That Little Teashop in Test Valley

My husband and I have visited this lovely little place a few times recently and we enjoy it so much. The food is lovely, great value and there are lots of items to choose from. The staff are really friendly and I think that’s one of the main reasons we go back. We always get a friendly welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you That Little Tea Shop :) We will definitely be back soon.

My usual breakfast spot but today we had lunch. They were full when we arrived the young lad took our number and called within 10mins. My wife had a panini which she said was good. The omlette I had was one of the best ive eaten! Will also be my go to lunch aswell as breakfast now!

Yet another lovely experience at this wonderful place in Romsey. First time visited during the week and much quieter than at the weekend however good whatever time you go. Very friendly staff who know how to cook tasty food at a very reasonable price, all this in a lovely quirky setting. Cannot recommend enough! Many Thanks Simon and Dawn

Mainly a lovely breakfast ,the sausages had no flavour really let the breakfast down , tasted like those Richmond ones . The coffee was awful so bitter . Other than that good breakfast good service . Could do with redecorating looking very tired now

i’m so glad i found this little gem tucked away in romsey! its so cozy and homey, like a house that’s been renovated into a cute little cafe. all of the menu is priced amazingly and there’s loads to choose from. there’s lots of clearly labeled vegan options too which was lovely. my partner and i got full english breakfasts and they were amazing, piping hot and made fresh in the kitchen. if i come back to romsey i’ll absolutely be visiting again!

Gorgeous traditional quirky little tea room with bottomless tasty pots of tea. Lovely happy staff serving delicious homemade food. This is the best cafe on the planet and you will not be disappointed.

The best part of our trip to Hampshire was coming here! Wow! What an adorable place! They were full when we arrived so asked if we wanted to leave our phone number and they would call when they had room. We are so glad we said yes because they phoned 10 minutes later and we ended up having the best breakfast we have ever had! The staff, the food, the whole experience was fantastic and we can't wait to come back next year on our next trip! Keep up the good work guys!

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The staff and friendly, happy and very accommodating with any special requests. My husband is particular is the way he likes items of his breakfast served, his request was fulfilled and his food was cooked just the way he had asked. The menu has so much to choose from which means we will keep going back to try it all!

My regular go to for brunch. The ladies ( & men) are all friendly & welcoming! The Biggest breakfast is fantastic all the usual bits and black pudding& bubble & squea. Unlimited tea for a quid cant go wrong!

Becoming one of my regular breakfast spots. The food is incredible, with the bubble and squeak being a lovely addition which you don't see much nowadays! Lovely staff and great prices. Would recommend to anyone passing by !

My wife and I loved our Big Breakfasts. The Bottomless Teapot for £1 per person was indeed bottomless! Breakfast was great especially the additional black pudding for a little extra. There is a lovely homely atmosphere here and we will definitely recommend and return

This little restaurant is a hidden diamond in Romsey. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly. When my family arrive from Scotland, That Little Tea Shop is their go to restaurant for the best breakfast. I am also GF and DF the menu caters for my needs.

My husband and I treat ourselves to a regular breakfast in Romsey on Saturday mornings. We've tried several of the venues in and around Romsey, and this is by far our favourite. The food is consistently excellent - all so fresh and cooked to perfection. The prices are very fair, and there's a great range of options. The welcome is very warm, and nothing is ever too much trouble the staff. We love it here and will keep returning.

I have been going here for years and it is a lovely family run teashop. The food is freshly cooked, delicious every time, good portions and great value for money, particularly the teapot for one which is a £1. It is always very busy and the staff are wonderful and friendly. I have tried other places in Romsey and I would say they are the best breakfast and the best value for money.

Had a lovely breakfast at the tea shop, been a few times and the food has always been amazing. It has a great variety of breakfasts including a large range of gluten free food. The food was lovely and not greasy at all. Our waitress Olivia was great!

My wife and I on a weekend tend to have a few choices of where we eat breakfast. This place is an absolute gem!, my only worry is that it will become too popular and when we arrive it will be full. I did book the last time as we were bringing our niece who I must add is the fussiest of eaters. The comment she said was....That was the best bacon baguette that she had ever tasted. As usual my cheese omelette was divine and my wife's food again amazing. Thanks as always and see you very soon from the man who always orders two flat whites.

One of our favourite lunch spots in Romsey! We also order take away lunches regularly as we work from home, it's super convenient to be able to collect a hot lunch on our way past during a break time stroll. My favourite is the bubble and squeak, with all the extras, it's always served piping hot! Our little one really enjoys the children's veggie breakfast. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming too 😊

Such a good little breakfast spot, especially as it is served all day. The staff there are so lovely and accommodating. One thing that I especially appreciate is the level of variety on the menu, there is something for everyone, and more so the customisation where you can add or remove whatever you want. I went to That Little Teashop for the weekend, and it still has to be one of my favourites.

We often visit here and have had the pleasure to be served by the lovely Lillie . She is always friendly, polite and always has a smile. Our favourites are the ultimate and big breakfast and we are never disappointed. Lillie always checks that we are happy and have everything to enjoy our meal. This is the best place to get a freshly cooked breakfast in Romsey. You will be guaranteed a warm welcome by all the staff and enjoy great food at a good price.

This little tea shop is such a perfect find! Really is a hidden gem!! We returned today after our visit yesterday, and served again by a lovely waitress Lil. The staff are great and very accommodating. They are have a good selection of food and drinks. The cakes are delicious, great takeaway offer also 👌❤️ Needless to say we will be returning.

This was our third time here and a last minute decision on the morning. We are so glad we did!! Every time we have visited the service and food have been amazing!! The reason this place is so good, is that it is friendly, efficient and the food is cooked perfectly. My cheese omelette was cooked to perfection and my wife's food was brilliant also. One of our favourite places to stop in Romsey when we need reviving. There is a great selection of food available and they are very accomodating if you want to tweak something. Also have the best cakes and a takeaway bargain price of three for a fiver. The waiting staff are very amiable and attentive...nothing is too much trouble. The only time I have seen the staff take a break is on the very rare occasion when the place is quiet.

Found this place by chance after a quick Google search and enjoyed a beautiful freshly cooked breakfast, bottomless tea and lovely OJ. Staff were so kind and friendly and the atmosphere is calm with cute decor. We will definitely be visiting again.

We trusted our satnav and it delivered us virtually to the door. The cafe is upstairs, with the entrance on a side street. A great value for money menu, food delicious and promptly served. A great find.

A lovely little traditional tea shop with friendly staff and a great home cooked menu. Well worth a visit, caters for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The kids were well looked after and the food is delicious.

Excellent all day breakfast, cooked perfectly and piping hot along with a very hot and delicious Latte. My daughter and son-in-law went for a vegan sandwich which was also brilliant. Following a recommendation we thought we treat the children to a breakfast after a few manic weeks. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff didn’t stop, the service was amazing. With two fussy eaters even the children were impressed. Would highly recommend.

Visited this morning after looking on tripadvisor for the best places to have breakfast in Romsey.We got there just at the right time, the place was almost full, we were seated by a lovely young waitress and given menu's.We were told there would be a delay in our food being cooked as they were so busy, understandable as you could see they were full to capacity.When the breakfast arrived it was well worth the wait, fresh, piping hot, reasonably priced and washed down with a big pot of tea for £1.......£1!!Will definatley be back, thank you!

We often visit and have always left full and happy! The staff are friendly and can alway accommodate our requests (we have no be fussy member of the family) Food is always hot and the menu is varied, although we do tend to re order the same as it’s so good! I would definitely recommend

We came in for lunch today, and it was so nice to see a local business busy and doing well in these strange times. We enjoyed a family lunch out for under £40 including drinks! Our food was delicious and hot and there is such a good variety of drinks here too. The staff were very friendly and didn't stop! We can't wait to come back!! :)

Just awful experience. After waiting an hour still no food. The restaurant had 6 tables to wait on and 5 members of staff. We are all hungry including my 8 year old. We asked after 50 minutes if our food would be much longer but they couldn't/wouldn't give a time frame. Always been a big fan of That Little Tea Shop. Would never go again. What a shame. Could so easily have been put right at the time but no. Left after paying for the one drink we were served/offered in an hour. Went round the corner got our food within 20 minutes. I appreciate everyone feels they are short staffed/busy but 6 tables and 5 members of staff. Just not good enough. Go somewhere else guys.

There’s a reason this lovely little place doesn’t get any complaints or bad reviews! That’s because there’s nothing to complain about!! Lovely intimate cosy atmosphere. Staff are so attentive and friendly. The menu is vast and has a great selection. The light breakfast was my choice, and the bottomless tea pot def helps get the day started! Visit! Visit! Visit!

Full A4 menu of vegan breakfast and lunch options, which was absolutely wonderful after having wandered around Romsey and finding very few things we could eat in any other cafe. Friendly staff, great classic food selection, delicious fishless finger bap - all for very reasonable prices! Will 100% be coming back!
