What a lovely place for breakfast; very welcoming. Did not book, but got lucky. The place is very popular and now we know why. Food was piping hot and exceptional. I had the big breakfast and a coffee, wifey had poached eggs on toast and a coffee. Great views out the door of the Portsmouth tower. We will definitely be trying to get back before we leave the island.

Visited twice whilst we were on the island. The first time we called in and they had a table available. We ordered 2 vegetarian breakfasts and some lattes, there was a mix up with the drinks but this was sorted before delivery. The meal was large and tasted really good, loved the potatoes and the really tasty sausages. The second time was only for a coffee and cake (the chef was not in that day), but yet again excellent service, cakes and drinks. We will be back!

We had a fabulous lunchtime meal. Two of us ate from the all day breakfast menu and two from the lunch menu. All meals were delish, portion sizes good and good value for money. We also had teas and coffees - good quality as well. It's up a steep-ish hill but there is parking on the hill. It's not super big so we could imagine you'd need to book in peak season. The staff and regulars were super friendly.

What a great place , we called in on the off chance of something to eat and although we could see the tables had reserved plaques on them, the more than friendly lady who served us went out of her way to squeeze us in for two full English breakfasts and a portion on Dirty rice for my son who smashed the lot of it. Fantastic Breakfasts (Big) option. I will recommend to anyone visiting the island and will definitely be making a detour next year for some food.

What I love about good places is the people. This team is tightknit and happy. This alone does not make a great place to eat but, add great style, great food and service (as they have done) and you come up with a winner. Don't take a chance by going elsewhere, book here (you need to) and you will not be disappointed.

We were going to arrive on the IOW at 8.30am so we needed to find somewhere for breakfast. I found that No64, at Ryde, was recommended so we gave it a try. It was amazing. It was only a small place but it was homely, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the food and coffee was delicious. If I lived close to the IOW on the main land, I would take a ferry trip just for the breakfast. We could see the Spinnaker Tower at Portsmouth from where we were sitting.

A must visit for a full English! We had two coeliacs who both has the gluten free ‘big brekkie’ which was fantastic! The portion size was perfect and the sausages were the best we’d found in ages. They also had a small selection of gluten free cakes including a Victoria sponge, Lemon Drizzle and Chocolate and Beetroot Cake as well as a larger selection of ‘regular’ cakes, all went down no problem!

Visited Saturday 17/7 for breakfast. Warm welcome. Great quirky decor. Covid safe. Wonderful friendly attentive staff in nice uniforms. Lovely coffee. Both traditional and alternative menu. Corn beef hash was finger licking good as was Cajun dirty rice, delicious food, and good portions. Chief takes pride in his food and talks to his customers to check they are happy, he clearly loves his job as all the happy staff appear to. I visited No64 for Saturday brunch and what a delight it was. The staff were completely lovely, the restaurant was very clean and cooly decked out. The menu was really interesting, all the traditional cafe offerings plus many other exciting dishes. My wife had the full English and I had a Cajun rice dish and both were a 10/10 (I ate a fair amount of my wife’s food). The portions were generous and I honestly thought the prices represented amazing value. I was visiting the IOW but if I lived on the island this would definitely be my local eatery for sure. A great spot for lunch! There was a group of 6 of us and despite our short notice in terms of table booking they accommodated us perfectly. The food and menu is stunning. Just the right choice but without being overwhelming and a few lovely specials which complimented the menu. Clearly a talented chef. After daily attending the cafe in the hope of a table for over a week and purchasing takeaway drinks, today was no different. I was told “no table available all day”, so a takeaway late and flat white is was. However as my coffees were made a new customer arrived without a booking and requested a table. This customer was quickly given a table. This is disgusting treatment of someone who had been a regular customer. Although the waitress recognised my change in face there was no apology or recognition of my family of 4’s loyalty. If this is how they treat people I hate to think how they would treat the food of customers they appear to be biased against.

Travelling back through Ryde late morning, on my way to Ventnor, I'd had to forego breakfast back on the mainland as my favourite place was closed. Consequently I urgently needed sustenance on my journey home. I used Tripadvisor to select this place, and it certainly lived up to its billing as the place to go in Ryde! It's quirky with its beautiful curved doors and 'outside toilet' (which is as well fitted out as the cafe itself) and the staff are lovely. I slotted myself onto one of the few spare tables in the sunny window and enjoyed a decaf cappuccino plus delicious bubble & squeak, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes for brunch. They have various plant-based milks and the odd vegan option too, so something for everyone, served with a smile. Highly recommended!

It was noisy, the seats were uncomfortable and the coffee average. We planned to have coffee and lunch here but no sooner had we been served coffee, than we were asked to place our lunch order. It was only 11.10 so we said we'd like to enjoy our coffee first and then order. Minutes later, a second member of staff came to take our lunch order. We explained we would be eating lunch but would like a little longer to enjoy our coffee. At 11.25, when we were asked a third time to order, we decided to leave. I'm a local and had hoped I'd found a nice new venue for coffee but the atmosphere and hassling staff have put me off.

We were shown to a lovely table up at the back and although the cafe was all booked up the atmosphere was buzzy but not over crowded. There's enough space between tables not to be over bearing at all. In fact it was lovely to see and hear other people all enjoying the atmosphere and banter of the lovely ladies serving us. They were efficient but so warm and friendly as well, as others have said it's almost like we knew them for ages.

No.64 will always be my go-to cafe in Ryde! Sally, Jo, Maria and Andy make every visit warm, cosy, delicious (best food in Ryde!) and uplifting. I recommend anything off the menu, the specials are always fantastic, and their chai latte is my favourite.

This place is amazing the staff are all wonderful and you can expect a warm welcome whether you are on your own or a group. The food is outstanding and caters for all dietary requirements. We had the frittata and the root veg soup on the specials board they were both full of flavour and delicious. The place was really busy but they squeezed us in - best to book if there are a few of you - you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely time at Number 64. We were greeted on arrival like old friends and made to feel extremely welcome. The ladies were very helpful and chatty. Service was quick and the tea and cakes lovely. They also sell a few little items like candles and wooden items. Most of the cakes were gluten free and dairy free milk alternatives were also available. We would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely cafe.

As 2 places with the same name, so not sure if this is the same place we went to , near the police department in Newport. This cafe is owned by a super friendly and funny Irish lady who came there in the 90’s and didn’t leave. I’ve never had such a delicious breakfast, as the menu was so different. My friends had some favorites from Ireland and we were all so impressed. I asked her to come to Long Island and set up shop there. There will be lines around the block.

As Aussies we are critical of coffee as our culture is addicted to it. Here we had a coffee we were amazingly thrilled with. It was a REAL COFFEE with flavour, depth, texture and truly made with love thank you Emma for creating the best coffee we have had in the entirety of the UK xx

The staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. We went with my elderly, disabled parents, and they couldn’t do enough for us. The home-made cakes are to die for and the view. I could’ve sat there for ever.
