Zizzi - Banstead in Reigate and Banstead

Had a lovely dinner out with my family to celebrate my Dad’s birthday and our waitress Marta was brilliant, really friendly and helpful.

kieran was amazing, would reccomend coming here, and harvey makes amazing drinks

Last night we visited our favourite zizzi’s in Banstead, haven’t been there since before Christmas so was lovely walking in an seeing familiar faces and getting a lovely warm welcome from Marta, I always know we will be well taken care of when she’s there, if only every restaurant had a Marta :) the meal was delicious and the king prawn spedini was cooked to perfection, no wonder we keep returning

Adored the ragu , loved the rustica pizza and OMG the deserts

We had a pleasant experience at Zizzi today. The food was good, and the staff were helpful and attentive. Kieran and Marta were nice and friendly. We had pizza, followed by a cheesecake and a sundae for dessert, which we enjoyed. We will definitely be coming back soon.

We go to Banstead and the lady called Marta is very efficient , quick and always welcoming food is delicious

Excellent experience at Zizzi’s in Banstead. The food was amazing and Marta was super friendly and very personable. It’s our favourite Zizzi’s for these 2 reasons. The team there are always welcoming, very attentive and very much add to the whole dining experience. We’d highly recommend the restaurant to everyone!

Shambles. Ordered a delivery which took forever to arrive. Arguably the couriers fault. But, food came in a bag with my name on it, and the order was completely wrong, definitely the restaurants fault. Steer clear of this place, it got better briefly, but is now back to the disastrous service levels it always used to be.

Our waitress Marta, was so lovely. She gave us excellent service and was extremely friendly. Made our Friday night meal perfect!!

Cannot rate the atmosphere as ordered delivery, but although the pizza we ordered was nice, the delivery portion sizes are diabolical. The pasta always lacks flavour as well. Just awful portion sizes for takeaway of pasta.

Marta was our our host, and she was an absolute angel. She offered excellent recommendations, interacted wonderfully with our children, and made our whole evening truly delightful—like a breath of fresh air. 5 stars!!

Had another lovely meal at Zizzis. We both had the king prawn linguine; the recipe has changed slightly recently and I like it even more. the overall experience was great, as is always the case. Marta was our server this time - always great.

out of all the zizzi's I've been to this one is the best x 10 manager makes you feel appreciated otherwise has a smile the food is always correct and a good temperature go there on average 2 or 3 times a month

We visited Zizzi today: me, my husband and our three children. We ordered king prawns seafood linguines, pizza for our younger kids, garlic bread, fruit juices, soft drink and sparkling water. The service provided by Marta was perfect. At first Marta greeted us with a smile on her face, offered us a table and asked for allergies. Marta is a positive, energetic and friendly person. I really appreciate her professionalism and the fact that she communicated effectively with my teenage daughter, showing respect and acceptance. The food was excellent, warm and delicious. The atmosphere and interior design is full of plants and herbs.I love it! It is warm and very pleasant there to see the pizza oven that gives a pleasant warmth, natural flame that creates a family romantic background and shows the young people involved in their brilliant, hard work. All this makes us want to visit there again. We were very happy.

Lovely ambience and decor. Staff all very attentive and professional. Delicious food fresh, flavoursome and good portion sizes. Kids menu waa great value for money.

Starters and mains generally ok, but based on show not flavour. The lobster dish must have had an empty lobster carcass waved over the top of it as I found no traces of lobster only prawns. The deserts bore no relation to the descriptions and were generally bland. For example to call it cheesecake was a travesty.

Service was Mega slow. Served by 3 different people for some reason. Calamari starter was dry. Lemon cookie dessert only 1 available. It took a while to let us know, when asked why it took so long waiter said he has only 1 chef ( who was good. Considering...). Went to the till to ask for the bill, took another 20 minutes of waiting. Nobody came, so I went up and could finally pay. Main was good, service though is a joke. Waitress came to take orders for drinks, we asked for a water, which arrived and than long wait for her to come back to take order the drinks. Disappointment overall.

Great service. Food as expected for zizzi. Ordered the crab and prawn linguine and for 22.99 was disappointing to find only one piece of crab in the dish. However super tasty.

First time here and enjoyed the experience. Food was lovely and service great. Not too busy and tables spread apart nicely (some zizis feel really cramped and busy!). Would definitely go back.

Been going to this branch a number of years and can only say it gets better each time we go! Almost like a good claret, it matures in every aspect. Food, friendly service (albeit may be a bit at slow when they are busy, which is totally acceptable) The new dishes are a winner, especially the Lobster Mafaldine With King Prawn Spiedini. Prawns were cooked to perfection with a hint of spice (I noticed some character in a review earlier stated he had frozen prawns😂😂 which clearly shows that the review is total nonsense or he’s talking about some other cheap establishment! We chose the Christmas menu which is incredible value for money and all my guests commented, saying the same things, that this surely must be a loss leader! For starters we chose Calamari, Prawn Spiedini followed by the Lobster Mafaldine with King Prawn Spiedini. Yes we obviously like prawns😊 The desserts were to die for. On the table arrived a Giant Festive Profiterole. Wow! The presentation was a work of art and it certainly was huge. The others had Tiramisu and this was probably one of the best we’ve had. I’ve already booked with my wife and some other friends in the next couple of weeks and cannot wait to try some of the other ‘guest dishes’ Thanks Zizzi for keeping the standard up and making it a place where we enjoy coming back time and time again!

All the food for 8 people except the lasagne was atrocious crap. Every one had to be returned for various reasons. Cheap frozen proccessed rubbery prawns. Dry pasta dishes. Uncooked dough balls. Cold food How can this be so? Refunded 100 pounds, bloody lucky they got anything.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with delightful food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Gabi, who served us, was incredibly helpful and made excellent recommendations. She was full of smiles and made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Does have an outside place too. It can take a bit longer for your order to arrive if it's crowded but guys working there are good and do update you regularly. Food is good as always.

Was busier than I thought it would be for a Tuesday evening but our waitress Gabi went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely meal. Even bought us water without being asked and was just generally very attentive.

I’ve been going to this restaurant location since I was a child and I must say I have noticed that it has started to go downhill a little in recent years. Although they have redone the inside, making it much more inviting and atmospheric, and the food is still of a nice standard, although lacking some authenticity here and there, the service is very on and off. The previous time we went we were stuck in the restaurant for hours due to the incredibly slow service in a half empty restaurant, however when I went back yesterday for a family meal, we found quite the opposite — we were rushed out of the restaurant within the space of an hour (despite having a three course meal) by what I assume to be the manager, who was frequently shouting at staff right next to our table and seemed to be bored taking our order as opposed to amiable and welcoming. We barely had any time to catch up with each other and enjoy our meal at the table as our food was getting thrown at us so quickly. I think they need to find a happy medium between rushed and slow service to make this a more pleasant experience.

Harvey was very hospitable and provided good customer service. He also makes a good mocha! There was a another nice lady who served us. I wish I had taken her name. Nonetheless, she was superb!

The person who welcomed us, led us to the table, took the order, brought the drinks was also cooking the food and dispatching the deliveroo/ubereats orders. That's totally insane. No wonder my starter came out luke warm and my partner's starter never made it to the table. As apologetic, embarrassed and kind mannered as the servers were, sorry we were there to eat and the wait went beyond ridiculous, we just had to leave ( we paid for the drinks and my starter), but we were not prepared to carry on waiting. I mean 30 minutes was a bit excessive for a pig in blankets starter and only one of us had it because the other one never turned up after 45 minutes. Just imagine if we had waited for the mains as well. I could see people from all the tables looking around and being frustrated but honestly the 3 members of staff we saw, including the chef, surely are not enough to run the whole show. It's nonsensical. They should have turned prople away rather than causing disappointment and upset. Eating out is supposed to be an enjoyable treat, not a stressful and disappointing time.

My usual annual visit for a catch up and Marta recognised us immediately! Her service is always top notch. There was a slight issue with my main but it was rectified immediately and Marta gave me a few extra dips to compensate for the wait. Really tasty food and thoroughly enjoyed the visit!

It was my second time in Zizzi and I forgot how good it was. The food came so quick on a Saturday night it was unreal. We had pizza and pasta and both were so tasty and special - dishes you wouldn’t get at any kind of Italian. We were served by Kieran who was absolutely lovely.

Marta was friendly and attentive . Nice food , could be a bit less greasy. I think the sea bass and salmon dishes would be less sickly if the dish were grilled but maybe that’s just a preference . Lovely atmosphere as always. Delicious tiramisu

As usual we got very good service from Marta and we had a lovely meal. We go regularly about every 4-6 weeks. That was about 2 months ago. We have just been again and had the same good service from George and Marcin.

It was one of the best spreads I have ever eaten in my life, "King Prawn Linguine". Pizza is super crispy, very light and delicious. At the end, the tiramisu is a firecracker. Additionally, you can eat gluten-free and each dish is calorie-counted. Wonderful service - Aga, thank you very much 🩷 See you Zizzi 🩷
