The sad news is you no longer get ice cream with the set menu, the good news is the food is still fantastic. Wide selection of beers as next doubles up as a bar plus other things. Come early or book, we've always arrived early, 630pm ish. When we leave it's quite full. The food is really tasty.

We ate here for the last night of our holiday in Hamble and it was a perfect end to our week. Staff were absolutely brilliant- so attentive and friendly, especially with our little girl, even giving her free ice cream, which made for a lovely relaxing evening all round. Food was also delicious and we’ll definitely visit again next time we’re in Hamble. Thanks so much

We had a take away meal which was the best Thai meal we have ever had. Very friendly and helpful staff would, definitely recommend.

Never had Thai before so this was the perfect place to pop my Thai cherry on a date with a local. (I'm not from this area) Absolutely gorgeous food, staff were lovely and very helpful, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. My memories of this fantastic restaurant will last way longer than my dating experience with said local but hey it was totally worth it for the gorgeous beef noodles. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

Called in at Thaiger Lounge last night (Sunday) and had a lovely meal, warm welcome, nice atmosphere, sublime Thai food and how nice that they serve a little later in to the evening which is a rare thing these days on a Sunday. Thank you

Only have good things to say about this restaurant. Staff is super accommodating and the food is delicious. I would recommend trying the ‘giggling’ squid, my fave 🌺

Good food a tad expensive but really tasty

When visiting Port Hamble Marina by boat, the 4 of us decided to try Thaiger lounge for dinner. We'd been told it was decent food by a friend who'd eaten there some months previous. We weren't disappointed. The food was flavoursome and authentic and the service friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing Find. This tardis of a restaurant looks quite small from the outside but is spacious and comfortable. This hosts were friendly and welcoming with a great sense of humour but most of all the food was absolutely delicious. Than you for a great night. We will definitely be back 😋

We are regulars here. I have never had a bad meal or experience. The food is clearly freshly made. It is so clean and fresh every time. Great place for couples, friends and even kids. You won’t be disappointed.

I have lived locally for over 5+ years and have never eaten at Thaiger Lounge. My family and I decided to get a take away on New Years Eve and we were all blown away. The food is fantastic. Not oily and delicious. Very pleasant staff and faultless service. Will be back.

Fabulous authentic Thai restaurant in Hamble le Rice. Food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Quick service despite it being a busy night for covers and takeaways. If you are in the area it’s a “ must visit” restaurant.

Had our first visit to Thaiger Lounge last night, for a birthday dinner followed by a party. Great food: it was the best massaman I’ve eaten outside of Thailand, and we loved the starters. Fabulous manager (owner?) and team. Efficient, fun and friendly. Easy parking across the road. We look forward to returning.

Always fantastic food here! I am a returning local customer. Not always the most quietest if it's a weekend and an event is on in Boomerang have people walking through..but it is worth it for the grub, favourite Thai in Southampton. Crispy beef and the mixed starter are always requested!

We live locally and love visiting Thaiger Lounge. It is family run which really shows in the care and attention that the customers receive. The food, service and atmosphere is the best and we always feel a sense of occasion, from family parties, work socials, to a chilly Tuesday evening when we can't be bothered to cook...! The food is reasonably priced and authentic, and obviously cooked fresh as any requests we have made are always accommodated with a smile. We love the bar too and the selection of drinks on draft is great. Can't really say enough good things about this place, we always feel welcome and part of the family when we visit, it really is an example of what great local hospitality can be.

First class! The food was amazing, the best thai green curry I have ever had, we were a group of four and all of our meals were really lovely. Highly recommend

I visited with my young daughter and the food and service were outstanding. The place is very clean and the lady that served us was attentive in just the right way, friendly and was able to recommend dishes to our taste. I noticed there were a few lone diners who the lady made feel very welcome and they appeared to be regulars which is always a good sign. Really good welcoming family atmosphere. If you like Thai food, this place is a must visit. The flavours are perfection and weird to say but the food tastes clean. No grease- just packed full of flavour. The guy running the bar was also really friendly and was able to recommend a great wine to compliment my food. Will definitely be back and recommending it to family and friends.

Food was decent came out pretty quickly. However didn’t like the fact the women’s kept touching my 8 week old sons face and Leo continuously touching him with dirty hands. She was quite rude to be honest.

I only pop in on my own for a soup and a glass of water while my girl is at her class up the road. Nothing is too much bother. Keep on saying I’ll try something new from the menu but I just keep on having Tom Yum soup with extra chicken… it’s lush!

Friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our visit. Help provided with the menu choices if needed and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Food arrived promptly, and the quality of every item was superb. Whilst all the food was amazing, the standout dish, for both my wife and myself, was the Crispy Chilli Chicken starter. Location - amazing Food - amazing Staff - amazing Would we eat here again? Without a doubt, next time we are in the area we will be back.

I very rarely leave reviews especially negative ones but thought this might be useful. My wife and I visited last night on arrival we waited an hour before our starter order was taken when our starters did arrive it looked like they had been thrown together and some of the chicken was raw. The takeaway side of the restaurant seemed to be taking priority over the seated guests. This is an honest review of our experience.

We had an fantastic meal with the family last night at Thaiger Lounge. We were soon sat at our table and drinks ordered whilst perusing the menu. The nice thing here is that you choose the meal and also what meat, seafood, vegetable or tofu you want in it as well as the level of heat you want, so theres a wide range of choices and flavours with each dish. The lady taking our order was very friendly and engaging and chatted to us about the various dishes, sizes , options and deserves a special mention, throughout the service she was excellent and made the visit more than just about the food. Starters chosen and very quickly arrived and we tucked in. I decided on a hot and sour Tom Yum soup as my starter with chicken and it was delicious. Bursting with flavour and lots of lovely chicken pieces in it, it was excellent. Other starters of chicken satay, crispy shredded beef and sweetcorn cakes were also equally delicious I am told and not much was left on anyone plates. Mains next after a reasonable time, our waitress did chivvy the kitchen along without being prompted, but the delay was not excessive at all, and my duck tamarind with sticky rice was sensational. The duck was nicely crispy on the outside but juicy inside and the sauce complemented the fattiness of the duck superbly. Portion size is just about right and again all other members of our group had different mains and all agreed they were excellent. Overall a fabulous meal, served in a professional and friendly way, I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone and I have no doubt we will go back. Hamble itself is also a nice little spot with plenty of pubs if you fancy a beer afterwards.

I live in London and have come twice to Thaiger because I sometimes come to the area for work. First, the food is unbelievable! This quality of homemade Thai food is very uncommon in England (and specially in London) so having this in here is a privilege. And for the price they offer it! Soooooo worth it! Second, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive! I felt like I was spoiled with the level of care and friendliness from the waiters. And third, the place is very cosy! I was with a colleague and they placed us next to the fireplace. I love rustic environments and sitting on a restaurant with nice food and charming people it just rounds up to an amazing evening. Anyone who lives nearby or anyone who is visiting: YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT!

We went here mid week and a great time to go and had open fire which was lovely. Range of dishes to choose from then pick your meat/ fish to go with it. Also ask how spicy/ hot you would like it which is a nice touch. Portions were ample, especially the starters, could share one between two. Service was friendly and great. Definitely worth a visit.

Short walk from the Marina, busy on a Sunday evening, didn’t book but were so accommodating (we were lucky) food and wine we couldn’t fault, together with the best service we have experienced in the Hamble - well done Thaiger Lounge!

Lovely food with friendly service. We shared starters of squid, duck rolls and satay chicken which have all been mentioned in previous reviews, they did not disappoint us. We then had the tiger steak, very tasty and a duck dish both served with sticky rice....

Absolutely fabulous. 6 of us eating and not a single disappointment. Very wide selection of options, all tasted great with a wonderful depth of flavour. My personal favourites were the Duck pancake roles for starters, though the squid came a close second, and the Tamerind Duck for main. All of the staff were friendly and attentive if I wanted to find fault with anything it was the slim line tonic 😀
