Very tasty red vegetable curry and coconut rice! The sweetcorn fritters were too deep fried for me, but still nice. Good service and a warm atmosphere although a tiny little place, I'll definitely try eating in next time.

We visited chiang-mai for dinner and everything was spot on, the food was delicious and the service was great. Unfortunately there is some dishes which the portion size wasn’t big but it wasn’t an issue as the food was so tasty.

We came here by chance over the weekend whilst we waited for our train home and were so glad we came! We were greeted by our friendly waitress and got us seated straightaway even though it was a Friday and busy but managed to squeeze us in. We only had thai food a handful of times so wasnt particularly knowledgable with thai food. She recommended us the prawn crackers for nibbles while we go through the menu. She recommended weeping steak tiger and tamarind duck and penang curry as were not very good with spice. We had the mix starter and webt ahead with her recommendations. Im so happy with her food choices to cater our preferences. The food is the best thai food i had. Im so glad our train was delayed and came across this restaurant. Our drinks were always full and our waitress is very attentive and we even had a few giggles here and there. Big thanks to her and the chefs for the amazing food and service we had! We will definitely be back even if it means travelling for 4hrs!

I had a lovely 3 course meal. The food was tasty and well presented. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere relaxing.

Came for a birthday celebration. Food was amazing and service was amazing from Abbie. Our drinks was never empty. Food came out amazing - squid and curry was really good. One of the best hidden family owned gem in southampton. Will recommend and come back soon! Only little hiccup was we thought the chicken satay was raw but was reassured quickly that it was the fatty bit of chicken and was kindly offered a new one!

We had Saturday night dinner here, Jan 2024, great welcome and service all night. Food was fantastic, fresh and tasty. Tom Yum soup was hot & spicy, all curries had good amount of meat & vegetables.

Absolutely cracking little place. A real taste of Thailand tucked away in Chandlers Ford. Small in size but 5hat only adds to the atmosphere, great food at a great price. 2 of us had a sharing platter, 2 mains and 3 beers for under £50 😎

Cold plates to start with anyone ringing up for an order will get faster than you sitting at a table the place could be good if they did not do delivery service but to be fair to them that's probably better for them .

Shame on you Chiang-Mai. Having read the nice reviews I was very much looking forward to having my Thai green papaya salad take away tonight. The meagre portion on the photo, half of a small take away tub with an old desiccated piece if lime cost 7.95. You also had the cheek to conveniently forget the 10% take away discount and say you would remember me next time and take it off my bill. You refused to give me this in writing. It is not the insignificant amount that matters, it is the impression you leave in your customer. I was going to try you out and was planning to take my family to your establishment for dinner but I am sorry but after tonight’s experience I don’t trust you. Shame on you.

We were staying in the Village hotel and due to the lack of vegetarian options and high prices we came here. What a great decision!! The food was excellent and the staff very very attentive and went out of their way to make sure everything was right. Wish I didn't live so far away so I could visit this place regularly. I f you are lucky enough to live close by try it, you will definitely not be disappointed.

This is literally the best Thai restaurant in this area, however, never order takeaway for collection or otherwise on a Saturday night as the result is watery, tasteless rubbish with any special requirements ignored. I get that Saturday is their busiest sit down night, but reputation resides with the entire customer base. Order for takeaway on any other night and it will be perfect

Oh dear. What had happened to your portion sizes? We have been loyal customers since you opened and now you are a joke. Absolute rip off. I see we are not the only ones with this view. So disappointing you have decided to scam your loyal customers. Small businesses like you should rely on repeat business but you clearly don't. Won't be back sadly.

After reading their menu description of their massamun curry: Massamun curry Your choice of meat stewed in massamun curry paste and rich coconut milk with onion, potato and peanuts. Garnished with crispy onion. I decided to order this as a takeaway, sadly the curry was grey (massamum paste appears as red/orange in all the pictures so I expected it to be a similar colour to a red Thai curry) there was just a couple of pieces of chicken, two potatoes no peanuts and no garnish! Definitely not recommended. A heads up about the duck curry the duck has the skin on which is soggy and inedible. I am a returning customer but not sure that I will use them again.

Authentic and amazing Thai food at very reasonable prices! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, and each one had clearly been made with such care and attention to every ingredient. Tender prawn tempura, flavourful Thai spicy sausage, chicken in a delicious garlic and pepper sauce and last but not least the incredible weeping tiger- the beef was perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. What a delight to find such a charming restaurant in our area! Thank you for a delicious meal and great service we will be back.

Absolutely delicious but the portion sizes were laughable. We ordered the mixed platter to take away and it was like something out of honey I shrunk the kids. You know it's bad when it doesn't even fill half of a tupperware. My pad thai was also a miniscule portion and literally half the amount we get from our normal Thai. Food tasted great so main feedback would be portion sizes need significantly adjusting!

Absolutely Fantastic place for food, I have quite a few things that I'm not allowed to eat due to dietary restriction from medical conditions and I was able to find a meal here. Eaten dinner twice here in the past few weeks and absolutely loved the chicken satay with egg fried rice. 👌 Friendly and hardworking staff, lovely to talk to.

First time visiting here. Really nice little restaurant, from starters to dessert everything was really nice. Really tucked away so it's nice to find little gems like this. Tried to add a tip and the waiter said no need as there is already a service charge. Never seen that happen at any other restaurant that has service charge, so was pleasantly surprised 🙂 Will worth visit if you are in the area.

We have been regular customers of this restaurant for years until today when the owner was both rude and unprofessional whilst taking an order. We both work in hospitality and know this is not the way to treat customers if you want to keep a successful business in these difficult times. Over the last few weeks the food standards have certainly been slipping. Smaller portions, poor chewy chicken and fatty ribs that have been inedible at times but we’ve always given them the benefit of the doubt because up until today the staff have always been friendly. You have lost valued customers today and we will be telling all our local friends about our experience and will urge them to go elsewhere. I also hope others read this review and see that some places do not deserve our hard earned money. Learn some manners or go into another job because hospitality clearly isn’t for you.

This places is tucked away in a small shopping precinct which is not so attractive a location, but the food is really authentic and the staff were really attentive. Good choice on menu and really tasty, well prepared authentic food! Would recommend if you are in the area.

I began with the less spicy of the two soups, Tom Yum (I think), with chicken. It is much woo salty and I asked for it to be remade without any added salt. It was better the second time. Certainly the chicken was delicious. My main cause was King Prawn stir-fry, with egg fried rice. This was delicious with 5 large prawns and a very tasty liquors. All the vegetables were very crisp and fresh. My wife enjoyed her duck Pad Thai. We drank Jasmine tea and that was fine, keeping hot throughout the meal.

Collected a takeaway for a belated birthday yesterday, very disappointing food, so bland no spices, learnt that the Restuarant had changed hands. Used to be very tasty food with the previous owners, helpings were not generous either.

Delicious food in a really friendly atmosphere

Absolutely delicious food, well worth a trip if you're in the area. It's a small authentic restaurant inside the complex just off the street, and the staff were all very friendly. The homemade Thai sausages were fantastic, as was the Tom Yum. We had the beef pepper stir fry and the mixed seafood, with the broccoli in oyster sauce side and it was all so good we could've eaten it all again! We'll definitely go back. Small notes: they don't take AMEX (normal) and the seats aren't particularly comfy but you'll be distracted by the food anyway.

A really great Thai restaurant that has recently changed hands to some great owners! The food is extremely nice with some traditional Northern Thai dishes. They are always happy to adapt dishes to individual requirements, which is nice! The only reason I'm putting 4/5 is that a selection of the starters are externally purchased and the overall prices are quite expensive. I will certainly be a returning customer!

Love their dumplings and Pad Thai

Our favourite restaurant in Chandlers Ford. Food is always delicious and the all the guys working there are extremely attentive and nice. I am unfortunately gluten intolerant and have always had bad experiences with Chinese and Thai restaurants because of soy sauce cross-contamination(I get instant physical reaction). But this place is different. They are always extremely careful because of my intolerance and make most dishes(whenever possible) gluten-free for me. Their GF Pad Thai is absolutely amazing, all stir fries, curries and starters are super delicious. Service is always impeccable and takeaways during lockdown are a nice treat - food is warm, quickly prepared and portions are quite good.

Really looking forward to our NYE meal this evening spent £90 honestly the worst takeaway we’ve ever had. Congealed rice, so much fat on the weeping tiger beef dish, left half of it. No heat in the dishes that should have had spice. Shame because we’ve eaten there in the past but never ordered a takeaway. Has really summed up 2020 what a shame. You are definitely overpriced and the quality was poor 😕
