My boyfriend and I were looking for a cafe to have lunch at. We saw this one on Google Maps and decided to try it out. When we got here we were welcomed with beautiful decor and incredibly friendly staff. We ordered our food, and when we got it, all I can say is that it was delicious. Beautiful presentation, and taste. The dirty fries (pictured) are a highlight - the nicest loaded fries I’ve ever tasted, so I would highly recommend. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about The Rising Café. The food was beautiful, the decor is cute, and the staff are so friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

This is our 4th visit, and every time the food has been awesome. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the cafe has a very cosy feeling. We will definitely be back again.

What a welcome from the comprising Gaye, Chris and Jo. Super breakfast at the King’s Head Hotel and as I walk out onto Masham square, after my sumptuous breakfast, I feel ready to face the day. This is small cagfe set back from the coast path, ideally placed to rest a while. Great coffee and cake. Highly recommended

Sunday evening meal for four as part of an impromptu get-together; no firm plans for food but Harvey's was suggested and we were all happy with the choice. Good selection of food and drinks, decent prices, good quality food in good portions (not much left and no-one still hungry, just about right)! Topped off by great cheerful and friendly service from Tilda. Well done Harvey's, we'll be back :-)

Really nice gluten free ciabatta with all the trimmings. Also GF scone and chocolate cake available. Lovely setting. Clean and tidy.

The tastiest French toast! The eggs pastrami are insane too! The atmosphere is lovely and the service is friendly, definitely worth the wait.

Spent a lovely weekend here , room amazing and facilities great . Breakfast was huge and gorgeous . Staff friendly and even managed to find a ring and return it to me , I can’t praise this place enough . It’s an absolute gem .

If you are on holiday or just passing by, do not fail to stop and enjoy this gem of a cafe and you will be welcomed like old friends by Andrew, his Team and of course his 'greeters', Sam and Rocky, his friendly Border Collies. The atmosphere and homeliness of this unique hostelry can only be appreciated by a visit, as also the food of course, which is delicious, generous, and ranges from scrumptious home made gateaux, to its widely renowned choice of meals. If possible do try its selection of delicious cooked breakfasts, which really set you up for your onward journey or for your trip to the many beaches and castles etc. in which this area abounds. If you want an experience as well as a hearty meal, we are certain you will not be disappointed - just read the many reviews....!!!
