Margaret's Tea Rooms in Lincoln

We ordered a afternoon lunch selection for 25 people at our baby shower in Lincoln. The owner Dez could not do enough to meet our requests. He delivered a fantastic spread. The selection of sandwiches were delicious and he catered for everyone’s dietary needs. His homemade sausages and his scones with cream and strawberries went down a storm. They delivered to our venue, which took away all the added stress. Thanks again for delivering us a lovely spread on our special day. We will definitely use Margaret’s Tea Rooms a again.

Once again Does and his staff excelled themselves. I booked for my Mum and I to pop in for lunch at 12 o'clock today whilst we were in Lincoln. We were made to feel welcome and were shown to our table. We chose our lunch and were more than happy with the repast we were given. After we had finished we ordered a slice each of cake to have later today. Again we were not disappointed. It was besutiful. Thankyou to Des and staff for making our visit so special.

Found this lovely tea room by accident. What a pleasant surprise it was. We only went in for a drink & a scone which was yummy. We saw the afternoon tea & it looked amazing. Wish we hadn’t eaten earlier. The owner was really friendly & we ended up chatting for ages. Such a shame it’s closing down. Good luck in your new adventure.

Called at the tea rooms for tea and cake and thorough recommend this beautiful little place. Des, the owner, was very welcoming. My husband had a gorgeous slice of red velvet cheesecake which he says was wonderful, while I had a fruit scone served with jam, cream and fresh strawberries. The scone was fresh and warm from the oven Des took time to chat to us whilst we were there. Would definitely recommend giving the place a try, you won’t regret it

We've been to Margaret's Tea Room for a number of special occasions. It is a family favourite. The owner has always been friendly and welcoming. He has a fantastic sense of humour and has always made our experience extra special. We love the service and attention to detail. I'd recommend the Muddy Boots/Wellies Tea it's my favourite. Also the cheese scones are fantastic!!!

I have been frequenting this wonderful tea room since day one, sadly not as often as I'd like, but life sometimes gets in the way. Delicious 'Mum's Crumble' tea and a chocolate fudge brownie today. Des has always been the perfect host, genial, knowledgeable and goes out of his way to ensure you have the best experience. Every accommodating the most rowdy of groups and always with good grace. I'm saddened that he is having to close, what has been his dream, because of rising costs of fuel and food, and Covid. Despite the trials he has had to endure, especially recently with the most unfounded attacks upon himself and his business, he is ever the professional. A superb baker. His cheese scones are second to none, and his cakes are phenomenal. I'm going to miss this little sanctuary of loveliness and one of the biggest showmen I know. Good luck in your new venture with Memoirs Teas, and hopefully pop in before you finally close the doors. 💜

ime sorry but i have to write a review and say that every time we have been to this tea room the service and the attention to detail has been amazing. We run a 5* gold guest house and have been number 1 for nearly 15yrs and we know how bad reviews can effect your business and out of spite hurts especially when you love what you do and put your heart and soul into making sure that everyone is happy and leave remembering a great experience. We are so fussy and dont rate highly easily but we have to say that this place deserves every top review and my advise is go on a high and dont let these people get you down its not worth your energy.
