there were 20 of us and we had a superb skittles evening at the Crook and Shears and would like to thank everyone for an enjoyable time. The food was first class and served hot and decent size potions and there was not even one gripe from anyone in our group which was amazing. The chef handled a request to bring the food out early as we'd finished our skittles earlier than scheduled, the staff were very friendly and made us feel very much at ease and welcome. Already looking to plan a second visit so Huzzzzaaahhh !! well done team

My fiancée and I recently visited The Crook and Shears, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a cosy atmosphere and friendly locals, making it feel like a true countryside gem. The highlight, without a doubt, was the food. I ordered the daily special, and the local gammon was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted – perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The pub has a warm, inviting charm, and the owners were incredibly attentive. Whether you're looking for a great meal or just a relaxed spot to enjoy a drink, this place is a must-visit! They’re even dog friendly and we saw plenty of friendly pups to say hello to. Highly recommend.
