Came over from Liverpool and had our dinner at the wimpy , sanje and deeta are the nicest hosts you could ask for and made us feel so welcome. Food was amazing , cooked fresh and piping hot 🙌🏻, we’ve been coming to wimpy since I was a kid and it’s still as good as ever and that’s all credit to sanje and his family ❤️ Thanks again , we will be back soon Tom & Jane

Las bebidas, así como los aperitivos eran perfectos. Adi, nuestro camarero, no dejó nada que desear y nos impresionó con su manera amable y excelente servicio.

Superb food, service and wine. With Four friends- two meat, two vegetarian. We went for the chef's menu. Every dish was well balanced, superbly presented and served and tasted great. Wine selection great and added to a top quality experience.

We have dined at Marleys for many years, a friendly restaurant serving great food. The menu is a refreshing change from the usual fare. But on our last visit we were shocked at the price of a bottle of wine !! We will continue dining at Marleys but restrict ourselves to wine by the glass or beer.

Weekly changing specials and all food seems to be tasty and good value for money. Lots of thought and care goes into each dish and each item that makes up each dish. Unfortunately, we didnt have time for the delicious looking cakes. Service is quick, efficient and friendly. The inside seating in the old barn is clean, bright and airy with outside tables for warmer days. A great cafe, get there early, it gets busy even on week days.

A really friendly welcome this morning.we were first in for breakfast shortly after opening time. The staff were really nice and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and coffee so good we had a second cup, this set us up for our day on the next stage of the South West Coast path. A great find.

A friend who lives locally suggested we have lunch here and it was a great choice. We were lucky to get the last table upstairs on a Friday lunchtime. She had a ham and cheese toastie with salad, I chose the frittata with the smoky beans and everything was delicious. You have to pay in another building next door but one on leaving, and the very pleasant girl there offered me a 10% voucher to use in the bakery opposite. As it was Valentine’s Day we chose a couple of heart shaped brownies and they were gooey, chocolatey perfection.

Shame that this has closed and we were so fortunate to get there on the last day before it did. When we saw that it was still number one and also award winning, we had to return and we're not disappointed. We just hope that the other cafes in Lynmouth rise to the standards set for future visits.
