent takeaway last night. We wanted to support local restaurants during this lockdown and we love the food here so thought we’d try takeaway. Food was lovely and hot when it arrived. Delivery for the time we agreed and no contact. We had some garlic mushrooms and Saffron potatoes left over so had them for lunch the next day. A good quality takeaway if you want to support restaurants during lockdown and looking for something different to the usual Indian, Chinese or pizza. Will Order again.

Casa Naranjo

Quarry and Coton Hill, Shropshire, 20-30£
09/03/2021: My trip was nice. Food was tasty, and atmosphere was enjoyable. There is little space and as we went as a group of 6 it was a little crowded, I hope that they can expand as this could be an amazing restaurant I would go to often! Food took some time to come out but it was a very busy evening. Location is central town, but hidden down an ally way so I’m glad one of our party knew where it was as I wouldn’t have found it. Staff were friendly and price was very reasonable for what we got! We will be returning. This is probably the best tapas bar I’ve been to in Shrewsbury. The chairs could be slightly more comfy!
30/12/2020: Gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere - such an enjoyable experience and will definitely come again! We had the fiesta menu and there was so much lovely food. Thankyou for a wonderful meal!

The Tapas Bar

The Ferry, Dundee City, <20£
18/02/2021: This was our second visit to this lovely restaurant, the food once again did not disappoint and the service was top notch.
05/11/2020: Was here last week and was amazed by the good service staff and food would definitely recommend and come back.

Casa Lola

Harestone, Tandridge
14/02/2021: I have eaten at case love before, but I had not tried the take away service. It's a bit dearer but the portions are much larger. The quality of all the dishes I ordered were 1st class. We did over order so we will be having meatballs for lunch tomorrow, really looking forward to it. It was a great change to have good quality food.
29/01/2021: Decided to order a collection as we were missing the flavours and smells of good Traditional Spanish Restaurants in Spain. The web process is very simple and its clear that thought has been given to what travels and those that don't. Booked a time slot for collection and duly turned up to collect. Helpful staff, totally Covid safe collected our food and delivered to the counter. No plastic bags here just good sturdy paper bags with the Casa Lola logo on them. Appears that considerable thought given to packaging that can be recycled and keep the food warm. We ordered prawns in garlic, Galician octopus, Spanish sausage, patata alioli and a couple of Paella. All the food tasted good and quite authentic and was more than plenty for a family of 4 with some for the following day. My only observation is that the paella could have have had more depth of flavour. In Spain many places ask you to order 24 hours in advance. Casa Lola deserves to do well and we will return in the near future.

Casa Mia Restaurant and Cocktail Bar

St. Martins, Caerphilly

Portchester East, Fareham
22/12/2020: We thought we would lift our spirits and go out tonight . Delighted we chose Antonio’s , great welcome and atmosphere. The food was to die for freshly cooked and our daughter was catered for who’s vegan . We had let them know when booking and they had made a vegan apple tart - delicious . They also made a vegan paella.I had squid and croquettes followed by the bigger sea bream ever with fresh veg . Washed down with an amazing Cava .Will definitely return
05/12/2020: So we felt really safe and well looked after . As always the food was absolutely delicious . Glad to be able to have an evening out also supporting a local business.

The Little Taperia

Graveney, Wandsworth
24/03/2021: This is no question the best takeaway we've had from anywhere through lockdown. The food is always delicious in the restaurant, but to achieve the same quality (and temperature - none of it was cold which unusual in my experience with Deliveroo!) for a takeaway is remarkable. Absolutely delicious treat.
18/11/2020: We ordered online from the website and collected 30 minutes later. Very tasty croquetas, pulpo and pimientos del Padron. Will be ordering again very soon!

Yorkshire Tapas

Low Harrogate, Harrogate
29/10/2020: The best meal we had during our stay in Harrogate! Every single dish we had was sensational and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. A really relaxed vibe with some fabulous live music and even better food. The pork belly was sensational, we haven’t stopped talking about it since and we have told all our family and friends if they’re in Harrogate they need to visit. Thanks for making my birthday meal one to remember!
22/10/2020: Booked for Wednesday lunchtime. Arrived and walked upstairs as this is where I understood the restaurant to be, to be greeted by an empty room of tables and no staff. Not really the welcome you would expect, so walked out and went to a chain restaurant around the corner, also offering a tapas menu at a cheaper price, with a warm welcome included. Hard to support independent businesses in difficult times when that’s the service you’re offered.

Salt House Tapas

Central, Liverpool, <20£
03/02/2021: Visited Salt House before the 3rd national lockdown descended and what a great time my twin brother Stephen and I had.A beautiful interior, exquisite decor and furnishings including a superb looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping streets around the restaurant all housed in one of the most beautiful buildings in Liverpool .We were here on a Saturday evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff and after giving our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitising our hands we were allocated a table were we ordered a beer while we checked the menu out .Beers were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and for our meals we opted for a selection of tapa, tapa was beautifully presented and varied and absolutely delicious, service was spot on,the young lady who served us was pleasant, attentive and humorous, we couldn't fault anything about our visit, had a great time before we moved on. Salt House is easy to locate along Hanover Street. Untill the present lockdown is lifted in mid February probably March I eagerly look forward to visiting here again.
29/12/2020: Salt House was a great choice with the combination of an exquisite food experience as well as the service. We were looked after by a very nice and very professional young lady named Raquel. She enhanced our dining experience.

Riverside, Liverpool
19/03/2021: Before the 3rd national lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, while heading down Hanover Street to The Empire Pub we decided to drop into Lunya and what a great time we had.I love the look of this restaurant, a wonderful evocative Spanish interior ,great decor and furnishings, lots of little decorative features to keep you interested, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Hanover Street. We were here on a Wednesday night, greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands ,we were allocated a table were we ordered a flat white coffee each, coffee was served steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great restaurant we were in.From the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve, it was just so good being in such a lovely establishment enjoying a quality coffee and relaxing.I've been to Lunya on several occasions, always had a great time ,be it for a meal, beers or just a quick coffee the service is always good.We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Prime Minister Boris laid out the roadmap out of the pandemic with pubs being allowed to reopen on the 12th of April with outside service only and from the 17th of May inside and outside service allowed and by June 21st more or less back to normality so I eagerly look forward to visiting Lunya hopefully in April. Lunya is easy to locate along Hanover Street. Opening hours are;Monday to Sunday, Open from 10am. A wonderful restaurant, most definitely well worth checking out when the 3rd and final lockdown is lifted.
19/02/2021: I ordered the Tapas Banquet as a surprise for my partners birthday and we absolutely loved it. Ordering and delivery went smoothly. Food was excellent and we really enjoyed watching the video and then preparing all the dishes. We’re looking at the other events on offer and can’t wait for our next visit to Liverpool.
