Corn Exchange Kitchen & Bar in West Berkshire

Booked to have dinner at The Herd for my husband’s 50th birthday. It was the first time that we have been to The Herd and were very impressed with the food. Gigi performs her magic, by cooking your steak in eye-shot. We asked for our chateaubriand to be medium-rare and it was perfect, which does not always happen in some places. Was well worth the visit and will definitely be back. The only negative, was that the room was a bit chilly when we arrived.

Food excellent, nice quiet atmosphere and not overly expensive. Would recommend as for some reason the place was empty on a Friday night. I have visited other restaurants in Pangbourne and have always found it the best place to eat in the village.

So started coming here as my local has been unreliable in terms of stock and opening hours. Staff are great, beer is excellent and live TV sports is a bonus.
