17/02/2020: Mi novia me regalo esta cena para Navidad ya que sabe que mi restaurante favorito es arzak, nos encanta la comida y los dos somos managers de restauración.
16/02/2020: Ametsa es uno de esos lugares que pide una ocasión especial: cuando quieres impresionar a alguien. Mi elección fue la noche de San Valentín y no podría haber tomado una mejor decisión.

16/02/2020: Excellent food and service, and genuinely unusual which was great as so much claims to be so but is actually pretty standard fare.
I'd just recommend that you book early and specify a table at the back, much nicer place to sit.
13/02/2020: A relatively small but tastefully laid out restaurant with table or bar seats and a great view of the cooking. Some excellent dishes, almost anything with prawns and the octopus was fresh and soft. As a larger course the squid in black ink almost can’t be beaten. Hard to go through the whole variety of dishes on offer but we didn’t have one that failed. A range of Spanish wines at Seymour Place prices so you have been warned. Great staff and an excellent atmosphere. Good for a main meal or just for some wine and a few dishes. One of the better tapas restaurants around.

09/03/2020: We stumbled across Pix, but we were so glad to have spent our evening there! Such a cute intimate atmosphere, but what really made it was the staff. Scott deserves a particular shout out for being so warm and friendly with not only ourselves, but with all the tables.
07/03/2020: Tourist prices I suppose but the shock of having to pay £100 for 2 drinks and a dozen pinxos was quite unpleasant. Nice place, food was OK but the prices are extortionate. Sorry.

27/01/2020: Abbiamo fatto una sosta veloce per pranzo, dopo aver visitato il Tate Modern. Tapas e grigliata mista di carne. Locale giovane ed informale, tipico spagnolo. Speso £115 in cinque. Molto Buono

27/11/2018: Visitamos Pintura para el cumpleaños de mi hijo con algunos de sus amigos. La comida era de buena calidad aunque un poco cara (para tapas) y el servicio era decente. Tuvimos una disposición de asientos estilo stand y el único aspecto negativo es que (cuando tiene una mesa de 6) los comensales deben pasar la comida y los platos, ya que el personal no puede comunicarse con las personas que se sientan al final. . No fue un gran problema para nosotros, ya que esperábamos una cena informal, pero puede que no sea adecuado para algunas personas y, por lo tanto, es la razón para señalarlo. En general, una buena comida para todos, sin mayores problemas.
31/10/2018: Asistí aquí durante la copa del mundo (Inglaterra jugando), así que fue extremadamente tranquilo sin ambiente, sin embargo, sospecho que esto fue excepcional. Una agradable y cálida tarde se sentó fuera fue simplemente fantástico.

*It was incredible when it was open* but sadly one of the owners has returned to Bilbao and the other has gone onto other projects.
09/03/2018: Went here in December 2017 as where staying at the Hilton across the way, it was a Cold Christmas night so staying near to the hotel was a last min decision.

29/08/2019: Fui con clientes a cenar, escogí el sitio por recomendación de unos amigos. Es comida vasca pero con un toque moderno. Yo me decanté por el bacalao y estaba delicioso, pero las carnes y pescados que tomaron los otros comensales tenían también un aspecto impresionante y por lo que decían estaban igualmente deliciosos. El personal es correcto y educado. El local está muy bien ubicado y es muy agradable, tal vez podría ser algo más luminoso. Relación calidad precio magnífica. Como sugerencia, deberían ampliar la variedad de vinos españoles que tienen.
07/11/2017: I have to say that place is horrible. The service was aweful and the food was even worst. Please avoid this place and spend your money somewhere else.

18/01/2020: The owners are a couple who have spent a long time in Spain. Therefore there is a good choice of Spanish dishes (Tortilla is excellent) along with more usual British lunch dishes such as jacket potato or a warming soup in Winter.
11/10/2019: I came out of the bank and wanted to have a coffee and some food. I opened up trip adviser as I wanted to go somewhere I’ve not been before.

03/10/2019: Just got home from visiting La Bodega. What a lovely experience we had. The food was amazing and Emilio (the owner) was charming. We will definitely be going back now that we have discovered it. Hasta luego.
17/12/2018: A group of twelve friends had a great Saturday night meal at La Bodega. We ordered a variety of meals including three traditional turkey dinners. Amazingly all meals arrived perfectly on time and were cooked to perfection. The Spanish owner/chef Emilio provides a varied choice of authentic Spanish meals on the menu along with the more traditional English meals. He really does work wonders.
