We had a great evening. I absolutely love this place, very nice atmosphere, spotless clean and pizzas are the best in town. I love when my pizza is crispy. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend it 👌

I went to the pizzeria yesterday. The staff were so nice, kind, and helpful. They always had a smile on their face and very welcoming. The pizza I got was the best Italian pizza I have ever had. I had a conversation with the owner and he told me that he brings all the ingredients from Italy. That’s why their pizza is very unique. I had also a cup of cappuccino with my friend and it was delicious. I like it!! Highly recommended if you want to go out of a pizza or a coffee with friends or family.

Always come here with friends and family, it is genuinely the best pizza in Brighton (maybe even the uk). The staff have always gone above and beyond anytime I have been there. Would highly recommend the margherita pizza!!

These pizzas are just perfect every time. The base is delicious and always done just right - no soggy bottoms here. The toppings use the best quality ingredients and combinations balanced just right. It's also unexpectedly pleasant if you choose to sit in and the staff are charming.

I cannot recommend History Pizza enough! These have to be the best pizzas in Brighton and Hove, and we’ve been to enough places to stand by that! Everything on the menu is delicious. Our favorites are the Vegetarian and Salmon pizzas, and the tiramisu to finish is sublime! The finest level of customer service you’ll ever find in a pizzeria caps off a wonderful experience!

An amazing little pizzeria. We stopped in tonight on a recommendation and we weren’t disappointed. We were looked after by Michele who was delightful. He was helpful and informative and made us feel very welcome. The service was impeccable, As was the food. We both had a diavola which we were warned was spicy and it was. It was delicious, a really well made pizza. I can’t fault the experience from start to finish. Well worth a visit. This is going to be a regular stop for us from now on.

im a professional chef 🧑‍🍳 i have a business in st james’s street my self in the same city as these guys, and i only say this because the words that im about to say are truly honest, this was the best pizza dough that i have ever had in brighton, i dont know who was working in the kitchen but i definitely knew that the guy was a maestro on his food, the buffalo mozzarella was fresh and delicious and the pizza dough was delicious absolutely delicious and the service was sweet and down to earth 🌍 thank you a million times

Went here last night. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. However the pizza is definitely isn’t worth the 5 star reviews found on Google. It was soggy and the toppings slid right off. Overall we had a nice time but can find better pizza places in the area and would not return.

As someone that does live italy this is truly some good authentic pizza the crust was really thin and crispy the sauce was delicious and the ingredients stayed on the pizza and were really fresh. The selection of drinks was really diverse and had a lot of italian drinks. Staff and athmosphere were amazing really good place i would definetly recommend probably the best pizza in brighton. Very good, light and crispy dough, with perfect leopard spotting on the bottom. Owner is very friendly and has a history in baking. Burrata is very tasty as well. Lots of love and passion in the food 5 stars

Full house of 5 stars for these boys! This place makes you feel alive! From the smiley welcomes as you enter - to the divine pizzas - to the wonderful, attentive service - to the very clever use of spice… Spicy pizzas can often be such a let down. But mine was just perfect - still dreaming of that dreamy Diavolo🌶 infact! It’s the addition of that chilli Nduja sausage?! Don’t know what they did to it - but I want more!! Gorgeous smiles from all the boys and love the story of the brothers too. History pizza is a fitting name indeed.. leaves you curious to know more.. Very fair corkage too and lovely ambiance, decor and vibe in the restaurant. Cosy as! And it’s overlooking one of the best squares in Hove too! Palmiera Square heaven baby.. tables outside too for al fresco which we’ll have to try next.. You guys are just lovely humans, well done! New favourite spot hands down. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had, 100% the best in Brighton. The dough is to die for and the ingredients they use are top notch. The guys here are lovely and always have good banter; me and my boyfriend keep coming back. Super highly recommended by a native Brightonian.

Such a lovely and welcoming place! My pizza was delicious and the waiter was so attentive and cheery, my friend and I felt very looked after as soon as we walked in to when we left! You can really tell how passionate these guys are with creating the best pizzas and environment - will 100% be back :)

Absolutely delicious pizza in the near center of Brighton. The owner is born and bred Italian. Plus, with his expert experience in bread making, it allows his pizzas to be extremely scrumptious. Furthermore, the 72 hour sourdough rising time allows the pizza to be light on the stomach, even if intolerant to gluten! The restaurant is airy and intimate, perfect for an outing with partners or friends. And the staff are so lovely, Micaël was super amicable towards all the customers. If you are from and around Brighton, I definitely recommend that you give this place a visit!

IMO Brighton’s top pizzeria. Crispy, lighter style Roman pizza. A small pizzeria (about 12 covers), so reserve if you want to eat in. BYO! Wonderful homemade Tiramisu too! Friendly staff. Run by Italians, unlike many others in Brighton.

Lets keep this short and simple: Best pizza in Brighton and it's not even close. Best service, they are both lovely and always find time to have a conversation with you. It's a small place with limited seating and shockingly enough I cant believe its not packed all day everyday. The crust and pizza is thin and crispy using the best ingredients around. Keep up the amazing work, I will be back again and again.

Had to leave a review as had my third delivery pizza from History and it is without doubt the best pizza I have had outside of Naples! I used to like VIP but this is far superior! The dough is unlike other pizzas you want to eat all of it including the crust, top quality ingredients and even the tiramisu is excellent, authentic and homemade.

Had a long day up in London and popped in history before collapsing at my door. H told me to write an honest review, so here it is: H, that calzone gave me life. The special cheese too, boiii… We go often, and the pizza here always on point.. But today reconfirmed why we love history, thank you H.

One of the best pizza I ate in my life ,great test of peperoni ,jalapeno and the dough is excellent , fantastic esspreso .Our son had Foccacia and vanilla milk shake ,he want to go back when we going to visit Brighton again .

Came here today after passing by many a time thinking the pizzas looked great. Best pizza I have had in this town. Lovely people running this gem and the pizzas did not disappoint. Only disappointment was that I had no room to try the home made tiramisu. There will definitely be a next time. Highly recommend this local business. Bonus is it is also BYO.

We've eaten here and also had pizza on deliveroo. The pizza romana is quality, and if you haven't had it before it's a crispier base than the neapolitan pizzas you'll get around Brighton. Our favourite pizza in Brighton at the moment! In the restaurant the service was great and friendly, and we'll be back for sure.

What an incredible spot, finally got a chance to stop by today after passing the restaurant everyday on my way to work and thinking how good it looks, absolutely incredible pizza, the best me and my girlfriend had ever had, we had a margarita with olive pate and I’ve never been so blown away by a quick lunch in all my life, absolutely Devine crust, amazing sauce, super fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection, lovely char on the bottom of the pizza works so well with the sweet tomato sauce. Huge shoutout to the guys there as well, both lovely people, will be returning soon (most likely again this week) can’t wish these guys enough success!

Truly amazing, from the second we walked in the door we felt as if we had been transported into an authentic, Italian, family run kitchen. The staff made it seem as if they were so happy to have us there, to experience there cooking with them, and the food was truly incredible. I find it so hard to find a decent pizza, there are so many chains that are always sub par with above par prices, but history pizzeria was spot on; the food, the price, and the service was amazing. We’re not the type to leave a review but we felt they deserve it, and other should know how great it is too.

This place gives me warm memories of my time in Italy. This pizzeria has such a cute and traditional decor. The customer service is amazing the waiter went above and beyond and made my whole dining experience amazing. Now about the food, the pizza was the best I had outside of Italy. I have tried pizzas around the UK and globally and nothing compares to the ones in Italy but this one is exactly like those in Italy.

Had pizza here for the first time today with my family and the (I think) owner said it would be the best pizza we ever had and he was definitely right! It was delicious, really tasty, fresh, felt like we were in a real Italian decent pizzeria. Excellent, friendly service, we’ll be back!

Beautiful location, lovely small restaurant. The staff are amazing and really care about the love and passion they put into the business. One of the best pizzas I have eaten in Britain. Submitting orders and receiving customers is the most wonderful thing. The restaurant is also beautiful and beautifully decorated.

We popped in here for a late lunch after walking along church street trying to find somewhere for pizza. We were both pleasantly surprised at how great it was. The food was amazing and felt very authentic and the prices were fantastic. But the thing that stood out the most was the service. The young man serving us was really welcoming and helpful and gave really attentive service. I would definitely recommend the place and we will for sure be back again.

Like somewhere you’d find in a Roman neighbourhood. Authentically Italian - run and staffed by authentic Italians! Pizzas are textbook… crispy, unctuously delicious and prepared and cooked fresh to order. Big too - make sure you are hungry. Daily pasta specials which we are yet to try as the pizza is SO superb. At time of writing it’s BYO, there’s a Tesco across the road and several shops nearby. Excellent and friendly service. A couple of seats outside, small, neat and welcoming tables inside. Delicious and rich traditional Italian pastries and cakes for dessert.

Crazy pizza! The pizza was Sooo good I accidentally went to the restaurant and it was the best pizza experience in Brighton. Prices are so reasonable, and a server and the chef are soooo kind. It is small restaurant buteverything was better than other big restaurants. The chef came out of the kichen to check if everything's fine I'm sure this restaurant will be definitely famous more than it is now. I'll definitely be coming back again!!

Delicious little pizzeria. Very authentic pizza with lots of different options on the menu. I tried a honey, smoked cheese, and nut pizza and it was fantastic. The staff are super friendly and half to assist if you want to add toppings to your pizza. I paid £13 for my pizza, an affordable dinner out!

Service great, food great, atmosphere great, restaurant great. There is not a single bad thing about History Pizzeria. It was mine and my brothers birthday and we didnt plan anything but the staff gave us a completely free tiramasu as a cake! The staff here are so kind, probably the best pizza in sussex in my opinion.

This "hole in the wall" goes on my list as one of Brighton and Hove's very best pizza restaurants, especially if you like the Romona style! And, a wonderfully welcoming owner/chef!

We came across History Pizza a bit by accident, but what a find! Fabulous for lunch with super helpful staff and fantastic (and generous) pizza portions. The guy behind the counter (owner/chef) was incredibly friendly and the pizza is to die for! I am Pretty sure that the ambience of the restaurant would hold up to lunch or dinner and the intimacy of the restaurant would appeal to all tastes - well done History Pizza, you are doing things perfectly!
