Casa Naranjo

Quarry and Coton Hill, Shropshire, 20-30£
16/12/2018: Visited as a group of six for dinner. Staff very friendly and helpful - always on hand if we wanted anything. The normal menu had a very good selection and, as it was the festive season, there were extra set menus as well. There was also a big wine list. The food was delicious and we found 3 dishes of tapas each was more than enough along with bread and olives. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
12/12/2018: Casa Naranjo is a little part of real Spain transported to Shropshire. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food and wine are superb

Bar San Juan

Chorlton, Manchester, >100£
15/12/2018: Came here for a meal with my boyfriend at 7pm on a Saturday. It was a lovely atmosphere so we were more than happy to sit and drink there as we waited to be seated. Got 8 dishes which was more than enough and each one was absolutely exceptional. They gave us 2 complimentary drinks and dessert as they had asked to move us to a different table because a walk in of 7 had come in and could only be seated where we were sat, which was no hassle for us at all. The bill only came to 65 pounds with 2 pints each. Cannot recommend enough. My new favourite place to eat in Manchester!
14/12/2018: We love coming to bar San Juan and are regulars for just drinks (a fanatic range of draft beers and wines in generous portions), but we also love the tapas from time to time. At our last visit where we decided to have lunch we noticed that the menu had been changed a little. Staple favorites like the sobrasada with quails eggs, pardon peppers and beautiful ham and cheese croquette are still there and they were very much enjoyed. However the beautiful, gooey tortilla is no longer available! San Juan, we love your food (and drinks) and we will continue to be loyal customers; but please bring back the tortilla!!

Arboretum, Derby, 20-30£
30/11/2018: Eaten here a few times, but this was the first time we’d been since the new extension opened.
24/11/2018: The food was so delicious and filling, we don’t have Spanish food often so it was nice to experience it done well. The atmosphere of the place was lively, friendly and welcoming (we were sat in their back room) and the service was good. I definitely recommend.

Tasca Dali

Warwick West, Warwick, 30-45£
13/12/2018: Passing thru Warwick unexpectedly this looked attractive so we called, reached Alex and asked if he could fit the 2 of us in for dinner. Unsure, but called us back as agreed within 10 minutes and said he could fit us in if we made it for 6:30.
11/12/2018: I went onto the bible (TA) and found Tasca Dali. The reviews looked fab so thought would give it a try. Emailed Alex (the boss) and had a very speedy response saying they were fully booked for the time I wanted, but could get us in earlier. We went for the earlier booking.

Ole Ole Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Minster, Lincoln, 20-30£
03/12/2018: We shared bread & olives to start then a selection of tapas. Dates & bacon went down well, a single portion of paella was a very welcome plate, the aubergine dish was gorgeous & the anchovies delicioso, patatas completed our selection. Alas eyes too big we could not finish all.
03/12/2018: Our first visit to the Ole Ole Tapas Restaurant was a great dining experience & most enjoyable evening.

Twist at Crawford

2 offers
Bryanston and Dorset Square, City of London,Westminster
02/12/2018: We visited Twist Kitchen last night as part of my birthday celebrations having searched for a well rated tapas restaurant close by to where we were staying.

The Oak Room

Lynton and Lynmouth, North Devon
05/12/2018: I have eaten here a number of times and the food is good although it is easy to run up a big bill.
08/11/2018: We went for dinner and chose the tapas. A great selection of very tasty food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our meal.

Chester City, Cheshire West and Chester
15/11/2018: We had been to Porta at Altrincham and now as Chester residents we had to give this a run. first class, one of the specials was a chorizo tortilla which was superb and the seared iberico pork was as good as it gets. Staff are lovely and service is good. Wine is OK and not a bad price. I only have one issue, can I suggest they find a bread supplier as good as the one at Altrincham (I think its Trove) There is no competition the bread at Chester was the only sad part of the meal.
07/11/2018: We arrived to find only a couple of tables free. Porta is very small but has a lovely buzzy atmosphere and delicious smells. The chef’s station is at the front of the premises and the staff are constantly passing by with a delicious array of food to take to their customers. Staff were attentive and service was swift. We ordered the house wine which comes in a carafe. It was reasonably priced and suited the food very well.

Cotham, Bristol, City of, 30-45£
12/11/2018: Nestled on Cotham Hill, this tapas restaurant sees no need to scream about its presence; its reputation does this for it. Friendly, cosy, sublime food and wine, make sure you book well in advance.
08/11/2018: Great ambience however, the whole idea of 'tapas' well anglicised by high pricing. Too many different waiters/severs (though all polite and courteous) over a 3 hour mid-afternoon luncheon. Food okay. A once a year special occasion at best!

Casa Lola

Harestone, Tandridge
13/12/2018: Came here for my nieces birthday and everything was bland in taste no flavours to anything. I wasnt the o ly who thought that wither as we was around a table.of 30. The tapas in purley was definitely better.
13/12/2018: Once again CASALOLA ! XMAS in style , very festive atmosphere, Great food and service . All I want for Xmas is you ! casa .

Walled City Brewery

Ebrington, Derry
17/11/2018: When in Derry make sure that you visit the Walled City Brewery. Wonderful food created by a passionate chef white enthusiastic staff. Chefs special ragu 5*
11/11/2018: Stayed in derry for a night and had dinner at the brewery. The food is really good. Each dish is oozing flavour. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. A big variety of beers and cocktails to sample. We really enjoyed the food and experience. Thanks.

Pulpo Negro

The Alresfords, Winchester
11/12/2018: Had a delicious lunch recently with friends at this little gem of a restaurant. I would go as far as saying the tapas was tastier than the food I had in Seville earlier in the year! Who knew carrots could have so much flavour! Staff were very friendly too. Looking forward to returning.
02/12/2018: Stayed in Arlesford with friends so we could go to this restaurant for her birthday. Service was superb - all the ladies hosting the tables were great fun but also highly professional and knowledgeable. The chefs really know what they are doing. Fab octopus, pinchos, steak, gambas, and an innovative special using lentils and tiny meat balls with loads of fresh herbs. All the ingredients are high quality. The inside is warm and welcoming with clever candle lighting. They remembered champagne on arrival and baked a yummy Black Forest cake for my wife’s birthday. Michelin listing is highly deserved. Can’t wait to go again. Well done all.

Bar 44 Cardiff

Cathays, Cardiff
14/11/2018: came up for the Rugby and went with friends on Friday evening absolutely delicious this is tapas as its supposed to be, authentic dishes that keep you wanting more very friendly staff definitely coming back when in Cardiff again
13/11/2018: You may be surprised how difficult it is to find a good restaurant and one that's open on a Sunday afternoon in central Cardiff, believe me it is. Bar 44 obliged, was busy but not heaving, nice atmosphere. Not having a huge appetite, tapas is for me, a wide selection of 'smaller plates' the food was absolutely excellent and for us the real tapas experience has to be the partaking of proper sherry - as indeed was delivered, somewhat gluttonously (three large glasses each) but was superb quality and the perfect accompaniment to the food. Nice table for two in corner, cosy but not dark and very attentive courteous table service. The loos were immaculate and the whole place exuded quality atmosphere. Highly recommended. And, considering how much sherry we guzzled I thought the bill was very reasonable!

El Pic Spanish Tapas Bar

Town, Surrey Heath, 20-30£
11/12/2018: Early December and it was a cold drizzly Thursday evening but it was relatively easy to find parking on the road adjacent to the A30. Cozy little place, one feels at ease in immediately. Some of the dishes were lovely - those mushrooms were just divine - others were average. The service was good, the toilets were clean - what more could you want?
02/12/2018: Another great evening at El Pic, excellent food and vibrant atmosphere, great variety of authentic Spanish tapas, our favourite restaurant.

Narberth, Pembrokeshire
07/12/2018: Thoroughly enjoy a visit to Ultracomida. Lunch was really good with very reasonably priced wine. Bought loads in the deli afterwards, well worth a visit
29/11/2018: Tasty well priced food with pleasant service. A real surprise to find this slightly hidden gem in Narbeth. The shop at the front looked wonderful, especially the cheeses.
