Excellent food, with very friendly and attentive service. Hidden gem behind deceptive facade.

I chose the roast lamb with all the trimmings. It was very tasty, lots of deliciously flavoured gravy, the roast potatoes were fluffy inside and just the right amount of crispiness on the outside, and the vegetable were a perfect selection parnsips, carrots, beans and peas. I came here with my family for Father's day, my dad and sister enjoyed their anti pasti selection of cold meats, olives, bread and a portion of chips. And a beautiful lemon tart to finish off with. Service was excellent, very professional waitress, was very attentive to our table. We will definitely come again!!

Very poor experience in this Restaurant À la carte menu where they don’t even know what fish they are serving or where it’s from definitely not fresh, we ask the waitress what fish it was and the reply was the chef said it’s white fish, also the waitress told us the fish just comes in and we put beer batter on it . The menu said fish and chips the meal arrived fish and French fries which must come in a massive sack. The worst mushy peas I’ve ever tasted . In a good quality restaurant, I would expect a widget in my beer glass. 2 out of four of us were ill within an hour.

Our family of 9 had Sunday lunch for a special birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, every dish was excellent. The young lady who was our waitress was very good and attentive. We will be back and thoroughly recommend

Me and my friends went to Dulce Domum for dinner and it was great, staff were friendly, the atmosphere was nice, we ordered some cocktails aswell and they were great too. Will be coming back.

Along with the delicious food, the management and staff support will catch your attention. I have the best dining experience with this place. i will definitely visit again.

A group of us had a lovely 3 course meal from the Festive menu. The food was cooked to perfection. Excellent and attentive service, nothing was too much. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for looking after us so well. Highly recommend!

We ate here on a Saturday evening and initially thought we'd made a mistake, as on arrival we were the only ones in the restaurant. However not to worry, as all went well with our meals and a group of 4 others arrived shortly after, who also appeared to enjoy their meals. I had a meat almighty pizza and my wife a chicken stroganoff and both were delicious and left us regretting ordering the (yummy) garlic mushrooms starters, as we struggled to eat it all and I ended up taking some of my pizza home for lunch the next day. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and service & food were prompt.

We ate here for Mother’s Day. We both had the Lamb roast dinner which was amazing, the meat was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly.

Had a late booking on Good Friday evening with my wife after a last minute change of plans. Lovely restaurant had an antipasto’s to start and then beef bourguignon and a stuffed chicken breast. Both mains were great and couldn’t fault them. Didn’t have a desert as was full so just a coffee to finish. Staff were lovely and polite. Great restaurant super food will be coming back

Popped in for lunch today and had a great experience. It was very quiet apart from one large family group but our order was taken quickly and, despite being after the large group, they clearly prioritised getting our sandwiches out before the large party. The fish finger sandwich and roast veg panini were fresh and delicious. We ordered chips on the side as well but actually, not needed as the food was really substantial. The setting was really pretty and comfortable and we will most definitely be back.

The place was nice, the staff were good. Love the drink but didn’t like the food at all. I had the lamb. The starter was alright tho.

The room and the staff were nice. Unfortunately the food was not up to scratch. My slow cooked lamb was very tough and chewy.

Food was nice my partner did find some plastic in her food and was told to go online to resolve the issue which hasn't been resolved.

Have had two meals here recently with my Auntie and Uncle who live in Pangbourne and they were superb. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the lamb starter and the 10oz steak was perfectly cooked. Will come again!

Such an interesting blend of flavours on the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my prawn cocktail and the rump on the stone. Would highly recommend!

Superb lunch with friends in this hidden gem in Pangbourne. Situated behind the George Hotel. Food was delicious and service friendly. Would highly recommend.

Superb food great staff drinks a bit pricey

I don't want to write nice words about this place simply because of selfishness. I want to keep this place hidden for me so. I am kidding obviously. Now seriously. We were looking for a new special place to celebrate our 16th anniversary of wedding day. The service, the decoration, the location, the quality of the food was top notch. It is very rear for the chef to be really good with variety of cuisines. The chef amazing made seafood, really nice stuffed prawns and 3 different types of amazing steaks 🥩. We also have had deserts which was amazing & yummy 😋! We all were happy with the food and service. We will definitely going back again for special occasions.

Friendly staff and the food was top-notch!

First visit to Dolce Donum today with a friend I had not seen in ages, and we will definitely be coming back. First impressions, Beautiful set up, lovely ambience making it a lovely treat. Loved the "wind in the willows" influence. We had a lovely waitress, Rita. The food was amazing, full of flavour, generous helpings and we complimented it with delicious mocktails (driving). Highly recommended

My boyfriend and I had booked a table for Saturday night, however due to poor management, they had double booked without letting us know. We arrived and there was a party that had taken over the whole bar. We are extremely disappointed and put a massive downer on our evening.

Lovely food, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Delicious, well presented food of a very high standard. Definitely recommend.

Food really good service excellent - all round quality - only thing i'd possibly recommend at this time ' with social distancing etc is not to put customers on table right where ' people from bar walk through door to gain access to toilets in corner of restaurant area !! i would highly recommended this restaurant service and food brilliant

Let me talk about the ambience first. I loved the decor and it gives you a lovely feeling entering the restaurant. Owners are so welcoming and very passionate to treat us at their best. Food was amazing and presentation was good too. The staff was very welcoming and it was a quick service. I enjoyed every bit of everything 💕

When we booked we asked if there was disabled parking and we were told yes,but there is no disabled parking, no alcohol free beer as listed on the drinks list, both things disappointing but food and service very good.

The service was exquisite. We ordered the seafood platter and were stunned at the range of food and how fresh it seemed! Bread was incredibly tasty too. Rita was brilliant in serving us and we enjoyed our time tremendously! Also the restaurant manager had probably one of best service abilities I’ve ever seen! Richie was the absolute best! Highly recommended.
