Lilu Cuisine

Castle, Leicester, 20-30£
20/07/2019: Excellent service and fantastic food. Can't recommend them enough! Friendly staff will look after you and ensure you have a unique experience. My first experience with indian fine dining and I will certainly go there again.
18/07/2019: A unique Indian dinning experience. A limited but very high quality menu. Good service. I've been three times and each visit has been excellent.

The Silk Route

Riversway, Preston
22/07/2019: Visited Preston for our son’s graduation and saw this restaurant had good reviews. We were not disappointed, the meal was fantastic. We all chose something different from the menu and from the banquet menu. The flavours were delicious. Wished this was our local restaurant.
22/07/2019: Service was fab, food was served quick and was good, however having done a tour of curry houses in the area, there are better ones. Would return if in the area.

Mu Mu

East, Maidstone, 20-30£
19/07/2019: Have been to this restaurant a lot recently and have never been disappointed with the food and quality of service. By far one of my favorite places to eat. Absolute food heaven.
17/07/2019: it's not often that I write reviews but tonight I was very impressed with both the services and the food.

Kota Kai

Porthleven and Helston South, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly, 20-30£
18/07/2019: Having read good things about this place, we saved it for the last night of our Cornwall holiday.
15/07/2019: I ate at Kota Kai whilst working in the area. To start with I ate the chilli prawns followed by the Hake. Both were well presented and very good.

St Jude, Portsmouth, 20-30£
30/06/2019: Love this location, specifically the bar downstairs. The bartender is always great, drinks are always on point. Love coming here when I am in town.
25/06/2019: My husband and I have been to Sant Yago’s many times and is probably our favourite place to eat in Southsea! We had an impromptu date night here last week managing to get a late booking on a Thursday evening (booking is a must!)

Red Peppercorn

Bulk, Lancaster
17/07/2019: We found this restaurant by chance, what a find. Beautifully prepared food with great flavours. Worth coming off motorway for.
05/07/2019: People of Lancaster and anyone visiting the city - try this restaurant! I never want to eat somewhere that serves food I could cook myself and this place offers originality and unique taste. The food was simply delicious as well as unusual. The service is great and it's a nice relaxed atmosphere, what's not to like? I'd definitely recommend! The chef changes the menu on a monthly basis so I can see this becoming a regular visit....

Duchess of Delhi

Butetown, Cardiff, 30-45£
20/07/2019: Chicken Korma set my mouth on fire. It was more like a jalfrezi. Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Stay away. When I mentioned it, staff were rude, kept rolling her eyes at us. This place should be shut down.
14/07/2019: The veggie dishes were terrible,no flavor. Went there first and last time.Did not expect bad quality of food. Made to wait for our dish for our 30 minutes when there was no one there.

Pyke 'N' Pommes

Strand, Derry
02/07/2019: This restaurant is small but oh so cute. Staff is excellent and it only got better from there. I was resistant to getting just a burger for dinner but was pleasantly surprised. Our appetizer was roasted cauliflower with tahini and harissa. This is the best cauliflower we ever ate. To tell you the truth I don’t get that excited about cauliflower but this was different. Moved onto the hamburger which was made from wagyu beef and delicious toppings. Fries were absolutely perfect. They offer beer, wine and cocktails. Go go go and try it. Back in the States now and missing that burger.
28/06/2019: The first time I ate in here it made me really love food. The tacos are so fresh and full of flavour.

Coconut Bar & Kitchen

Abbey, Reading
22/07/2019: I go back time and time again for this katsu!! Love it. Gyoza pretty good too- staff friendly and helpful.
14/07/2019: Decided on a whim while passing with the War office (missus), to have a quick bottle of vino here before we headed back to the railway station. After a friendly reception, we sat ourselves outside to observe and soak up the local atmosphere. Which we did, enjoying the to-ing and fro-ing of the colourful Reading street-life. Liked the friendly vibe and great sounding menu so will be back, soon. Cheers..

The Ambrette Canterbury

Westgate, Canterbury
21/07/2019: We went there for a family dinner. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was served promptly. We did think that the main course was fussily presented as plates of bits and pieces. I found it difficult to recognise my risotto as such, but it was tasty.
18/07/2019: I had the best and most original afternoon tea ever! It was an explosion of flavours in my mouth. The food is simply exquisite and also really affordable. The owner and the staff are incredibly welcoming and made you feel like you are travelling somewhere else.

JaiHo at The Coppingham Arms

Horley East, Reigate and Banstead, 20-30£
22/07/2019: Because of work I’m staying around London Gatwick Airport a few times per month. Almost every time I’m going to JaiHo and I’m never disappointed. Friendly staff, good service and excellent food. Simply the best Indian food I ever had. Highly recommended!
20/07/2019: It took some time for food to arrive after ordering. However, as this was a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed ( with a brisk take-away business also ongoing ), this was to be expected. Food is prepared to order and it shows - both in the time taken to prepare and in the quality / flavour of the food. Seek kebab appetizer was great. Chiken tikka massala was tasty. King prawn karahi was beautifully prepared - prawns were very tender, not overcooked as is often the case with a lot of restaurants. Garlic naan was to die for. Food is prepared the traditional Indian way, without any attempt to change / cater to English taste, other than ( I suppose ) the heat levels. Service was friendly, even after the meal when a cab was called to return us back to our airport hotel. A good find, near to the airport.

Bloomsbury, Camden, 45-60£
02/07/2019: This is a great place when you are looking for good quality with an exotic vibe.
01/07/2019: We picked this restaurant as a surprise for our 16 year old son as a birthday celebration and were so please with our choice. The decor of the place is fantastic and really eclectic and the little touches of the scroll menu and the rose water hand towel on arrival made it feel very special. We ordered a 3 dishes for each course and shared them between us and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The ostrich was a particular favorite along with the Zebra and Kangaroo.

The Lamb Inn

Bisley, Stroud, 20-30£
14/07/2019: I highly recommend the picnic feast. Blue lemonade, massive slice of home made scotch egg, hog burger, onion rings, chips my eight year old son could barely contain his excitement when he saw it all. As there was strawberries to dip in chocolate sauce, Eton mess, lemon posset, chocolate brownie, and a raspberry pudding to follow he was in heaven and struggled to try and fit it all in. Amazing value for money at £15 he declared it the best meal he’d ever had in his life. Served by the nicest bar staff in Gloucestershire.
12/07/2019: Really enjoyed the food. American sized portions, not one of us finished our meals! Good range of options. Please do more than once a year!

The Rising Sun Thai & Pan-Asian

Purewell and Stanpit, Christchurch, >100£
07/07/2019: Our friends that moved to France miss the spicy food so to give them a flavour hit went to our favourite Thai . As always the welcome was warm and the food delicious. We had a mixed starter followed by kung po chicken (3chillis) pad Thai and Thai Green Curry. All were great as usual. The only downside was the price of a small bottle of Singer Beer but other draught lagers were more reasonable. However a great place to eat Thai food.We will be back.
02/07/2019: This restaurant was obviously very popular and we were very lucky to get a table. We were presented with a comprehensive menu and opted to go for a banquet for two comprising a well chosen selection of starters and main dishes. The food was high quality and well presented and the quantities were perfect. Service was polite, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere and surroundings were pleasant and added to the enjoyment of the meal.

Jumunjy Lizard Thai Cuisine

Mullion, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly, >100£
19/07/2019: I come from food of the 70's, yes, I'm in my 60's. I have to say that the restaurant food of the 70's was much much better than the mediocre take away food of today. Why? Well, perhaps in the 70's we had a more discerning pallet or, quite simply the chefs were trained and emphasis was on the food rather than social media response.
29/06/2019: We had a great takeaway from here last year when we stayed at Sea Acres. If you ring at 1645 prompt and get your order in you wont be disappointed. Delivery is free if you order over £20 worth. This is delivered by a very friendly chap. The one we had this year was brilliant but could have maybe had a few more cashew nuts in the stir fry. We were slightly surprised to see that prices have gone up by 20% since last year. Not a criticism as such so perhaps they werent charging enough before. Very highly recommended though. Cant wait till next year when we holiday in Mullion
