Always visit here when we stay at St Annes its a great restaurant, the food is amazing, the staff are very attentive and friendly,i cannot fault it. We came again for hubbys birthday,i pre booked in case it was busy, it wasn't that bad to be honest but the season is just starting, today we had meatballs and lamb rolls for starters with turkish flatbread, then we had the Adana Shisk and lamb chops, followed by baklava food was impecable and service was great, lovely bar area too. Cant wait to go back. Would recommend you wont be dissapointed.

The food was amazing, I had the Tatra Mountain and the Rosti with polish sausage and courgette. And the cocktail was the best cocktail I have ever had,it was called "Apple pie." The staff were very responsive and welcoming, over all a lovely evening.

Seven of us had an absolutely splendid luncheon this Wednesday 19th February. In a charming country pub, in an almost private room off the main part of the pub and its other dining spaces. We had a most leisurely repast of two courses, with ales, ciders and wine. The menu was nicely varied and most appropriate for these cool days. Servings sizes were spot on. The excellence was in the flavours and in the textures. There was time between ordering and the courses for convivial chatter and merriment, so time just flew by before the settlement time arrived. We were very well after by the staff who had full knowledge of what was on offer, such every question answered with confidence and authority. The facilities were well looked after and clean, with obvious recent investment expended. All in all, a cracking good lunch. We shall be back!

Recently went to Socius with family. My husband is currently on an elimination diet which is extremely restrictive. I emailed the restaurant a week prior to our visit to see if/how things could be adapted, thinking some advance warning might be beneficial for the kitchen, but also us to save lengthy conversations at the table. I received a really kind and helpful response back ensuring me that dishes could be easily adapted and my husband would receive his own menu on the night with plenty of choice. This was exactly what happened and all the modified dishes were DELICIOUS! Upon arrival we were immediately asked who was the member of the party with the allergy, and when sat down, we were given an extra printed menu with all of the 'safe' options on. The fact a separate menu had been generated was a really simple but thoughtful touch that made my husband still feel included and normalise his experience. All members of staff that came to the table were aware the allergies and made us feel totally relaxed and at ease. Due to his diet being restrictive, we have not been able to eat out since it began so to be able to still enjoy our Socius experience was incredible. The highlight definitely had to be the adapted 'Socius chocolate bar', the one item my husband was devastated to miss out on - and he didn't have to!! Thank you again to all the team for another lovely visit, and for going to extra mile for us. It was noticed and greatly appreciated. We had a lovely time (as always!), and we cannot wait to come back.

Visited twice during our holiday and both evenings were excellent. All the staff were welcoming, informative and professional. Great atmosphere. The small plates all have an imaginative twist and having tried 10 different ones over the 2 visits there was no disappointment in any. Highly recommend.

From the warm welcome until we left the staff at Dine could not have done more for us. We weren’t rushed , our waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Our dietary needs were catered for without fuss . Our food was really tasty, piping hot and nicely presented. There is a really pleasant ambience . I can’t think of a better place for brunch in Edinburgh .

Visited 3 times in the week after Christmas and it was consistently very good! The homemade soup with crusty bread is a must. Beware if you go late the soup may have run out! Would definitely recommend the bacon roll with so much lovely bacon. Coffee is also excellent!
