Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead, 20-30£
18/08/2018: I have to say that was one of the best meals out we've had for a while. But made even better by the excellent staff. The tagine was lovely, my son (12) loved the burger and my girls (8 and 9) shared a chicken brocette. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the kids helping them making good choices from the traditional menu.
17/08/2018: As we expected the service and food was really lovely. We hadn’t been for about a year, but the food was as good as we remembered it and the staff were really friendly and smiley.

Al Fassia Restaurant

2 offers
Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead, >100£
28/08/2018: Nous y etions en famille hier soir. Ce fut un regal. Le couscous est a tomber. Les plats servis en « tajine » egalement. Tout le monde a ete ravi de son choix. Excellentissime. Des hotes accueillants et souriants. A faire sans hesiter. Un petit clein d’oeil au Maroc
27/08/2018: As a group of 8 we were 'told' by the waiter that groups have meze. We had to ask what that was, so were given menus reluctantly. With one vegan amongst us and one with vinegar allergy (myself) we asked to choose from the main menu instead. I don't think that was what the restaurant wanted.

Le Kesh

Holywell,St Mary's, Oxford
25/08/2018: Had a wonderful supper here 2 nights ago, excellent service, tasty food, good portions, reasonable cost, what,s not to like We will return here when we next visit Oxford This restaurant is well worth the walk up Cowley road from the centre of Oxford
22/08/2018: A huge thank you to the staff - there was an electricity shortcut on Cowley road and they still managed to serve some food and drinks for more than 8 people. Since I made a booking, we were allowed to order some food - the cold starters were absolutely delicious, we were offered free drinks as an apology, which was a really nice gesture. Everything was quite hectic, which is not a surprise - you cannot expect a power cut to affect your business for so long. Despite of the situation, we really enjoyed our visit and I will definitely be back to try other dishes from the menu!

Bendula Bar & Restaurant

Ryde North West, Isle of Wight
20/08/2018: Wow - what an amazing place. A fabulous warm welcome,so friendly and utterly delicious home cooked food and very authentic. Loved the Sunday buffet and so reasonable - Jerk chicken, wings, goat curry, rice and peas, vegetables in peanut sauce, salad etc. Fantastic family run restaurant and will visit again soon and bring friends xxxx
18/08/2018: What a super place. Even though it might not look much from the outside- the food and staff are superb. Great atmosphere Warning that food might take a while but that only proves that it’s freshly cooked

Mama Putt's African Caribbean Restaurant

Central St Leonards, Hastings, <20£
15/08/2018: Decided to visit Mama Putts for a week night meal as had heard good things and the menu looked interesting. The decor is fresh and modern, the waitress was welcoming, friendly and efficient and the food was tasty. Had the goat curry and jerk chicken and could recommend both! All-in-all, a good evening and well worth a visit.
11/08/2018: All the Tripadvisor reviews are true - this place is excellent. We ordered the goat curry and beef stew dishes and both were delicious. I’d highly recommend this place for couples or small groups. Can’t comment on vegetarian options but there were certainly quite a few on the menu. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to assist us. Well worth a visit.

Regency, Brighton and Hove
15/07/2018: We have visited this restaurant on several occasions over the last few years when holidaying in Hove from Kent. The food has always been good and flavoursome and usually served in traditional terracotta tagines. On this occasion the food was served in smaller metal tagines (probabaly easier to wash up!) and the food lacked the usual authentic moroccan flavours compared to what we have been served in the past. Also, the belly dancer was on holiday!
02/06/2018: Restaurant is very inviting and characterful with fabric drapes from ceiling , patterned copper tables , candles, North African patterned cushions on benches and seats. The staff were incredibly friendly and relaxed but efficient too. We shared 2 starters between the 3 of us - dips/pitta bread were tasty esp the baba ganush and beetroot dips - also the merguez sausages were flavoursome.

GOGO's Waterfront Restaurant

Clewer North, Windsor and Maidenhead, <20£
18/08/2018: This is a lovely restaurant situated on Windsor Marina so it's a great spot to watch the sun go down over the boats whilst enjoying a delicious cocktail. The food is absolutely delicious (steaks, burgers and amazing ribs) and the service is warm and friendly. My only very small gripe is that the tables are rather close together but when the restaurant is as bustling as this one is it's not surprising! Great evening out!
13/08/2018: This was our first time at Gogo's and before I arrived I went onto here to check out reviews..unfortunately Gogo's had received some bad reviews, and it does seem like the whole table left a bad one as they all said more or less the same at first glance seeing quite a few bad ones in a row made me worried that I had made a wrong choice as it was for a birthday as well. However this was not the case.. we were very impressed! Service, food and drinks were great.. it is a bit on the pricier side but the portions are big, so are the cocktails! restaurant was packed! I would recommend coming here..don't be put off by previous bad reviews

Nando's - Windsor

Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead, 20-30£
27/07/2018: We were in U.K. for soccer when we bumped into friends from our group on our way back to our hotel. We ended up taking the train with them into Windsor to take a quick peak of the castle. We then looked for a place to eat. It was too late for pubs with kids in tow so I suggested Nandos. We eat at Nandos in the DC area often and had Nandos earlier in the day at Kings Cross. It was fun introducing friends to Nandos. We had a large table at the front of the restaurant next to the window with a view of the castle. The best thing is plentiful ice and fountain drinks which were refreshing and hard to come by in the UK. We always stick to the bone in chicken and vary our sides. The medium is hot enough for me. Great service as usual. We love Nandos
22/07/2018: Came here on a busy Sunday afternoon and was seated quite quickly. Everything was fine, ordering, service , price was all good value. Tasty chicken, loved the coleslaw. Will return.

Abbey, Wycombe, <20£
09/08/2018: Amazingly easy freshly cooked food by friendly nice people in a beautifully clean environment - food made with love! Highly recommend the specials and BBQ vegan burger ( even though Im not vegan) and the delicious Viungo dusted chips yum yum yum
03/08/2018: I'll be honest I've walked pass this restaurant loads and never stopped, today we did. As soon as we walked in we received a warm friendly welcome. Took our time looking over the menu. We both ordered different burgers, jungle fries and wing. OMG, that's the best burger I've had in yrs, tasted like a proper burger should, then there's the jungle fries, a meal in it's self, loaded with slaw, cheese and jalapenos, all to die for. Go in hungry, come out stuffed. Couldn't tell you about the desserts as I was to full to even look. This place is a total gem. I WILL be going back!

Tutu's Ethiopian Table at The Global Cafe

Katesgrove, Reading, <20£
16/08/2018: The whole thing was an experience from start to finish. There is parking at the rear of the restaurant about six spaces (yellow) are free, some more are permit only and the rest are pay by phone. Two hours parking cost just £1.80.
13/07/2018: We decided to go here for a meal. An excellent stocked bar, friendly people and amazing food, light and tasty. Good value and recommend the pancakes and the sharing platter. Nice people and good fun - with be decor you imagine you are in Ethiopia.

The Blue Man

St. Peter's and North Laine, Brighton and Hove, 20-30£
03/07/2018: We had a stroll through lanes in Brighton and found this great little restaurant by chance, we had a great meal, both had the lamb tagine which was excellent, with reasonable prices, will look forward to visiting again.
04/06/2018: We came here to meet some friends who had recommended it. There was no space upstairs so we went down the stairs to the more chilled area which has lots of low tables and stool-type chairs. I would have preferred slightly higher tables in this area but it had a good feel for drinks. There was a a small menu available but it had a a good variety of options. The potatoes and cheese dumplings really are a must! We also really enjoyed the chicken wrap. The staff are really friendly and helpful and made the visit a delight.

The King & Queen Pub

Hamble-le-Rice and Butlocks Heath, Eastleigh, <20£
26/08/2018: We came across this charming pub by chance, while visiting the area. First visit coincided with a lovely sunny day, so took advantage of their garden. Staff were really friendly and service was quick and very attentive. Had two fussy eaters in the group and both found something on the menu they really enjoyed (one had pancakes!). Enjoyed the whole experience so much we returned the next day for Sunday lunch with two more in our party! Even though it was raining, the atmosphere was still great and welcoming. Huge servings of roast dinners, which everyone enjoyed. Definitely would recommend and hoping to return some day, whatever the weather.
11/08/2018: Myself and a couple of friends were visiting Hamble for an afternoon catch up...We stumbled upon the The King and Queen pub. Our First impression was how nice it looked...we ordered our drinks then sat in the garden as there was no free seating inside. We then tried to order some food...we were told that they weren’t taking anymore food orders, so we sat down on a table to finish our drinks and wait for things to calm down. We were then asked if we could sit somewhere else as there were only 3 of we then sat back outside on our original table to find a member of staff taking food orders on the tables around us. I got his attention and mentioned we told that no food orders were being taken...he rudely replied “they got here first” all in all we were not made to feel very seems that you have to be a local to experience any sort of service!

Queen Victoria

Shalford, Guildford, >100£
20/06/2018: Newly refurbished to a good standard. Plenty of choices and variety on the menu, at reasonable prices. Although there were only 2 members of staff dealing with 2 x walking groups, the service and food were both good. I would recommend.
20/06/2018: En route from Brighton to visit my brother in hospital in Guildford we stopped here for a little lunch first. It was lovely, a nice place to walk the dogs first and then a huge menu with lots of small dishes which suited both of us. Dogs were made very welcome and if it was a bit nearer I would be a regular. We need a pub as nice as this near Brighton!

Regency, Brighton and Hove
05/08/2018: We stumbled upon this gem on way back from seafront. It's not licensed, so we had to pop over road for a bottle of vino. Food is excellent, service is cool, prices are right. What are you waiting for? Get to Brighton and experience!
09/07/2018: We went there in july 2nd. We starter , mains and rice . Falafel was the nicest! And their hot chilli sauce was brilliant! Mix grill was ok and good portion of rice ! If you are a spicy lover ask them to recommend something spicy! The curry on the picture looks nice but taste was average. I guess the vegetables were just boiled and nicely decorated on the top which looks brilliant on the table! Service was alright! I am happy with the restaurant service and food but I would not ask for recommendation from waiter there again rather i will take something on my own. I might try again!

The Snail Restaurant and Bar

Seal and Weald, Sevenoaks, 30-45£
06/10/2017: What a shame - sadly it is now closed. We used to enjoy meals here in the summer and winter but now its all empty. We hope someone else takes it over.
20/09/2017: Nice location out in the countryside. We had some very nice pub food at very good price and will come back again soon.
