Great service and food, I wanted to treat my daughter to a breakfast and had been told the pancakes are amazing, her eyes lit up when she saw the menu and we agreed they are the best pancakes

My husband was having a bad day at work only a few doors away from the shop, so I phoned Bread & Butter to see if I could send him a bacon sandwich (because bacon cures all manner of ills). B&B were amazing, after being a touch bemused by the request, they made and delivered the Sandwich (which I'm told was absolutely delicous) within 10 minutes. For an added "awww" factor, they even drew a heart by his name on the packet (pictured). I've eaten with them before and the food was drool-worthy, but today I needed to express my childish excitement and gratitude to the success of the Bacon Sandwich and the crew at Bread & Butter.

Absolutely lovely experience! Pancakes were delicious and the atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming :) Service was amazing, definitely recommend.

Excellent lunch. All very fresh and tasty. We had a cheese and ham toasty and the soup on the day, both came with a delicious salad. The staff were very friendly and so helpful and personable. Well done all involved, we’ll be back soon

What a cute little place. I loved the novelty of how you get into the cafe. Lovely menu and great vegan options. A beautifully thought out space, and lovely garden seats but book in advance for these. Very kind and helpful staff, thanks for accommodating us without a booking.

Delicious salads, frittata, some sandwiches, soup etc. lovely friendly staff and reasonable low mid-range prices. Make sure you book in advance on their website as the restaurant is small and very popular - with good reason. I really recommend this lovely place.

Very nice food, good service and we rather enjoyed being wrapped in rugs outside. Was a bit disconcerted to have to choose the tip on the payment machine…..but that was the only unpleasant aspect to our experience.

Quick stop for coffee in between appointments. Tucked away through a small gateway. Lovely little outdoor area ( we had our dog with us) with blankets and heaters. Quick service and helpful staff.

Great coffee, great brownies, great service, great outdoor seating area. We were there on a very cold January morning with our dog and the waitress put a heater on for us and there were a bunch of blankets to keep warm.

I often come to Bread & Butter for pancakes and the best hot chocolate ever! This place is so lovely and comforting, and all the staff are friendly, smiley and welcoming. Definitely will be back for more treats sitting in the gorgeous outside garden in one of the covered booths. The pancakes are the best I’ve ever tasted!! Highly recommend this delightful cafe :)

Looked for somewhere different for breakfast that had choices for all the family. I was impressed, as was my young son. We had the pancakes and they were perfectly delicious.

This is a lovely cafe offering a wide range of breakfast and lunch items. The service is excellent and the staff have a friendly attitude and you can take away if you want to enjoy at home. Two items we would recommend would be the giant sausage roll and for a sweet treat you must try the kouign-amann which is a sweet Breton honey pastry which is simply delicious. The coffee was good and the prices reasonable.

This was an amazing find. We stumbled across this cafe whilst looking for somewhere to have coffee. We walked down the little alley into a glorious garden area with lovely covered tables. We were so impressed with both the layout and the coffees we booked for lunch that day. The food was amazing, the staff very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back. Our new favourite place in Truro.

A great place for lunch with your family. We stumbled upon this gorgeous little place whilst looking for somewhere to eat. The food on offer was different from the usual menus found. Everything was fresh and delicious. We sat outside in a small courtyard in a lovely, comfortable booth. Service was excellent, served with a smile. Little bakery across the way sold delicious cakes and sourdough bread.

New to the area, and passed by several times. Shopping with my husband and decided to stop here for lunch. Food was good and well priced. Staff were friendly, polite and efficient.

Floor covered in food from previous diners, room cold, bench seat in corner (uptstairs) uncomfortable and "could we have some water please?". "Yes, there's glasses and a jug over there". What?! Food good enough (nice sausage roll from St Agnes Bakery - but I could have bought that myself seeing as I live in St Agnes!) What a terrific way to end our Cornish holiday- a pile of delicious fresh pancakes, syrup and bacon for breakfast! And they make a great pot of tea- an extra bag was no trouble at all. We've eaten there too, and love the scrummy salads and end up with a non-diet Chocolate Brownie. A little hideaway in the middle of Truro. Don't miss it!

We were here for breakfast as we have done many times before. I normally have yogurt, granola fruit bowl. This time the amount of granola had been halved and a different make which was not of the same quality. We came away somewhat disappointed 😔!
