Lilu Cuisine

Castle, Leicester, 20-30£
18/10/2018: Not the standard Indian restaurant. Nice meals, good quality. Staff very helpfull. Will definitely go back.
11/10/2018: We visit here every year from Dublin and it is always our first choice of restaurant. Superb food and service as usual, can't fault it in any respect. Only disappointment was that Leicester City lost!

The Lamb Inn

Bisley, Stroud, 20-30£
14/11/2018: Went in for a nice glass of wine with my mum but met some strange service. They have a system that sends you into the (very male dominated) bar area at the bottom even if you’re seated on the only comfy seats at the top. (The other section is now entirely bar stools which are unsuitable for older or younger people!) Completely understand the food/drinks separate serving when the pub is busy serving food but there were 8 people in there altogether and 2 members of staff standing right there who declined to serve us, even though they noted it seemed strange given they were doing nothing! Common sense should maybe applied instead of trying to ‘train your customers’ even on a slow night! Annoying and not impressed.
12/11/2018: Far from your average pub, the Lamb always offers up great food and a wonderful day/night out. Whether it’s their Sunday roast, lasagna, stroganoff, chicken, fish n chips, chilli, ... it’s all freshly made and delicious. My husband and I have been many times with friends and family and never had or heard of anyone having a bad meal. The service is friendly and the family who run it are so lovely, and hardworking! A must visit for sure!

Kota Kai

Porthleven and Helston South, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly, 20-30£
15/12/2018: I've been to three movie nights with different people joining me every time. Every visit was relaxing & fun with consistent good quality in food and drink
14/12/2018: You will not be disappointed with whatever you order, the food is top notch.

The Silk Route

Riversway, Preston
03/12/2018: Visiting family so four of us decided to eat at the Silk Route.
01/12/2018: Well it was my sons 20th birthday,so the wife and I decided to take him out for a curry .

Pyke 'N' Pommes

Strand, Derry
11/11/2018: Great burger and great value 7.50 for burger and chips. One of the best burgers I have had. Must do gggggggggg
08/11/2018: As I was reading past reviews of Pyke ‘N’ Pommes, I was expecting a nice meal in a cute little setting next to a food truck. Guys, the best reviews of this place do not even do it justice! This isn’t your run-of-the mill food truck experience. First of all, the food will rock your socks. My husband had the Legendary Burger with fries, and I had the fish taco and squid taco. They were AWESOME SAUCE. To be honest, I still regret not going back for a second squid taco (insert sigh of disappointment). Now, let’s talk about atmosphere. This place nailed it. You have plenty of outdoor seating that is covered for those unexpected changes in weather. The best part? There is indoor seating as well. “What kind of indoor seating?” you may ask. Well, I’ll tell you. It’s a bus. That’s right! A vintage double decker bus that’s been remodeled into a diner! It’s the bees knees! Not to mention, it’s right on the water. Lunch and a view? Yes, please! To say we can’t wait to go back is an understatement. This place is easily our favorite place to eat in Derry.

St Jude, Portsmouth, 20-30£
19/11/2018: Could not fault the food in this restaurant. Good selection of Tapas dishes especially the calamari and the seabass. Cocktail menu is extensive and the ones we had were delicious. Service is also excellent. Only thing lacking is the atmosphere - was really cold and therefore made a big difference to the overall experience and the music was a little too loud. Put this right and it is really could be an impressive establishment.
05/11/2018: Great food ,it was such a delight to try all the different dishes.Nice wine list ,attentive staff.Tuna steak the best by far.Would advice booking as getting very busy.

Billy Andy's

Glynn, Larne
27/11/2018: We have lived within 6 miles of Billy Andy's but never tried it before. We had a family night out there and were very impressed with all aspects of this restaurant. We had a fantastic meal and the service and surroundings were first class. I think I can safely say that we will be back, soon.
26/11/2018: Meal was booked for 7 pm on a Thursday night only 8 people in the restaurant and it took 2 hours and 10 mins to serve 4 of us 3 courses I ask if the were servicing the sweet the next day. As for the portion the soup was served with 2 mini heels of bread the main course was so spread out on the plate you could see more plate than food and as for the dessert when it finally came the slice of cheesecake was the same size as my middle finger I measured it, so although the food we had tasted excellent for what we got, again i say when you have to ask for more bread more veg etc it's not the place to eat if your hungry

Leith Walk, Edinburgh, City of, <20£
15/09/2018: This is my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh! Amazing food, super fresh and tasty. BYOB is also great addition to the dining experience; there is a supermarket 2mins walk away to get drinks to bring. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is quirky and cosy.
02/09/2018: No he visto a mi pareja por un tiempo desde que se mudó a Edimburgo. Siempre escogemos y buscamos nuevos lugares cada vez que salimos. Y qué hallazgo es Bodega.

Mu Mu

East, Maidstone, 20-30£
02/12/2018: The food, staff, venue and drinks are second to none. Pure class from the moment you walk through the door. The 2 for £10 on cocktails can only be described as a steal, a giveaway if you will. You wouldn’t catch me without a Passionfruit Collins in each hand all night! Can’t wait to return! Number 1 venue in Maidstone without a shadow of a doubt
02/12/2018: I last visited here 3 years ago and had great memories. It didn't disappoint this time! Such great food and atmosphere and a one of a kind night!

Duchess of Delhi

Butetown, Cardiff, 30-45£
02/12/2018: What an excellent find in Cardiff Bay! We arrived without a reservation on a busy Saturday evening and the welcome we received was exceptional and they could not have been more accommodating and friendly.
02/12/2018: Fabulous 5 star service at the Duchess of Delhi they really couldn’t do enough. The food was delicious and staff were amazing . They even made a 40th birthday cake for my friend which was heaven on a plate. They even played Birthday music. Thank you so much for making Emma’s birthday so special going the extra mile and thanks for the amazing food. Xxx Betsan Gallagher ps very impressed with the welsh menu ( ardderchog )

The Ambrette Canterbury

Westgate, Canterbury
03/12/2018: Beautiful food. Perfect service. Jani, our waiter for the evening, was charming, courteous and in every way the perfect host! Brilliant evening ... can’t recommend it enough
02/12/2018: The Ambrette never fails to disappoint. Tonight the food was beautifully tasty and well spiced. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food was delivered well-presented and in good time. All in all we had a lovely time.

JaiHo at The Coppingham Arms

Horley East, Reigate and Banstead, 20-30£
08/12/2018: Fantastic food and service. Came here with some friends from Kent as had heard how good it is. So glad we did. Well worth the drive!
06/12/2018: We have been going here for years and their food never disappoints! Both when eating in or taking away, it always delivers.

Red Peppercorn

Bulk, Lancaster
01/12/2018: We visited for the first time tonight for my birthday. I didn’t know anything about the place beforehand my husband chose it as a surprise. The vegetarian/ vegan menu was fabulous , plenty of choice. The food was amazing the service was fantastic and the environment was lovely. A little gem of a place . The menu changes monthly . We will be back !!
04/11/2018: The food here is fantastic - if Red Peppercorn was in London there would be queues stretching down the street. Not as appreciated as it should be in Lancaster! Subtle flavours, Asian fusion food, generous sharing mezze-style eating. Menu changes often, always something new and different to try.

The Old Electric Shop

Hay, Powys, <20£
17/11/2018: There are plenty of good cafes in Hay, but this one stands out as it is a cafe come nick nack shop selling an eclectic variety of goods. The tables and chairs for food and drink are randomly scattered throughout the shop in books and crannies and the whole effect is warm and friendly. The premises is dog and child friendly and the coffee and tea excellent. Well worth a visit.
05/11/2018: We visited Hay-On-Wye during our October half term. We found this coffee shop, which is quirky and interesting. The coffee shop occupies a part of the actual shop, which sells all sorts of lovely books, clothing and crafts/gifts. The coffee was good and whilst we were there, we had a look at the menu and decided to come back for lunch. The young man who served us was very polite. Vegetarians and vegans would be well catered for. The lunch we had was butternut squash with feta and onion on sour dough bread - it was well presented and absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend this cafe.

The Rising Sun Thai & Pan-Asian

Purewell and Stanpit, Christchurch, >100£
09/12/2018: Nothing wrong with the food but not as good as it use to be. A shame as I use remember this place as a model for other businesses. Service was very good.
09/12/2018: Fantastic venue for a girls nite out.
