19/01/2020: I've just been for Sunday lunch as a present for my birthday. Had some delicious soup to start . Sea bream for the main, with superb cauliflower cheese . Dessert was a very chocolatey torte . Service was extremely polite which I really like . All in all an excellent birthday present . Couldn't fault it .
12/01/2020: Great food wonderful service 200% Thank you see you again soon!!

No. 46 Coffee Shop

13/01/2020: Enjoyed a cream tea for two today. Huge, tasty scones and plenty of clotted cream and jam. Also a really nice, welcoming environment. Looking forward to calling again soon, for lunch.

The Old Bank

Snettisham, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, >100£
25/12/2019: This was our first visit to the old bank and we were extremely pleasantly surprised. Really good food and wine, wonderful service. All in all a real treat.
15/12/2019: Just simply exquisite food...fabulous service....cosy favourite place by far !!!

Steam Bistro

Coniston and Crake Valley, South Lakeland
19/01/2020: Amazing food and good service very relaxed atmosphere . Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and are still talking about the food weeks afterwards . Thanks for a wonderful Christmas treat.
06/01/2020: Second visit here after our first in October 2019. Good quality food again. This was the last night open, before closing until February so not all dishes were on, but there was a good choice. Colin the owner came out to speak to us and was friendly, along with the waiter. Nice food. Nice place to eat. Would come back.

Wild Thyme Restaurant and Rooms

Chipping Norton, West Oxfordshire
13/01/2020: A jewel hidden away on the main road, Wild Thyme restaurant is easily just passed by but what a lovely place to spend an evening. We visited Chipping Norton just for the one day and this was a perfect end to it. Simply but beautiful menu, warm and friendly service and staff. Absolutely couldn't fault it and they say it's the simple things, the bread selection at the beginning of the meal was wonderful. Thoroughly well worth a visit and deserving of its rating
05/01/2020: Others seem starry eyed about this place, but I've been disappointed by the food on a couple of occasions. The one time I mentioned the fact - in response to the 'Everything all right?' question - I was given, with a certain note of indignation, the irrelevant answer that 'It's a very popular dish with our customers.' The food will be as good and much better value, and the welcome warmer at the Red Lion in Long Compton, ten minutes away.

Crave Ice Cream

Ventnor East, Isle of Wight, <20£
07/01/2020: A great place to go for ice-cream for all the family. You can try before you buy and it has a great range of flavours.
07/01/2020: Best place on the IOW to get a ice cream. Never tasted any thing so nice, so many flavors and all home made 🍦🍨🍧

The Brasserie

Poulton, Lancaster, <20£
08/12/2019: Fantastic restaurant. Lazarus , the owner, so friendly and welcoming. Visited twice now although my partner has been numerous times. The food is excellent. The baby Calamari are the best I've ever tasted. Wonderful place and cannot wait to return. Have already booked for 2020.
07/12/2019: We arrived at 6 o’clock for our booking and we were seated by the owner who was amazing. Friendly, funny, welcoming and an superb host. A jug of water was brought to the table straight away. It may be so little to do this but it still it just made it so much nicer than to ask for this. We then ordered drinks which came straight away. We ordered a main order sharing platter for 3 between 4 of us. This came in stages and each time the host brought the food and he explained what everything was and made us chuckle. After the sharing platter we then had a dessert. The food all together was hands down amazing. Every dish was flavoursome. Each brought a different aspect and was handmade no doubt. Authentic Greek. I can honestly say this place has it down to a tee. If you are thinking of going anywhere make it here. It is a small business so you would be supporting this instead of a chain. Your dining experience in terms of quality of service and food will not be beaten if you choose here.

Rose and Grants (Tronsgate)

Calton, Glasgow City
12/01/2020: Delicious cakes and coffee, friendly staff who provide great service, also caters for vegetarian and vegan foodies. Will definitely go again.
04/01/2020: Very good food and all the staff are very polite and friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone

Harry's Bistro

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
20/01/2020: Harry's Bistro is based inside the HPB (Holiday Property Bond) venue near Beaumaris in Anglesey. So most of the diners will be HPB owners looking for a respite from self catering. There is usually a dining facility at most HPB properties, and they are usually good and well supported. Harry's Bistro is no exception. The food is of a good standard and so is the service. The welsh faggots were particularly good. The wine is probably over priced, though you can get a bottle for about £18. I couldn't find a menu outside the place so had to venture in before I found one.
20/01/2020: Bit of a mix up over the booking but once sorted everything was as good as before. Attentive and friendly staff, lovely fresh bread, olives to start. The belly pork with crackling is amazing! Deserts are good too! Reasonable wine selection.

The Corner House Cafe

Grassington, Craven
28/12/2019: Friendly, welcoming, muddy boots not a problem. Great speciality teas, good coffee, panini was excellent, attention to detail top marks, including providing drinking water for the table without prompting. Food presentation also very good. Don’t miss this one
05/12/2019: Whilst staying in Grassington for the Dickensian festival we visited this cafe for breakfast and were very glad we did. Friendly and professional with plenty of choice for gluten free. We all ordered something different from the menu and were all delighted with our choices and also took some cake (gluten and dairy free choices too) for later. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day and the staff remembered our dietary requirements. The dog was also made very welcome.

Rose Cottage Cafe

Hope Valley, High Peak, <20£
21/01/2020: We try to go once a week, always a warm welcome, staff are friendly and super efficient, food Is great whether you have a beautiful home made cake or more substantial meal everything is first class,a wide variety of hot a cold meals, soups and salads ,all made to order ,with fresh ingredients.
17/01/2020: I'm not often moved to write reviews on Tripadvisor but I enjoyed my sweet potato falafel on flatbread so much that I thought others should know how good it was. The falafel were very light and the salsa perfectly spiced while the flatbread was soft and a bit thicker than most others I've come across - all with a good salad and yogurt dressing. It was scrumptious and the portion was generous too.

Bistro Bermo

Abermaw, Gwynedd, 20-30£
27/12/2019: Had an absolute fantastic Boxing Day Meal with the family. The atmosphere, food and welcome were all super. A very very special restaurant.
08/12/2019: The food was very good quality, with a varied and interesting menu, which had plenty of tempting choices. The food was also beautifully presented. The service was attentive without being over the top. The restaurant is small, friendly and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Coastal Cafe

Moelfre, Isle of Anglesey
27/12/2019: Excellent!!! As a treat on our last night we have just had take out tea from Lisa and John and as always it’s bloody GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! I had the Zinger Tower Burger and Holly Sugar it’s huge, full of flavour and so so filling with a big hint of “ I’m having that again!” Mum had small fish which isn’t small small but again batter is perfection, perfect crisp and golden and that real crunch with the crispy ends! I had the spicy curry sauce and mum had the mushy peas again full of flavour and Morish!! As a treat we had a scollop each and some chicken strips to share!! And again cooked to perfection!!! And I must say TRY THE HOMEMADE ONION RINGS!!! Heaven on a plate! And to be honest EVERY visit we’ve had here from sitting in or take out has been perfect in every way!! Staff are brilliant and ask as many questions about the food as you need as NOTHING is to much for these guys! And as for the owners same again, friendly faces, polite and always say hello to ALL customers!! If you’ve not been here then why not?? It’s defo not one to miss on your travels!!! O and if you really fancy a burger I recommend ALL of them! As over the visits I try and have a different meal each time and every meal has been top notch!!! I’ve tried a few places BUT I always come back here as this is the only one that has, for me, the best full flavour meals with a HUGE variety and even with fussy eaters nothing’s to much for these guys!! So well done and keep up the fantastic food!!! Xxx
30/10/2019: Lovely little cafe serving great food also an extensive GF option and vegan, would highly recommend if in the area, both sit in and takeaway options at reasonable prices. Lovely friendly staff and a clean cafe.

L'Albero Delle Noci

Low Harrogate, Harrogate, <20£
19/01/2020: We used Tripadvisor to find an Italian in the centre of Harrogate, as we were clueless where to book for dinner out whilst having a night away. We couldn't have been more impressed by this place, what a find! Service is great, attentive but not at all rushed. Starters, mains and desserts were all absolutely beautiful and the wine list is not expensive. All three of us can't wait til we can visit again! Highly recommended.
17/01/2020: Wow!! A small family run restaurant. We were meet by friendly staff and shown to our table, menus were left for us to peruse.

La Locanda Italian Bistro

City Centre, Edinburgh, City of, 30-45£
14/01/2020: Il ristorante si trova proprio nel Old Town ed è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi tramite le scalinate che partono dalla stazione di Waverley.
07/01/2020: We were looking around the Royal Mile area in search of some good Italian food. There were a couple of Italian restaurants close by that didn't look great. Luckily we checked TripAdvisor and found this small place "tucked away" on Cockburn St. We were even luckier to get the last table.
