I’ve dined at Kohinoor many times since discovering it back in 2022 but I hadn’t had a takeaway until last night.
I can confirm that their food is just as lovely to take away as it is when you eat in. The garlic chilli chicken I had was one of the best I’ve ever had and the portion sizes are massive!
Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Southampton without a doubt. Love it here
I’ve been coming to Fifi’s for years, and since they transitioned to a pizzeria, I’m happy to say the quality of the food has remained exceptional. Their pizzas are absolutely lovely, with a thick Neapolitan-style base and fresh, great-tasting ingredients.
They also offer a fantastic lunchtime deal that’s excellent value and even includes a glass of wine. For those who need it, their gluten-free pizza bases are delicious too!
The staff are always friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome every time. They even bring colouring activities for the kids, which is such a thoughtful touch.
Highly recommend Fifi’s for great food and a family-friendly atmosphere!
We had a lovely lunch for my sister’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and the meal was tasty. The pub is off the beaten track but it’s worth the trip. Whilst we were there there was a sizeable herd of wild deer in the field opposite. A great country pub!
Had forgotten just how good breakfast at Munch is. Thoroughly enjoyed our full English. Great quality, plenty to eat and good value too. Lovely staff as well. Will be back soon.
Food is amazing and next level customer service! All hospitality establishments should look to these guys for tips as they go above and beyond every time I’ve been. Highly recommend!
Phenomenal lunch; the best service and food we had during two weeks in the UK, and one of the best value meals too!
Lucked into this place on a day trip from London (the only day of the week it would have been open for lunch), and were thrilled we did. Among three of us we had a lamb steak, polish sausage, vienna-style shnitzel, cocktails and cider, and everything was excellent. Server was friendly, helpful, and very honest (including warning us that there was only one chef cooking everything -- which meant about a 15 minute delay in food).
The environment is cleverly decorated -- not my style, but it does the theme well -- but whether you're into witchcraft or just craft food and drinks, this place is a must!
The best meal out we've had as a family. Service was great, they were able to cope with our various food intolerances including gluten free, dairy free and soya free and the food was DELICIOUS.
Great pizza! We've been coming here for ages and we've never been disappointed. The food is great and the staff is more than friendly. It's the best Italian restaurant in town and you can find the traditional food in the original Italian ambience. I very much recommend it.
Excellent restaurant
Excellent food
We visited on the worst day of the year, and immediately we were greeted with smiling friendly waiters/es.
We could tell how good this place is, because all the guests seemed to know the staff.
Food was as hoped for.
Could not finish everything, but the doggie bag was well received on returning home.
Excellent menu choice, the Chefs dish of the day was beautiful. Salmon encrusted with potato, samphire, broccoli spears and sauce, the desert of chocolate bread and butter pudding was heavenly.
First red flag should have been the fact we were the only table from 7pm on a Friday night.
Ordered arranchini to start - worst I’ve ever had. Barely any risotto rice inside, very hard on the outside and small portion size. Main of monkfish from the specials menu was nice, however so overpriced and would not have ordered it had I clocked the price. Again, Tiramisu for dessert - worst I’ve ever had. I’m not sure how you can mess up tiramisu but they have managed it, Borderline watery, no thickness to the mascarpone cream, did not finish it.
This was one of the most expensive meals I have had out, and sadly the standard was sub par. So many great Italians out there, more keenly priced.
Once we paid and left, within 5 minutes the doors were shut, lights out. Clearly the only table they were expecting, Note the Italian next door was very busy and this was still the case once we left at 9pm - as it should be on a Friday evening.
Personally I would avoid.
If we could put an 11 out of 10 we would do. From the moment we were greeted at the door and coats taken to the friendly waitress who took us to our table and and gave us just excellent service. We started with a beer and expresso coffee while sitting and choosing what to have off the menu. Just to say every thing we chose looked good and was very tasty including a very nice bottle of wine. Plus we didn't feel rushed when we had our coffees at the end of our meal just a brilliant evening. Plus our friendly waitress sings and plays in a local band. Called Peachy Keen . They are good. Just a lovely evening we shall be back. Ken.Cindy

Superb place if you want a decent meal for a good price served by excellent and understanding staff. It makes such a rare find to get a restaurant like this now days. I had roast beef and it was lovely. And it had PROPER roast potatoes too !! My partner had Half rack of ribs and it was no effort from the staff to change the menu as SHE WANTED !! Well done leah and Charlotte . Great service !
Booked and paid a £30 deposit for lunch on Easter Sunday only to turn up to find the restaurant closed with a closed until further notice sign on the door. No message from them to inform us. DO Not Book with this restaurant wherever they are now.
