Have been to shoal many times and what is fabulous the food is as amazing every time cooked to perfection. Batter that melts on your tongue simple delicious 😋 the staff always very polite and it’s spotlessly clean . A real treat .

Lovely independent restaurant. We had three tapas dishes - the cauliflower, whipped feta and crispy aubergine and all were totally delicious. But we were delighted when the paella for two arrived. It was beautifully cooked and rich with muscles, soft white fish and huge and numerous shell on prawns. It was so delicious and amazing value at £15 each. The staff were extremely friendly. It made our weekend.

I have recently decided to try Veganism but like most Vegans I don't like to talk about it ;-) Looking for Vegan food of high quality in Eastbourne, is fairly difficult. A few restaurants offer "vegan options" but that usually means taking the ham or chicken out of something and hoping that will do. Not acceptable these days. So we tried Green Bros. It's hidden away from the centre of town but not really that far, behind the Grand Hotel. The guys here are very passionate about their food and also friendly and knowledgeable. They will even tell you how they make things if they have time. The food was great and the wine, reasonable. If you are unsure about the Vegan thing...have the Doner Kebab. It's epic! (And fully Vegan...tell everyone!)

Best food in Andover, authentic Indian taste, nice atmosphere and good table service. Recommended ghati lamb, prawn Koliwada and paneer tikka.

My sister and I took our Mum for her 91st birthday. Staff were so kind and afternoon tea excellent. All made her a very special birthday. The memorabilia brought back many memories for her. Thankyou so much.

The rustic yet contemporary setting provided a comfortable and intimate environment for a leisurely meal. Our service was impeccable from the moment we were seated. The waitress who attended to us, whose name was Val, was an epitome of professionalism and courtesy. With poise and efficiency, Val took our orders with an attentive ear to our preferences, displaying an admirable balance of attentiveness without encroaching upon our dining experience. It was clear from her demeanor that she was well-versed in the menu, offering insightful recommendations when necessary. For my friend, who exhibited a taste for the finer aspects of Italian cuisine, a portion of câpres was ordered. The câpres arrived promptly and was presented with the grace one would expect from a fine dining establishment. The dish was served with precision, each caper displaying a vibrant hue and a distinct burst of flavor that only the most carefully sourced ingredients could provide. The capers were fresh, briny, and offered a delightful tang that paired beautifully with the other elements of the meal. As for myself, I opted for the simplest of selections—a glass of water. While such a choice may seem unassuming, it was, in its own way, indicative of the restaurant's commitment to perfection in all aspects of dining. The water was crisp and served at an ideal temperature, showcasing the establishment’s attention to detail even in the most modest of orders. A small, yet essential detail, the glass was impeccably clean, with no residue or smudges, which further exemplified the restaurant's high standards. Throughout the meal, Val’s service remained outstanding. A Regular for lunch always a good choice friendly prompt service the hot one sandwich is a firm favourite and delicious!

All the dishes we had were delicious. The homemade garlic mayonnaise was amazing! Really enjoyed the mushroom croquettes and the calamari. Great service too!

Incredible food, relaxed atmosphere. Well earned 5 stars. Balance of flavours was great. And the the wine pairings were on point too.

We have dined at Marleys for many years, a friendly restaurant serving great food. The menu is a refreshing change from the usual fare. But on our last visit we were shocked at the price of a bottle of wine !! We will continue dining at Marleys but restrict ourselves to wine by the glass or beer.
