We are very lucky to live locally to Great Fosters and so have be many times before to both restaurants and for various other functions. As usual we were not disappointed.

28/03/2018: Venture just outside St. Andrews to sample this gem. Three course meal with some extras thrown in. Our table of three was pleased with both halibut and lamb for main course. One seating per table per night so reservations essential. Fine dining in relaxed atmosphere.
18/03/2018: We had a fantastic meal at the Grange and were also fortunate to have a private room for the eight of us to be very comfortable. The food and service were amazing, the staff were great. We all agreed that it was one of the best experiences we have had. An open fire made the room nice and warm. We are all frequent visitors to St Andrews but we’re not aware of this little jewel a couple of miles out of the town. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.

30/03/2018: We decided to drive, climb, drive in a day up Mount Snowdown. The weather forecast at the summit appeared positive around mid day and we arrived at Rhyd Ddu and set of the the peak at 9.30am. Deep snow on the traverse made things interesting and we decided to descend via Llanberis and find our way back to the car somehow.
24/03/2018: We visited the café after climbing the steepest half mile I've climbed for a long time (being from South Wales). What a warm welcome my wife and l had and we only stopped for a cuppa with some bara brith (traditional welsh cake). The café could double up as a mini welsh cottage museum which we were encourage by Steffan the hoist/owner to look around We were give loads of useful local information and some info not so local about Caernarfon. Our visit to the café was one of our highlights of our trip to North Wales and will be remembered for a long time.
