The best restaurants serving American food in South East

Sam catered for my wedding this summer and we could not have been more pleased with the service we received. Not to mention that the food was exceptionally delicious and I ‘should’ know I am a chef as are both of my brother in laws. The food was incredible and exceptional value, Sam was easy to deal with in the run up, punctual and is just a lovely, lovely guy. If you like smokey American style BBQ then look no further. I think they offer the best cream tea in Shoreham - yummy. Gorgeous sunny courtyard and a free biscuit for the dog!

Popped in for a weekday lunch whilst in the area, we had the Mac n cheese and a lasagne which were both delicious. It was so nice to have a warm lunch to take away that wasn't a burger meal! The coffee was really good quality too, will definitely return. Thank you!

Always have AMAZING drinks and food here. Staff are always so attentive and nice. The lovely lady in there always makes conversation and compliments me! Love going there, and always trying new things!

We went in to pick up some food as part of the good to go app, staff were friendly and had an amazing choice of donuts which tasted excellent.

A few friends and family members recommended this relatively new 'van' eatery, and now I know why 😀 I opted for Aberdeen Angus slow smoked brisket, homemade mac 'n' cheese and fries with a south American shake on them 😋 The brisket had a gorgeous external flavour whilst the fat had rendered down nicely leaving just the everso soft meat, which was perfect. The mac & cheese was flavoursome whilst not to dry, and the fries were rich & spicy. You can order online or turn up and wait, but we warned, they do sell out. Fridays is always in Catherington Lane whilst their other plots in the week include Hayling Island Hardware store & Clanfield football ground. This was perfect south American, texts style BBQ food...loved it

You should try this place .I've been a few times it's always great food , awesome wings and plenty of choice. Get on it !!!!

Only ordered from these guys because the Deliveroo fee wasn’t stupid like the other well known chains. I have to say I think that is the best burger I have had in years. Even the chips were decent. Can’t believe I’ve lived in Seaford for 4 years and never tried this place. I’ll be a regular now.

We decided to have a pre-cinema drink and we’re pleased that they had exactly what we wanted. A great place for theatre or cinema.

We heard of Jon through the Guildford Butchery (which is also a hidden gem). I ordered the Reubens People Co. Chilli Con Carne seasoning kit, and the House Rub. I can safely say that the seasoning kit led to the BEST chilli con carne I have had. The flavours had punch, the heat was perfect, and the kit itself was greta fun to put together. The experience itself was over and above what I expected. Jon is onto a winner with Reubens People Co. and I can't wait to try out the House Rub and Jerk Seasoning next!

My partner and I have ordered food from Ginger Rookes a couple of times throughout the pandemic. Without a shadow of a doubt the BEST food we've eaten this year. Ran by the a super chill & friendly guy who is king of the bbq, we can't get enough of his amazing food and generous portion sizes. The ribs in particular are something else. Can't recommend highly enough.
