City Centre, Edinburgh, City of
12/12/2018: I visited this establishment for their afternoon tea service. At peak tea time there were several tables full but it was still a quiet and relaxing environment. I could not have asked for a more lovely, and delicious, experience. The food was excellent, the tea selection was wonderful and the staff was friendly but not overbearing. It's the perfect way to enjoy the lovely location inside a stunning library, and enjoy it we did. Worth every penny!

McHalls Bistro

Claremont, Blackpool, <20£
31/01/2019: Ramp on hand making wheel chair access a lot easier. Help given for appropriate comfort seat at the table. Always made to feel very welcome. An excellent meal as usual, whole dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you so much Danny and Gavin.
28/01/2019: Lovely hotel, Clean nice sized rooms, Very friendly staff, Food available. We didn't have food we went out with friends , and missed breakfast We are returning very soon

Room With a View

Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay, Fife, 20-30£
13/02/2019: A friend dropped us off at this waterside restaurant, which we were pleased about as its not easy to find down a steep, narrow coastal road! (The proprietors do a pick up & drop off service from nearby Aberdour).
09/02/2019: Fabulous seafood, comfortable setting and friendly staff watching a wild River Forth on a bleak day will see us return to this quality restaurant.

Penceunant Isaf Tea Rooms

Llanberis, Gwynedd
11/02/2019: Ended up in this place after a long long hike to put our exhausted feet up by the fireplace enjoying a nice snowden ale. Stefan is a great host, so are the ladies behind the till selling the drinks.
11/02/2019: The owner Stefan is the most welcoming, funny, charismatic and extremely kind bloke. Our friend from the Netherlands came back and took his boots off with extremely sore feet when Stefan brought him a bowl off hot soapy water to soak his feet in whilst he enjoyed an ale by the beautiful log fire. Its always an amazing way to finish a hike on the Llanberis path. Absolute superstar, thanks Stefan, see you again very soon

The Tudor Room

Thorpe, Runnymede, 60-100£
29/01/2019: Amazing dishes made from quality ingredients were as delicious as you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Friendly, charming and well informed staff helped make this a wonderful occasion for the four of us. This great experience made for a fantastic evening.
27/01/2019: We have just returned from dinner in the Tudor Rooman and anovernight stay at Great Fosters The service in the Tudor Room was exemplary, and the food sensational. There were so many surprising flavours in each course that selecting one that stands above the rest is pretty impossible. If you enjoy the experience of food that makes you think; and travels a road somewhat off the traditional, you won’t be disappointed.

The Gateway Tearooms

Moorland, Teignbridge
21/12/2018: I very rarely actually write anything on this website but after my visit here this afternoon I thought I'd better!
06/12/2018: The Gateway tea Room and Cafe is situated right in the centre of Moretonhampstead. We needed a snack and a cup of tea. Lovely welcome, beautifully set comfortable tables with windows on two sides of the room. Lots to choose from on the menu, soups and light meals on the specials menu, just what we wanted. Very reasonable priced for well researched and thoughtful home cooking using some very special local ingredients. The meals were visually wonderful and tasted equally fine. A big pot of lovely tea poured into fine china cups. A real pleasure to brighten up a dull Dartmoor day.

Ditto Restaurant

Whitby West Cliff, Scarborough, >100£
03/02/2019: Visited here last night as a treat following a viewing of the reviews on trip advisor. I have to say we were not disappointed. The services was brilliant and the food was amazing. They had even gone to the trouble of decorating our table prior to our arriving. And when it came to paying, I was very pleasantly surprised. Great value for what we got! Would definitely visit again when back in Whitby as we felt very spoilt. Well done and thank you.
02/02/2019: If you want a romantic, quaint and friendly restaurant this is for you.

Falmouth Penwerris, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
10/02/2019: Not a lot I can add to other reviews but would like to reassure vegetarians that you are catered for. It is true that there was only one option on starters and mains but they were delicious. You do have to book several weeks in advance but it’s worth getting yourself organised.
10/02/2019: We visited Oliver's again this week. Last time was November. Excellent menu, food and service.

The Fig Tree

Hurstpierpoint and Downs, Mid Sussex
31/01/2019: First visit as this had been recommended by a friend. Excellent food and service and probably the best dining experience I have had for sometime. We will for sure be back.
20/01/2019: Visited for the first time last night and what a fabulous meal. The staff were charming and helpful. The food was probably the best we have eaten in West Sussex. A superb eclectic mix of dishes and the ambience and lighting were fabulous. We will return sooner rather than later. A great hidden gem in Hurstpierpoint.

The Grange at St Andrews

St. Andrews, Fife, 30-45£
27/01/2019: Exceptionally good value. Food beautifully presented and great choice. Service was superb. We were their last booking & didn’t feel at all rushed. Will certainly be back.
10/01/2019: We visited with friends, early on the evening of 31st December. This had been our first visit there in over ten years - it had been a favourite and oft frequented place of ours for many years, but since moving away from St Andrews, it had gone off our radar. Good reports had been filtering through to us for a while, so we decided to return at last.

The Buxhall Crown

Onehouse, Mid Suffolk, 20-30£
08/02/2019: This is an old school pub with well dressed landlord & staff dishing up some tasty grub...You wont find many places like this around now. Friendly pub and locals & one good reason to move to the area... will be back soon!
25/01/2019: Great cooking and service nice country cooking at a reasonable price good location with Suffolk big skies this well run pub is well worth a visit.

Mill Race Teashop

Addlebrough, Richmondshire
05/02/2019: Visited here at the weekend and wow we was not disappointed! Nothing was too much trouble it’s spotless and the food was so tasty .
03/02/2019: No trip to Aysgarth Falls would be complete without a trip to Mill Race Cafe! A great family run business with fantastic food and very friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area 🙂

Norbury, Derbyshire Dales
13/02/2019: I have visited this excellent in Tenby on four occasions and have chosen a variety of dishes from their menu.Although the portions may,at first sight, appear to rather small this is deceptive ;for once the decorative presentation is dismantled the food is a delicious sensory treat.
13/02/2019: The venue, the atmosphere, the staff and most importantly the FOOD. Can't wait to go back. I would always recommend the Lighthouse to everyone.

The Green Yard Cafe

Bridport North, West Dorset
09/02/2019: Whilst visiting family in Bridport my dear Mum suggested going to T.G.Y.C for lunch, what a wonderful little café great food & very friendly staff, we ordered jacket potato's and a Prawn sandwich on brown. All of our choices were tasty and nicely presented. My wife & I look forward to our next visit whilst visiting from our home in Larnaca Cyprus.
29/01/2019: I suggested to a friend we meet here for lunch as I’ve always found the food and service exceptional.
