Oh wow!! Absolutely fabulous food and I’m coming back to try more of the menu. We had the Buddha bowl and the quiche. Amazing flavours. I’m told the chef is vegan and he certainly knows what he’s doing in the kitchen.

Amazing, scrumptious vegan and vegetarian food. Beautiful, soothing soul music. Great Chefs. Friendly staff. Smoothies and cakes are amazing.

Best Vegan Breakfast in Truro. After searching, I have finally found a place to have a full vegan breakfast, seasoned to perfection. I will certainly be becoming a regular :)

Lovely gem of a place, tranquil and great chill out spot with plant based yummy food and a really lovely lady serving. I really enjoyed my gluten free vegan quiche, haven't ever had one before! Their lemon cake is so delicious because you can taste all the narural flavours in it! Ended up meeting lovely people and talking for ages...Will definitely return! Sunday roast sounds sooo good!

Lovely fresh vegetarian/ vegan food with plenty of gluten free options. A perfect place to stop for breakfast/ brunch, lunch or just tea and cake. The staff are upbeat and caring, you can see the kitchen and the chef working hard. It all tastes delicious.

Col ours is a place we would get back to again and again - if only we could! We especially appreciated that the staff arranged a gluten-free AND vegan afternoon set for us both (after calling a couple of hours in advance), the food was delicious and plentiful too. A big thank you and Namaste to all the people working there - I wish you opened a place like this in my city…

Came across this Gorgeous Vegan cafe today on our visit to Truro. Excellent Smoothies delicious homemade cake, & really friendly service. Well worth a visit.

I went here today to meet with a group from the Cornwall Vegans. I had a lovely hot chocolate and piece of banana and cinnamon cake that was amazing. Others in the group had burgers, and quiche that looked really good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I've booked to come here for my birthday as it was so nice.

One of the best vegetarian and vegan restaurants I’ve ever visited, staff are lovely and attentive and food is fantastic and home made! Great coffee and I’m a particular fan of the Buddha bowl and breakfasts

Excellent cafe. Myself and my husband both had the Buddha bowl and the some vegan cake. Beautiful food, lovely chilled atmosphere and super friendly staff. Its a shame its not closer to Kent as we definitely would visit regularly.

After I had to cancel my table due to covid I phoned to see if Colours would provide some takeaway food for a family Bbq and my family thought it was the some of the nicest food they had tasted. The food was super fresh and tasty, I'm so glad I asked them. You will not be disappointed if you try it!

Amazing selection of fabulous food! As a gluten free vegan I find it quite tricky to have a good meal out. Colours was exceptional. Not only was there choice but the choice was between really beautiful food. I had the vegan burger. It was stunning! I have never eaten such a lovely gluten free bap! My husband had the Buddha bowl which was also delicious as were the sweet potato fries. We will be going back!!

Had lunch with a friend who is a vegan I had the mushroom quiche and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was served with a fresh mixed salad. Dont be put off because this is a vegan cafe because their menu is innovative and if the rest of the choice is as good as the quiche I think you will be surprised. Staff are attentive and helpful.

Discovered while looking for breakfast - so pleased as great food and coffee (Wide choice of milks) in relaxed environment. Friendly, good service - will definitely be returning on next trip to Truro.

Arrived slightly after the breakfast cut off but were still accommodated and well worth the visit. Granola bowl and toast was delicious as was the scrambled egg and avocado on toast. Stumbled across the venue but will definitely be back!

Both me and my mum are primarily vegan and this lovely café has become a bit of a regular for us now. The food is absolutely delicious and every time we come we can never decide on what to have as there are so many good vegan options - although I think we both agreed the homemade vegan sausage rolls are a real winner. The staff and owner are lovely and really friendly. And of course there is plenty of vegan cake too, the brownies and the raw vegan cake are delicious.Definitely a top location in Truro in my opinion :)

Visited with friends for lunch, absolutely lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great service and the food is second to none.

Well documented that I’m not a veggie or vegan but girlfriend is a veggie. Happened upon Colours whilst looking for a Tapas bar (or so I’m told). Thought we would have some lunch. I went for the scrambled egg with avacado (well presented and tasted glorious) the veggie had Mexican dish with salsa and beans etc. both fantastic and will return.

We had a great lunch - partner said his mushroom & walnut burger with salad was the best he's had in a very long time and my scrambled eggs and avocado on sourdough toast was delicious - also yummy hot mulled apple juice. Colours is quite hidden away but well worth seeking out!

I found the menu interesting and I visited the cafe' twice to taste their vegan cream tea and the vegan breakfast. All was very nice and tasty. The atmosphere very relaxing. Nice music too.

We wanted to try somewhere new in Truro for vegan food and this place had great reviews so we popped by. Despite being totally filled to the max, the lady serving was graceful, polite and honest about there being a wait on food because she was so busy. The vibe was so calm and friendly we figured why not have an excuse to sit around and relax for a while! So we stayed and I had a coffee frappe which was delicious, and then to eat my partner had a homemade burger and I had a platter. My platter had avo, humous, falafel, salad, bread, coleslaw and fig. It was unbelievably delicious and it felt so wholesome and healthy too. Such great value and a great portion for the price. The coleslaw particularly was just divine. My partner loved his burger which was huge. We used to love one at a local place back in Notts that closed down and he said it was just like that. We were saving ourselves for the new vegan galaxy so didn’t stay for dessert on this occasion. We will defo be back for sure.

Very nice friendly people, we had the cream tea which had a lovely warm homemade scone with lashings of jam & clotted cream .

Colours has such a friendly atmosphere. The owner always goes out of her way to greet old and new customers. Food and drinks are freshly prepared and always very tasty

Community feel and seriously good food and coffee makes Colours stand out form the Truro crowd. The owner has spent a lot of time building up the customer base which is loyal and return visitors know they can rely on excellent quality food and drink. Worth a vist when you travel here!

Just had most scrumptious scrambled eggs made with the freshest of eggs! Simple but highly commended!

Took my step son there for vegan lunch and the quirky little place did not disappoint........well priced, excellent home made dishes, good portions, clean, exceptionally friendly owner and overall lovely vibe........you can sit out by the river and watch the world go by or inside where there are alternative and holistic reading material on hand!!!!!! Our new favourite place in Truro

Owner managed. Friendly and pleasant relaxing environment with sensitive musical background. Home made produce. Vegan friendly. Also runs other activities outside of hours which I have not experienced.

Nice and friendly place to have a hot drink and a cake. Lots on offer, even had a indian head massage today , great to relax before finding any bargains in truro.

Unbelievably friendly and welcoming with great customer care. Great home cooked food and very well priced. Ideal place for lunch.

We happened to stumble upon this place while searching for gluten free tea, and what a miracle it was! We are a group with quite a few food restrictions, including gluten, diary, nightshades, soya, etc, and all 3 of us had to take food to go because there was so much we could eat. Vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free - you name it, she's got it. We could not have been more appreciative of her knowledge and questioning of all the ingredients. Not only that, but I wanted to try one of the other sandwiches that had cheese and am dairy free, so she whipped up a tiny bit of the filling sans cheese so I could partake in what the rest of my family was eating. If we lived in Truro, we would come back for all the classes and workshops in addition to the delicious food and drink. If we are ever back in the area, we know exactly where we will be stopping!

Having tried the Cornish Vegan the week before, decided to try Colours Café by the river. I had beetroot and sweet potato soup followed by raw black forest cake.

Went in for lunch with a friend. The cafe made us feel welcome and relaxed. The food and drinks were all healthy and really tasty. We both enjoyed the yarg cheese toastie with special chutney followed by brownies with orange in them. Well worth a visit if you want to get away from the hectic streets of Truro and it is close to the car park, which is good for disabled people, like my friend.

Great cafe away from the humdrum of the City centre my go-to place for a chill Super coffee and important for me really good Wi-Fi . Friendly service with a smile

A good little cafe with relaxed atmosphere. Homemade soup was good and we had a lovely piece of raw cake 'Black Forest' which is worth trying out. Slightly Off beaten track so great when town very busy.

Called in for bite to eat, lovely vegan foods available together with milk alternatives for drinks. Nice atmosphere, close to river and car parking. Will be calling back each time we are shopping in Truro.

Went in today and ordered a vegan cheese and tomato toasted sandwich. It was presented well and very tasty!!!!
