We had a great lunch here. Very affordable. They've got a special room for the kids to play while we ate and a garden with play equipment . Plenty of high chairs. It's great having the kids zone in another room to the chilled relaxed vibe of the main cafe. We felt relaxed too as a result! Food was epic. I tried a special Iranian baked rice thing which was delish! Coffee and cake good too!

This is a great neighbourhood cafe with a really friendly and relaxed vibe. The food and drinks are excellent, and the cafe is very eco-friendly and vegan/vegetarian friendly. The vegan chocolate cake is amazing! The staff are fabulous, and the menu is imaginative and ever-changing. Meals always look healthy and nutritious. The food and drinks are also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Barake Cafe!

This place is the bomb. The food is amazing, the welcome wonderful, and the drinks and atmosphere lovely. Ethical also and help out their local community making meals and so on. Brilliant value for monwy

Lovely cosy cafe with great food and a varied changing menu. Very affordable too! The cafe also supports people in food poverty during lockdown so is a very worthy cause to support in the community. Look forward to it opening after lockdown!

Baraka's ethos is created and upheld by a team of volunteers and cooks with a huge variety of culinary backgrounds, styles, and influences. You might never get the same meal twice but whatever you do eat is totally delicious and you can rest assured your food is doing the community as much good as it is doing your belly. We really enjoyed our special Sri Lankan takeaway by Kule and the team. It was a special date night. We're so looking forward to being able to come for lunch when you reopen!

I've been here to eat 4 times before it had to temporarily close for covid and we've had the takeaway meals 4 times since covid. All times it's been such fantastic food, really healthy and lots of veggie and vegan options too. An amazing project and totally fascinating place to visit. A must visit in Bristol!

We had a lockdown takeaway from Baraka last week - a main, side and dessert all for just £8 Even without the knowledge that you're contributing to a brilliant cause AND helping to reduce food waste, its just really yummy. Definitely recommended :)

Baraka is a wonderful community project serving up delicious meals, largely created from ingredients that would otherwise go to waste. Their creative chefs make food that's not only tasty, but feels good for you. What's more, profits from the food delivery are used to fund food boxes for those in need. Great food, great mission.

This was our second lockdown order from Baraka. We didn't think it was possible but it was even more delicious than the last one. Beautiful chilli with nachos and a strawberry cake for dessert. The portion was huge and the flavours were restaurant quality! And the bonus is that the money goes to an amazing cause to support local families in need. Don't hesitate. Choose Baraka! <3

I had a delicious lunch here with a friend. A very interesting varied menu for all tastes changing weekly. Extremely good value. A really peaceful setting with a great team running the cafe.
