Zeno is lovely. The food is top quality Italian and the service is second to none. Under 18’s are by law not allowed to consume alcohol in the UK. By asking that a minor is served wine in a catering establishment you put the staff in an awkward position. The result may very well be that they “are not happy”.

The tables have a lot of space and you will never be similar to other people because all the space you want to be comfortable and thanks to the sea is really very kind starting from Maurizio up to Jessica and zero.The Italian welcome was sold at the first moment when I arrived at the entrance, I would be welcomed and you will be pampered until you leave by all the staff who are always smiling and thoughtful and very preparedThe atmosphere is calm silent. But if you need a quiet dinner, where to eat, taste or talk to your fellow diners? This is the right place, all the food is very fresh, there is nothing frozen, most of the recipes include dishes prepared from waste inside the restaurant or in any case from artisanal producersPlease note that the entrance is accessible to people with disabilities for whom there is a special companion. I'm not sure what happened this evening at Zeno. We took our 16 year old grandson to Zenos in Horley to celebrate the end of his GCSEs. Our waitress Jess challenged us when we asked if he may have a small glass of red wine with his dinner (his parents had ok'd this) and from that point onwards her attitude towards us was surly and abrupt - bordering on contemptuous. She made us all feel most uncomfortable - to the extent that we will not be returning to this restaurant. The food was great - but this precious time with our grandson was marred by the unacceptable reception and service we received by this waitress.

This place is a gem. Amazing food. Friendly and lovely waiters and waitresses. Walked here from the holiday inn hotel having arrived for a flight the next day. Beautiful place. Wish we lived nearer!! Highly recommended.

Zeno has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited so far. No word of a lie.The pizza they serve here is absolutely delicious.I come twice or three times a week here and it’s fantastic. P.s. What a lovely evening. one of the best evenings in a long time impeccable service not to mention the best food and lasagna I have ever eaten. not to mention the kindness of the owner who offered us the dessert and limoncello at the end of the evening.fair prices. Incredible food and a great ambiance. Jessica, a waitress working there currently, needs a raise. She’s absolutely wonderful, and very hardworking. She made me a birthday tiramisu without being asked to, which was lovely, and charmed everyone. The restaurant gives a feeling of both a family meal and a elegant dining area, which we all loved, and we would definitely go again!

Came for dinner with my family for my younger sister’s birthday. We were all overwhelmed by the high standards of all of our starters and mains. The birthday song also made our nights. Would absolutely come again!

Inpromptu visit to Horley, our daughter told us about this restaurant , delighted by the bright inviting interior with sumptuous velvet club chairs and crisp white napkins. The waiter was very friendly and was delighted I chose negroni as it was his favourite aperitif (and mine! ) The food was excellent and served super hot. The wait was slower than expected but was cooked fresh so we didn't mind. Prices comparable to other restaurants if not bit cheaper. Really recommend this lovely Italian restaurant.

Last night my husband and I celebrated his birthday and as his only request was to have scallops for dinner, it led to me booking us a table at Zeno"s and we were certainly not disappointed.It was our first time eating in this restaurant and we couldn't fault a thing,the service, ambience and food were all excellent and the restaurant including the toilets were spotlessly clean.For starters my husband of course had the scallops and I had the aranchi balls, both of which delicious. Likewise for our mains of chicken and bacon in a cream and mushroom sauce and prawn and scallop ravioli and our desserts were just as good, all of the food was seasoned just right and delicious and they have a great drinks menu too not to mention really comfortable chairs.All in all, this was the best dining experience we've had in a long time and although it was our first visit to this restaurant, it will certainly not be our last.Table booking is recommended as there is a reason why this restaurant is so popular.

Wonderful meal, collected as a takeaway due to current covid restrictions. Both my Daughter and I were extremely impressed with the bruschetta, best we have had. My Rissoto is so big that it will last me two days. My daughter ordered the margarita pizza and is so impressed that I have been told we will be going back soon.Great food and great value for money. I cannot praise this delivery enough (via Just Eat). Bang on time, piping hot, really good portions and absolutely delicious. It was fine dining at home. Will definitely order again and will be back in the restaurant as soon as it reopens for visitors.

Had an amazing takeaway from these guys last night (via Uber eats actually). Food was delicious. It made a real change from all the normal takeaways which we have become a little bored with after months of lockdown. Portions were great, it was all tasty, food arrived hot - and will definitely use again. I now can’t wait for restaurants to re-open so we can actually visit them in person. If you fancy something different from the normal curry, fish, Indian etc etc - definitely do it - you won’t regret it!

We just had a takeaway from Zeno, what a gem! Delicious food, piping hot even by the time we got it home. Generous portions for sure, even with a pot of grated Parmesan for our pasta dishes! Such friendly staff. Will definitely be ordering again!

This is a friendly restaurant with reasonable food, but arrived on Saturday 5th December to half empty space, set out safely and securely except for a table of six with 3 couples who do not live together all dining together, against the rules. Thereafter restaurant was taking walk ins, no track and trace and extra tables being set up. Worse to come on Sunday, was told by dog walking colleague that 22 of his family all took tables for lunch. Don't wreck your reputation Zeno, just please be sensible.Regular of Zeno's

I live in Holland Park but been staying and caring for parents during lock down in April to date. Attended Zeno today (not my first time) and food was great and very generous portions. Complimentary Lemon-cello and Tiramisu is a tribute to Zeno and his staff during these difficult times when they must be struggling financially. I never write reviews (indeed this is my first) but after tonight felt important to support local community restaurants like Zeno.

Lovely restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious.We ordered pizzas which were freshly made from scratch - we know this as one of us (me) does not like mushrooms, but we wanted to share both pizzas, so specifically asked if they would put the mushrooms just on one side of that pizza. Without question they obliged. They also recommended a wine as we couldn’t decide, and had intended to have just the one glass! So we had a Cianti. So lovely, we had another!!! Relaxed atmosphere, didn’t feel rushed, authentic Italian food. Will be returning again and again!

We popped into Horley on a rainy Wednesday evening for dinner before we flew out on holiday the next day. We found Zeno an amazing authentic Italian restaurant - a great start to the holiday. The Pizzas were very good, good base with a lovely texture and flavour and good fresh toppings. The wine list was good too, for those who say it is expensive the wines are good quality Italian wines, not cheap house wine.If we are travelling from Gatwick again, Zeno will be top of our list for a pre-trip meal.

I visited here last week with some friends. The food was excellent. I had the spicy chicken pasta which was lovely. We were given some complementary cheesy garlic bread which was so good. The staff were also so nice. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but him and Jessica were both so helpful and friendly. Such a nice little restauraunt. Can't wait to visit again

Zeno served me and my friends with a great experience, we were served by jess who was extremely friendly and helpful. They have spectacular cocktails and are very generous with the alcohol. The food for me and all 6 of my friends was amazing we were all blown away by the flavours. Would greatly recommend

Me and my boyfriend came in this restaurant because one of my colleagues at work advised me to go. Jessica was super friendly, she welcomed us,she advised us regarding the dishes, and she was the perfect sponsor and face for the good quality of this place,explaining us that the pasta, pizza, bread,were all homemade. I opted for a pizza with salami,my boyfriend for a fresh pasta with fresh fish. We had a starter of cheeses and prosciutto and salami, and everything was delicious. Jessica advised us regarding wines - local and italian bottled wines - and in the very end we had an amazing homemade tiramisu. The italian owner came at our table as well and for a moment we felt we were in Italy 100 per cent. The atmosphere is cosy, you feel very welcome like they can do very well in Italy. I will go again for sure.The best quality ever of food. :)))))

Great authentic menu, fresh food. Staff are friendly and happy to change menu for fussy eaters (liek my other half). Food cooked to perfection and a good price. Wine a little expensive but atmosphere is great. Good live music nights too. Pizza takeout are great too.

We love going to Zeno's! The food is always superb, the advice on wine excellent and the atmosphere always lovely. It is absolutely the best restaurant in Horley for a special occasion, but also not so pricey that you can't treat yourself to a midweek night out once in a while! We shall be back again soon! x

I took my wife here for a meal, we arrived at 7.30 and the restaurant was busy. We had a lovely time, the food was delicious and the service was brilliant! They so good and really friendly. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

From the moment we were welcomed at the door to the point where we were leaving, we had an excellent experience. The menu was original and all the food we had was tasty and quite delicious. Good house wine and attentive service all added to making this a very good choice for the one night we were staying in Horley.

My husband and I visited a few weeks ago. We told the waiting staff we were vegan which seemed to confuse them. So they called the chef to chat to us and he was brilliant. We had a lovely bruschetta to start, and penne with lots of fresh veggies in tomato sauce to follow. Then a fab surprise when we got the very reasonable bill.

Me and my fiance visited here on the way to Gatwick. We are not usually one for leaving reviews but felt this was completely deserved!

I had the arancini for a starter and it was delicious followed by the venetian liver as a main and I was blown away The last time I had venetian liver was whilst I was on holiday in Venice and this was a very close second. Would highly recommend. Staff were attentive too.

We visited this restaurant after a return flight into Gatwick. Having been here before we knew what to expect but we think it may have changed ownership since our last visit. The standards are still as high.

Had an amazing meal here. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I had a pizza with fennel sausage and gorgonzola. My husband enjoyed his chicken dish too. The house red wine was superb and the cheeseboard was the best we have ever had

Found Zeno via Trip Advisor for a meet up with friends who were on route to New Zealand. Zeno lived up to the reviews on all positive counts. The staff were friendly, fun and helpful and the food was excellent for all of us (and we all chose different mains). We were made to feel so welcome!

Came here with friends for dinner. Two of us had lasagna, that was enormous and tasty, and neither could finish it. The butter sauteed spinach could have used a touch more garlic, but was delicious nonetheless.

The food here is incredibly good especially pasta dishes like their lasagne. I live locally and would definitely come back as a regular here because of the food. However I have been on three occasions and the restaurant has no atmosphere. It’s big, open, bright which is something you almost don’t want in an Italian restaurant but the worst thing has got to be the music which comes out of two huge speakers. It is so off putting as it’s too loud and the choice of music just isn’t akin to something you’d expect.

Having frequented the same local pub for many years before each holiday & receiving poor food quality before it closed due to a kitchen fire , we decided it was time for a change anyway & walked down into Horley from Springwood guesthouse to Zenos restaurant and we were delighted with our choice. The food was fantastic starting with whitebait, calamari & prawns & garlic bread with cheese, chicken, gorgonzola & walnuts and a lasagne for the mains, tiramisu for desert washed down with a shsred bottle of frascati. The variety of authentic Italian dishes was vast, could have had any number of dishes. The service we received from Daniel at Zenos was fantastic and much appreciated nothing was too much trouble without being overbearing & we had a laugh with him over waiting 10 mins 4 desert & he kept looking at his watch at 8, 9, 10 minutes then told him he was late by 30 seconds....he was great. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Zenos , just don't become too popular that we can't book a table before our next holiday !!!

Visited this restaurant as a last minute decision and we were not disappointed. The menu was fabulous with a great selection of authentic Italian dishes and a very large selection of wine available. Each dish was very nice, we had the traditional lasagna, pheasant tagliatelle and salmon and prawn penne. The service was attentive without being over baring. The owner is very thoughtful and talked to us at the end of our meal about his recent menu changes and how we felt they were, would definitely recommend!!

We were so pleased. We were stuck at a nearby hotel for an early morning flight out of Gatwick. It had been a long day of travel, and we wanted a good meal for my son’s birthday. We found Zeno’s on Triadvisor. We got there at 8:30 pm and were the only guests. The service was wonderful, food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. A family came in after us at 9 and were treated just as well. Perfect.

Best Italian in Horley. The staff are very friendly especially Alex (Alfie) who went out of his way to provide us with the dish which was not there on the menu. We have been going there almost every alternate weekend to relish their tasty dishes and experience the best service.

Good stopover on the way to the airport. Open seven days a week. Friendly welcome and no waiting. Good quality food with a range from standard Italian to pizza.

We were recommended this restaurant while staying at a local B&B; before flying out the following day. We were not disappointed. The venue is nicely decorated and the staff very friendly and helpful. The meal we had could not be faulted and would recommend.

We stopped nearby in the Gatwick Belmont hotel the evening before going on holidays, so we went for a few drink in the local pub ‘The Foresters’ for a few drinks with the locals (we had a laugh) and decided to go here with a chance for a table for two, the staff are lovely and very welcoming, the food was delicious, I had the T bone steak topped with Gorgonzola cheese, cooked to my taste and it was perfect, and not too expensive either! (I couldn’t finish it) my wife attempted their calzone, again delicious but unable to finish it, (and I couldn’t help her as I was about to burst!

A lovely place to dine. Nice ambiance, friendly and capable waitstaff and the menu full of lovely suggestions. The penne arrabiata was not as spicy as I expected but after a few bites I found it had a softer more delicate spiciness that was delicious. Would definitely go again!

Algunas veces la vida te da sorpresas asombrosos. Despues de cuatro dias en Londres, una semana en Croacia, otra en Napoles y cuatro dias en Tuscania (Lazio) decidimos pasar una noche en Horley para descansar antes de nuestro regreso a Buenos Aires. Nos dijeron en el alojamiento que la ciudad estaba cerca y fuimos caminando, Lo primero que vimos fue Zeno... Somos fanaticos de la comida italiana asi que entramos y el ambiente nos atrapo. La musica, la gente...y la comida, Esta al nivel de los mejores restoranes italianos que visite y la atencion es excelente. No fuimos a otro restoran en la zona pero no se si iriamos, Nos hubiera gustado volver! Gracias estimada gente de Zeno. Son la esencia de la Italia que amamos...

Staying locally and very tired from a long journey, we hoped for a pleasant meal. Zeno exceeded our expectations. A warm welcome, a delicious meal served with smiles and a very reasonable bill- very definitely recommended.

I was not looking forward to a night at an airport hotel but I was determined to get out of crappy hotel food. A quick tripadvisor search found this place 20 minutes away and offering 241 on Dine card. The tomato and mozzarella starter was fantastic as were the pizzas. My calabrese was beautifully cooked and delicious. Amazing quality and great value thank you!!

Went to have a dinner before the flight home. The restaurant was very cozy. They offer all the Italian classics and we had a three course dinner for a very decent price. Staff was very nice and all the food tasted amazing. Would love to come back!
