West Green, Crawley
11/12/2018: Had a lovely evening here. Staff are keen to please. Food was very nice. Lovely ambience. We go back time and time again, we are never disappointed.
11/12/2018: Tasty thai dishes with good house wine. Well prepared food. Pleasant staff. Worth a visit, good ambiance

Tookta's Cafe

Regency, Brighton and Hove
26/11/2018: We had mussels and fish cakes to start, then a pad Thai and beef matsuman curry. Unable to fault anything, one of the best meals we’ve had in a restaurant. Very reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly and chatty. We’re just gutted we live hours away from Brighton and won’t be able to go back any time soon! Outstanding restaurant!
No volveré.

Narai Thai Palace

High Street, Maidstone
15/12/2018: Lovely lunchtime menu. Food was delicious, well presented and well priced. Will definately be going back to try some of the other dishes
12/12/2018: Visited on 10/12 Monday evening around 8oclock. Can’t fault the food. It’s always excellent but we experienced very poor front of service. The lady seemed to be the in charge of front of house made us feel very unwelcome and wore very rudely shown our table. Rushed to take the food order even I clearly said we need more time and not ready.most annoying thing was we were asked to put down the order number in the pad for her. There was other young lady who was very pleasant and took care of our drinks and looked after us but our evening was spoilt because of the other waitress . Service with a smile will go well with their delicious food!!!

Oli's Thai

Holywell,St Mary's, Oxford, 20-30£
13/12/2018: My husband and I had lunch here for the first time earlier this week and what a wonderful surprise. Firstly, the service was utterly charming and secondly the food was delicious - what more could we ask for? We're already looking forward to our next visit.
12/12/2018: I am not even a foodie person but this restaurant put paid to that... the food was simply sublime... the duck succulent and the rice just so.. the starters were spicy but not overly so... in fact just right... the staff were lovely and accommodating and I simply didn’t want to leave... for anyone lucky enough to get a booking you will not be sorry... I am now off to try and book another date... frankly any date as the food here is worth the wait... Enjoy

The Thai Corner Restaurant

Dibden and Hythe East, New Forest, 20-30£
29/12/2018: We visited as a party of a 8 for a Christmas evening meal. The atmosphere was nice and the food was amazing as always. We were served promptly and the wine continued to flow, there was no waiting. All of our party agreed the food was great and we had a variety of dishes. Can't wait to return in the New Year.
11/12/2018: Went as a party of 4 and had prawn crackers to start (£2) and a lunch main. I had sweet and sour chicken with jasmine rice (£7.50). Really good portion and very tasty. The rice was beautiful and the waiter was very attentive. Excellent service, food and price. I will be back.

Boulevard Bookshop and Thai Cafe

Old Hastings, Hastings
06/01/2019: I took two friends from out of town here and it blew us all away. Firstly, the atmosphere and setting is cosy and quirky - we loved being nestled amongst the books. Our server Charlie was an absolute delight! He was very friendly and professional, as well as knowledgeable about the menu. He was even kind enough to provide ice for our BYOG (bring your own gin!). Charlie recommended the massaman, which was the special, so all three of us ordered it (two chicken and one tofu). It was absolutely delicious, slow cooked and very flavourful. My friend has travelled all over Asia but commented that this was the best chicken she'd ever had. We also had the prawn crackers, veggie spring rolls and chicken satay which we all very much enjoyed. We were greeted by the chef at the end of the meal, which was a lovely touch. One small comment is that it's very narrow and the toilet is tiny, which all adds to the cosy atmosphere, but which could make it trickier for those who struggle to get around.
31/12/2018: Such a brilliant idea. The food is exceptional, the menu is so basic, but each dish we had was brilliant. The waitresses were absolutely lovely, incredibly diligent, thoughtful and helpful (we went 30/12). Very reasonably priced, and we all agreed that it is a great kept secret which needs to be shared.

Thai Four Two

Burham, Eccles and Wouldham, Tonbridge and Malling, 20-30£
31/12/2018: The waiters were friendly and unobtrusive. The food was excellent and authentic. The table was nicely presented with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The starters were to die for, we could not decide between the fried wantons the crispy spring rolls or the samosas as to which were the best. The mains were exquisite, the crispy duck pancakes were fantastic with plenty of pancakes and carefully prepared accompanying veg. The green curry was great with enough chilli heat without loosing the flavors.
19/12/2018: Love this place, always ask for a meal with no red or green peppers and they accommodate this, great lunch menu that is reasonably priced

Thai Street Food

Central, Worthing, <20£
01/01/2019: We went a few months ago for a meal out and it was abosuletly amazing. Had the squid to start off with which was delicious and seasoned very well. We ordered 4 different mains which I tried them all, and all tasted amazing and fresh.
22/12/2018: The food here is delicious. The smell as you wander in is divine. I had sweetcorn fritters which were really good and a Thai curry. The meat could have done with a little seasoning but the curry was great and really tasty. The service was car crash but I don't get bothered by these things. I was given a table which hasn't been cleared away, my starter was delivered to the wrong table and my main arrived as I was eating my starter. The table next to me had to be moved due to a double booking. The poor owner look fraught as she tried to organise her staff. The man serving drinks was really nice. Great food but if you go here patience and a sense of humour needed with regard to service.

Kai's Kitchen

Park, Tunbridge Wells
01/12/2018: Now this place really surprised me. My wife kept telling me there was s cafe almost opposite Tunbridge Wells rail station, and I kept replying, “No way!” That’s because Kai’s Kitchen morphs from a Thai restaurant in the evenings into a great British brunch establishment during the day. It’s a kinda hectic place. It has lots of regulars that are quite evident by being welcomed by name. Now being basically a Thai-run place, you’d expect little intricate details in a British lunchtime meal and you wouldn’t be disappointed. Our jacket potatoes came with lettuce, carrot spirals and some white vegetable spirals (probably cabbage or turnip maybe?) and with 2 beautifully crafted decorative carrot flowers. Now you don’t often see that in your average greasy spoon, do you? The spuds were cooked perfectly and my chilli con crane was perfectly spicy. And at less than a fiver, brilliant. £13.85 for 2 filled spuds and tea and a coffee. And in ROYAL Tunbridge Wells too! And right there opposite the station. What’s not to like? They do panini, breakfasts, sandwiches, you name a Thai menu if that’s your lunchtime desire. As I say it’s a busy, hectic place but clean, good service and nicely decorated.’s hard to find unless you really look for it. But take my advice.....go look! It’s well worth stopping by. We’ll certainly make it a regular stop next time we shop in TW.
19/11/2018: Small place with most tables reserved when we went for Saturday lunch - so book. Very friendly. I thought that the food was very good - I had a great noodle soup, my wife had a Pad Thai. My children are both Thai food aficionados and they both said it was very good. Recommend.

Sabaidee Thai Restaurant

Meads, Eastbourne, <20£
03/12/2018: Visiting Eastbourne, wanted Thai. Welcome, service, food, value (not inexpensive, but quality). Just had to go the next evening to try more. Who’d have thought such great wine came out of Thailand.
26/11/2018: Delightful Thai restaurant near to seafront and close to theatres. Attentive service and reasonable prices. Very busy, so pays to book in advance if possible. Wide range of authentic Thai dishes. My only reason for not giving five stars is that I asked for my dish not to include chilli as I have a digestion problem and the waitress said it would be no problem, but the dish arrived with pieces of chilli anyway. It was not a great problem, as i was able to push them to one side.

East Dean, Wealden
01/12/2018: The food in this restaurant is just amazing. Never had a disappointing dish.
31/10/2018: Had a nice lunch here - we had the prawns, followed by the duck salad and sweet and sour prawns with egg fried rice. It was enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient. We especially enjoyed the palette cleansers between each course.

The Pond

St. Peter's and North Laine, Brighton and Hove
02/12/2018: A great atmosphere. Amazing staff. Beer choice fab and the food so different but so tasty a venue not to be missed

The Suan Thai Restaurant

Abbey, Test Valley, 20-30£
22/12/2018: Went here last night with 5 friends and again was not disappointed. The food again was exceptional as
06/11/2018: Do not hesitate to come here for a meal or a take away.

Zen Garden

Brockenhurst and Forest South East, New Forest, 20-30£
14/11/2018: Had a delicious Thai taster meal and recommended bottle of English wine on Tuesday night. The staff Presh and Rebecca were very friendly and attentive
10/11/2018: Great for lunch or evening meal, although quite expensive, but probably the cheaper of the three restaurants here. Not overly impressed with the cooked breakfast though.

Anissa's Thai Kitchen

Lyndhurst, New Forest
16/12/2018: Went for the two course lunch special. As usual the food was very good. Only minor grip was the vegetable tempura was slightly greasy today (normally lovely and dry) but everything else was excellent. Really good value for money with good, friendly service.
11/12/2018: I love anissas kitchen. Nothing is too difficult for them and they care about the food they serve you which is always amazing.
