Marley's in Shepway

Marley’s ambience is that of a hug, warm and welcoming. The food lives up to that promise - cajun-salted corn on the cob done rib-style, lime and chilli squid, succulent tuna steak and the creamiest cheesiest risotto you could ask for. The local beer and wine were delicious, too.

Visited Marley's the other evening. Owned by a young vibrant couple with a great friendly, professional team backing them up. Having survived the pandemic, they are now re- establishing their reputation. Their menu is different to run of the mill restaurants, locally sourced produce and cooked with great care. The selection of small starters that were ordered were truly amazing. I have to go back again to try the other dishes on the menu. Great people and decor with a warm comfortable atmosphere.Highly recommended.

On stepping through the door of Marley’s,Louise &Nicola greeted us with warm smiles as though we were the only people in the restaurant and showed us to our personalised table! Even the very busy chefs looked up to greet us! The visit just got better and better from then on. The food unique delicious and perfectly proportioned. The staff discreet but attentive. An overall cohesive well trained team. A dining experience that warrants return visits

Flying visit to Folkestone and Marley’s was a great find, arrived after 1pm and we were seated straight away. Greeted and served by lovely and polite staff. We had the Marley’s sharing platter for two which was very tasty and filling. Well recommend.

So me and my gf have been meaning to come for some time.we both work over the road at big boys and often miss going out for lunch .but as it’s our day off we decided to final go! And it was so worth the wait we arrived as soon as they opened and was seated and told there would be a wait for food as they had just opened and were already full .so worth it! Pork belly was so well cooked and amazingly tasty the pot of tea did 3full cups well worth the low price of the pot and my gf loved her spiced prawn and smashed avocado on sourdough! Will definitely be back soon as we can!

Perfect quick lunch. I visited for lunch with my partner and it was absolutely delicious! We were there before it opened at 12 and by 12:25 all tables were full so you could see from the start that it was going to be good.My partner had the vegan steak burger and I had the sausage ciabatta and neither of us could fault them. My partner said “if we lived here that would be a place I would visit again and again”. I’m gutted that we are staying an hour train away as I would have loved to have gone back for dinner. I also had the homemade peach iced tea. It was a little small for the price however I ordered a 2nd glass so it was clearly worth the price (£3 a glass I think). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was delicious and we left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you!

Our first meal at Marley’s and what a treat! Can’t believe that we haven’t been here before, but we could not fault the ambience, service or the food. It was such a lovely (early) evening meal and so reasonable. Highly recommended!!

I managed to get a table for 2 here due to a cancellation. Someone's loss became our pleasure of being able to experience such wonderful food .From first stepping in to Marleys with such a lovely atmosphere ,friendly ,attentive staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our every need .The fantastic menu catered for all ,with dietary requirements taken into account at point of ordering with well informed waitress. Wine and beer /drinks menu a good assortment of local produce, as well as the ingredients used in the food menu .Well done Marleys for keeping things local and giving your customers the opportunity for tasting it !are truly memorable dining experience was the highlight of are lovely overnight stay in folkestone. We went to Marley’s today and it was such an amazing restaurant. > The quantity of food available is amazing and the options they include is very large> They offer most of their food with a gluten free version which is amazing > The prices are very reasonable, especially with the amount of food you get > The friendliest staff, quick service and very clean and equipped bathroom. Located in the creative corner of Folkestone, this is a fantastic restaurant. Food was all fresh and tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very cosy. We as a family of four had the sharing platter, with calamari, bread, halloumi and chipolatas, which was tasty and not greasy. We then tried different dishes including the tuna, pork belly and beef, the crackling in the pork belly was delicious! I would recommend booking in advance as it’s a really busy restaurant and fairly small too, they had to turn many people away.

With things like ‘obvs’ and ‘delish’ on the menu, I was ready to scoff at the breakfast, and write it off as quickly as the ‘Gin’ related art work. How wrong I was...The breakfast was nearly perfect. A minute less on the egg would have nailed it. The rest was A+++. The sausage was delicious, the mushrooms were incredibly tasty, and DID NOT leave that awful black ink. The tomatoes were spot on. The crumpet was a revalation and the bacon cooked exactly as I like it. The sourdough toast nailed it. Service also excellent. What can I say? The best breakfast I’ve ever eaten out. Ignore the hipness, this place has soul.

We recently visited Marley’s to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t have enjoyed the experience more! The food and drink was delicious, service was really professional and the decor/ambiance was lovely. 100% recommend and we will definitely be back!

I have been working away for a while and could not wait to come here to eat again the staff here are wonderful the service is excellent the food is of the highest quality I love this restaurant in my opinion its the best place to eat in town do come here to eat you will not be disappointed I love everything about this place and your always made to feel welcome. I cannot give this a score 10 out of 10 it would have to 11 out of 10 as ts exceptional

This restaurant is such a gorgeous find, absolute 10/10. I came with my boyfriend and we had the best food, as well as for the best price, that we have ever tasted. We had amazing service from the lovely waitresses (the blonde girl with the bee tattoo was so sweet!) we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and have even started planning another trip to Folkestone just so that we can come back here!

Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast from Marley. The pancakes were soft and fluffy. English breakfast was spot on too. The avocado toast with hollumi was not my thing but my brother really liked it. Will definitely visit again - probably for dinner.

I had never heard of Marleys, when a friend suggested we meet here for lunch, and I am so glad that he did.The restaurant is wonderful! Lovely furnishings, excellent decor, really clean and tidy, and there is a great vibe to it when you walk in. The layout is well thought out for a small space, and there are a number of cute reminders of helping to reduce waste, like using one paper towel etc, which I think are really important.There are items freely available in the toilets should you get caught without baby wipes etc and the little thoughtful touches like that show how well they have taken customer comfort into consideration.The service was brilliant, and the food phenomenal! As a dairy allergy sufferer, it is often hard to find a decent selection of food to choose from, but nearly everything was able to be tweaked if I wanted it, and the deserts were superb! The double vegan chocolate brownie with vegan ice cream was amazing!So, so impressed and I will definitely visiting again soon.This is what social, relaxing dining experiences should be about! Such a great place to celebrate my birthday. Fantastic food throughout the menu! Great atmosphere, really friendly and attentive staff. They even sang me happy birthday and brought me out an ice cream with a candle in it, made my night. Definitely go back such a Gem of a place, would recommend to everyone. Me and my fiancé are from Madeira, we know our fish and other than my dad's tuna steak I've never had anything more delish than this. Highly recommend, the service is super friendly and the food is just to die for!

Consistently good, always fresh, tasty and locally sourced food at the charming Marleys. The entire team work really hard to ensure everything they offer is of the highest quality and is always served with a smile. Portions are very generous and the wine and beer selection is excellent. Absolutely cannot fault anything about it. Thanks to everyone involved.

Make no bones about it. If this place was in London they would be able to charge twice as much for their food. No doubt in our minds that this is probably the best place we've eaten in for years. Booked for a meal a couple of months ago and have to say - it was one of the nicest meals out I have ever had! The staff were friendly but discreet, the atmosphere was relaxing, the decor and seating was stylish and warm, and finally - the food was sublime! I went for the Risotto for main which was creamy and just divine, I didn't want to stop eating it! Sweet potato fries on the side which were delicious! My partner had the pork belly and mash - which he said was so good! Pudding was apple fries with a salted caramel dip..he had a brownie with vanilla ice cream! I literally want to eat there again this weekend! And the next...

Everything about Marleys is amazing, the staff are always so friendly, the restaurant decor is inviting and the food is delicious! My favourite is the buttermilk chicken, o my goodness it's so amazing. The cream caramel latte is also amazing if you fancy a treat! 100% visit Marleys, you'll be so happy you did!

We absolutely loved our visit at Marleys. The food was so delicious and the presentation of it was gorgeous! The atmosphere in the restaurant was fabulous, the decor is super pretty and the music was great too. Staff were super polite and happy to chat which was pleasant, we felt really welcome! Cool little touches throughout the whole place, which showed how much effort the staff put in. Would really recommend it! Cannot wait to come back

I have been to Marley’s twice now, once in summer 2020 and now in summer 2021.Polite and friendly service and highly attentive staff.The food is astounding and doesn’t take long to arrive - generous portions and absolutely spectacular taste at good prices. The tuna steak was great as was the pork belly with the best crackling. This is the best restaurant in Folkestone and there’s a lot of options so that is high praise. Highly recommended, my only advice is book because it isn’t the biggest restaurant.If you still care about COVID they have nice big screens up between the tables - these screens also have the added benefit of blocking out the sound of that annoying loud group of six right next to you. Go here now. It’s great!

We came for a weekend away near Folkestone and our AirBnB hosts recommended Marleys. The food was incredible. I have a dairy intolerance and they catered to this fantastically. I had the beef and my partner had the pork belly, both were delicious. The starters and desserts were great too. Would recommend booking as was very popular. The service was incredible and both waitresses were so friendly and welcoming. Would strongly recommend going if you are in Folkestone.

Our first visit to Marley’s and it won’t be the last. Lovely ambiance with friendly and attentive staff,not a large restaurant so tables at a premium. In fact its taken several attempts to book a table,must say Marley’s communication was excellent. Lime and chilli squid and halloumi fries to start, very tasty and good value. Main crispy buttermilk chicken and a slow cooked beef short rib, delicious.

Enjoyed our last night in Folkestone dining here. Would definitely go again . our only gripe was that there did not appear to be any covid sign in measures .

Wow what a great restaurant. Had dinner here for our anniversary and cannot fault anything.The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The restaurant decor is great and the atmosphere perfect for a quiet meal out.The location on the old high street was good and added to the charm.Now the food, well this was amazing. Generous portions and locally sourced. Wonderful! Also the wine list had a lot of local kent offerings.A truly wonderful meal and would not hesitate to go back.Thank you!

Have not been here since lockdown started last year. Walked in and was greeted with a friendly welcome. It was busy but a table just became available. Waitress who took are order was helpful and friendly. Food arrived and it was delicious. Highly recommend coming here. The staff are very friendly, the food is lovely and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Staff wasn’t welcome to couples with children. She was also very rude towards us. When we asked for a table she said that we have to wait and in the meantime they were sitting other people which is not fair.

We stopped in for lunch on a day trip to Folkestone. We ordered from the brunch, main and childrens menus, everything was exceptional. They catered brilliantly for our young son, including baby change facilities. Really friendly service and great coffee too, what's not to love!

The food is so nice, tasty, well presented and just great. Highly recommend anyone to eat here, great veggie and vegan options which taste amazing.

So glad to see they were open again so had to go and have a meal today. I have been here many times the food is always excellent the chef here is awesome the staff are fabulous the service is first class it is by far the best restaurant in Folkestone I cannot praise this place to highly I strongly recommend you come eat here.Thank you to everyone who works here for making every visit so amazing.

We decided to stop for a hot drink and a snack and were glad we did. The cake and panini was lovely and the coffee was also one of the best I've had (and I'm pretty fussy)!

We were lucky to find a table on a Sunday for brunch. We were served quickly and the food was amazing. The Covid-19 procedures make you feel safe without being intrusive. There was lots of choice for vegetarian's and with breakfast being served all day on a Sunday it was great! The staff were friendly, good ambience and overall a lovely visit.

Marleys restaurant is decorated beautifully throughout creating a wonderfull ambiance. The service was casual, friendly and professional. Everything we ate was delicious, even the kids meals were of a really high quality. My vegan steak in the picture was gorgeous, probably the best vegan meal I have eaten out. The deodorant in the mens room was a nice touch too!

We’ve been here a few times whilst visiting family in Folkestone and have throughly enjoyed it every time. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the prices are so good for what you get and most importantly, we’ve never had anything we didn’t like - can especially recommend the breakfast. There are some lovely ‘little touches’ as well, such as the extra toiletries in the ladies. Cannot complain and very much looking forward to visiting our new favourite game eatery in Folkestone.

Every time we walked past the restaurant was always full so decided to book a table for Friday night. Service was wonderful, food was really great too. I had the pork belly and my partner had the lamb rump, both were superb with a good portion size. Definitely will come back to try the other dishes, would highly recommend to others.

The greeting you get here is always with a smile and warm and friendly the staff are wonderful the service is excellent and the food is truly delicious for me its the best restaurant in town and great value for money.

What a gem of a restaurant this place is. The staff, all young ladies, were excellent, and very friendly, attentive and obliging,. The atmosphere was cosy and not too loud. The food was amazing,. The BEST pork belly we have ever eaten anywhere in the world and we have travelled a lot. The curly Kale was cooked to perfection, and my husband had a very nice bottle of Merlot. Honeycomb ice cream finished me off and I had to hobvble home like a womble, I was so full. I would definitely recommend this lovely venue both for the food, value for money and the staff.

Never been before but will definitely come back! Having worked in the hospitality industry for 25yrs, I’m not one for breakfast anymore, apart from when I travel in the UK or abroad. Serving and cooking for many people has taken the edge off of it. However, I might change my mind if I’m asked to come here again. Great food, friendly service, wonderful decor and well priced. Keep it up. Folkestone needs great restaurants like this. No matter what happens over the next few months, hang in there.

I highly recommend Marleys. I have ate here twice so far, i had dinner here last night, i can’t wait to return already.Lots on the menu to pick from, everything on the menu sounds and looks amazing.I’m gluten free and Marleys is one of the best places i have ate at for accommodating people with allergies felt very comfortable and re assured. The food is unreal. So tasty, always cooked perfectly. Service is brilliant, drinks are lovely. ( P.s the peanut butter ice cream is to die for! ) Absolutely nothing to fault.We will be back! Wow - had an amazing meal here today. I had the vegan steak which was simply gorgeous, partner had Marley’s board and the others had the sea bass and sausage and mash. Everyone enjoyed the food and couldn’t fault it. Even the deserts were extremely delicious- the vegan brownie and honeycomb ice cream was also enjoyed by my partner who has a thing about not liking vegan deserts but he loved it! The service had the perfect balance of friendliness but professional and although there were queues to get in they did not hurry us at all. Even the toilets are excellent - in the ladies little extra essentials tastefully provided and I love having quality paper towels rather than lower - touch of luxury. Highly recommended- thank you so much to all the staff for a memorable birthday lunch.

Took my family to Folkestone for some sea air. We had brekfast at Marleys. My son commented that the cooked brekfast he ordered was the best he'd ever had. Friendly and efficient service and good seating arrangement.

Myself and my partner stumbled across this wonderful little place by chance after a cold and soggy run in the Folkestone Half Marathon on Sunday 28th September. We arrived wet, hungry for breakfast, with a small puppy in hand and with another friend on the way and from the moment we arrived nothing felt too much trouble to the staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate us on a table not usually set up for dogs and were welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. The food was delicious, service was quick and staff were attentive and smiley and we went away happy and full. It's clear the passion and thought that has gone into creating this place and the little touches did not go unnoticed, for example including baby changing and sanitary products in the bathrooms and the nods to environmentally friendly products throughout. We unfortunately do not live closer, otherwise we would make this our local! Thank you to all of the team for such a lovely visit and keep up the wonderful work! Jade and Angus

Without hyperbole, this was genuinely one of the best meals we've had. I had pork belly, my wife had a burger, both were cooked to perfection, with tasty sides and very nice drinks. Staff were attentive and helpful, all the distancing measures were effective and easy to follow. Our new favourite place to eat!

For this price? 5 stars! Very good food. Especially very good veg. I had sea bass, my son had signature burger and my wife had just veg and all was tasty! Excellent place and we will call again if we come to Folkestone more.

Worth the travel from Sevenoaks. As you can’t book a table at lunchtime I emailed and then spoke to Charly. She advised to arrive before noon to hopefully get a table. We did and got a table. My sis loved the Popcorn Cauliflower bites. In fact absolutely no complaints just compliments. 100% recommended.

After walking out of Eleto (filthy tables and chairs covered in dog hairs) and Market Square (rude staff) we almost gave up looking for somewhere to have lunch. How lucky we were to find a table at Marley's. Friendly efficient staff showed us to a table immediately a high chair for our toddler was provided and they let us park the pushchair near the door. My daughter asked if it was possible to have scrambled eggs on toast for her son and the lovely waitress checked and made sure his meal came out quickly so we could enjoy our meal after he was fed. The eggs were cooked perfect and the pea shoot garnish was unbelievable so fresh tasty and tender. Our meals of toasted brie and bacon bun and toasted hallumi salad with a side of popcorn cauli balls were also well cooked and delicious. The portions were quite large and they even provided a lovely takeout box for my daughters unfinished meal. The restaurant is very quirky with good use made of the screens ensuring customers safety but also allowing you to have a relaxing meal. The spotless toilets were spacious with baby changing facilities and lovely soap. What a really well managed restaurant with a fabulous menu!

We came with our extended family of children and grandchildren as they were on a Staycation here in wonderful Folkestone. We’ve eaten here before a number of times and always had the best of food and delightful service. My daughter and her family fell in love with Marley’s food and staff on this their first visit. The layout and look of the restaurant is honestly so cute, it definitely has a Instagram sort of vibe with the decor which is nice if you love your picture being taken. It is small which was nice and makes it feel nice and homey and with a couple tables outside as well. The food was honestly so good had gone with my boyfriend with one thought on our mind.. we just wanted a nice burger for a late lunch and it was exactly what we got. Amazing. Overall it was a nice restaurant to eat in, the staff were nice and had a little chat with them a bit before leaving and it was lovely. Oh and the dessert was so delicious! Definitely recommend and would honestly go back again!!

We enjoyed a tasty lunch here . The food was delicious, and the dishes were made using lovely fresh ingredients and local produce . The buttermilk chicken and ribs went down very well , and my son commented that it was some of the best pork he’d ever tasted. The vegan sandwich also very tasty, although the portion was huge! We had to wait for some time for a table to be available, but glad we did stuck it out - it was definitely worth the wait.

We went to Marley's for an evening meal, we'd been told previously it was very good but they far surpassed expectations.The food here is amazing, everything tastes so fresh and crisp.The atmosphere and decor are lovely, it's a very comforting environment and feels quite like dining at a friend's house.The staff are amazing, so welcoming and friendly.We will definitely visit again and will recommend to others.

My husband popped in here for a late lunch on the recommendation of my daughter. We received a warm welcome and were politely informed we’d have a 15 wait for a table but could have a drink whilst waiting. We perused the menu, enjoyed a drink and were soon shown to our table. I was particularly impressed with the amount of gluten free food available so had to have two starters that are rarely available GF ie Halloumi Fries and Salt and Pepper squid. My husband chose the Kent lamb rump which was declared the best lamb he’d tasted! Needless to say he had to have a dessert and was spoilt for choice but opted for the apple turnover and wasn’t disappointed. Aside from the amazing food, Charley and Mark should be very proud of their staff (Ella was lovely) and the whole ethos and ambience of their fantastic restaurant. Definitely no 1 on our list of places to eat in Folkestone!

This is a fantastic restaurant with excellent choices,superb food and friendly service. We booked for Saturday night and choose because of their good choice of vegetarian gluten free options for our daughter. Warm greeting on arrival and menu was very clear for our daughter and also extra dishes could be made gluten free. The waitress checked with the chef about the Garden of England sharing platter to confirm which items were gluten free. Food excellent ! We ate the sea bass,pork belly and bubble and squeak and all were fantastic.We loved this restaurant so much that we came back for brunch the next day. Marley’s has got everything right. Great find and would highly recommend.

As always a lovely place to dine out at.We went for lunch during the EOTHO promotion and joined the queue (always a good sign!) before they opened as they weren’t taking lunch bookings.I had the burger and added bacon - it was delicious.Please add some NON Vegan and Gluten Free cakes to your dessert menu - we appreciate the ‘trend’ atm but they shouldn’t be forced upon us! We went without in the end which was disappointing.....

Absolutely amazing we visited end of July for our first try at eating out since lockdown, the place was amazing and didn’t feel scary going to eat out there as the tables are apart and not to big but the main reason for the 5* is the food it was incredible so tasty and fresh also being gluten free having a menu that is so easily catered for made sure I had so much choice, love the place and food and will be back for sure

we came here after reading all the brilliant reviews on trip advisor and when we couldnt have breakfast in our guest house(foy house).we both had the vegan breakfast which was excellent and very filling!(a long walk along the coast was in order after this!)also has an excellent chai latte.

We visited Marley's after seeing it rated as #1 in Folkestone by TripAdvisor and were not at all disappointed. Wonderful small independent restaurant in the old town, but only a few minutes walk from the harbour. Amazing halloumi fries for starters (you can share one portion between 3 or 4). Lots of interesting and delicious mains and homemade ice cream with the desserts. Good value, excellent service and good social distancing measures in place. You can't book a table, so get there early. Highly recommended.

Was my 4th time dining at Marley's. Just can't fault it. Felt very lucky to be able to get a table the same day as trying to book. Great service. The screens between each table are great. Cauliflower bites where one of the highlights as well as the vegan "steak". I have no faults to say at all! Can't wait for my next visit.

Had an amazing night here! Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced. We ordered the pork belly (AMAZING) and the burger. The staff were incredible, super helpful. A really cosey atmosphere. A must visit place if you are local.

Visited here with my wife on my 70th birthday. What a good decision it was. The food was excellent and so was the service. We were made to feel very welcome. Prices were very reasonable for both food and drink. We will certainly be returning.

We visited Marleys for lunch today. We were greeted in a friendly and warm way and shown to our table. This establishment has taken great steps to ensure they Covid-19 safe. I had the 'Classic Marleys Burger'. It was well cooked and very tasty. My wife had 'Halloumi and Asparagus. The ingredients were very fresh and local sourced. My wife felt this was a well balanced light enough lunch and did not feel too full. The flavours were really nice. My daughter enjoyed the 'Garden Risotto'. Which was really well prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients and also very tasty. My grandchildren had Sausage & Mash and Popcorn Chicken. Both these meal were very good. Even though these were kids meals the sausages were of excellent quality and the chicken was good pieces of meat well cooked and tasty. We did not feel hurried and they whole meal was very reasonable priced. We will be back.

Love Marleys. Great food, only disappointed we couldn't quite finish it all. Most importantly, very well set up for the 'new normal' - we felt very safe. Bathrtub gin may have helped!

My dad and I visited Marley's for our first post-lockdown meal and it didn't disappoint! The food there is always amazing and we both enjoyed main meals followed by the most delicious vegan Biscoff cake. It's a really pretty restaurant and the atmosphere was lovely. All food is made with local ingredients and there's a varied choice for all dietary requirements. Thanks Marley's ☺️

A group of 7 of us had a great meal here. Service was friendly and prompt. We all agreed that the food was great and good value. I had halloumi fries followed by a halloumi veggie burger that was probably the best veggie burger I've had anywhere. Highly recommended

Excellent meal with friends on a Saturday night. Small restaurant with a lovely ambience and friendly staff. Everyone loved their meals, my Husband and I had squid and beetroot sweet potato to start, both great but the beetroot in particular, lamb and pork belly for mains, again delicious. £80 per couple with 6 people having 3 courses and 2 having 2 courses with wine and other drinks, very reasonable.

Lunch with the girls. First person who greated us was, helpful and friendly. Took our drinks order and gave us recommendations on what to eat when asked. 3 of us decided to share the recommended Marleys board and sausage roll and chips as sides. The 4th meal was the best sticky sausage sarnie.Even though the place was busy, the food arrived in good time and was delicious. Everything went down a treat. Followed with icecream and tiramisu cake which was delightful. The place is not large. Good choices on menu for all palates. The decor is great. Several Paintings on wall from artist which are for sale. We all agree this first visit here was fantastic. The food, atmosphere, staff and value for money was excellent. A big thank you to the young lady who looked after us on 28/02 after 1430 hrs. she was amazing.Will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely place. I'm glad i booked in advance because it was busy (full) when we got there but we were a bit early so sat in the bar area for a bit while we waited for our table to be ready. The service was lovely, i should have left a proper tip but i wasn't thinking straight. Next time!

We are so lucky in folkestone to have so many good veggie and vegan restaurants. Marley’s is our new favourite place to eat. There is a really nice friendly vibe to this place and staff are excellent. Will definately be regulars here. Try the winter, warmer veg bowl it’s amazing.

Went tonight with family and have had the most delicious meal. Best starters we’ve had for a very long time. Pork belly melted in the mouth. Lovely atmosphere and attention to details even in the ladies. Thank you and we will be back can’t wait .

Dropped in for a Valentine's lunch. We were lucky and we squeezed in, but others had to be turned away, because booking is advised.I can see why.The service is great. The food is wonderful. My wife had beetroot, fennel and kale soup. I had chipolatas with chilli jam, and a side order of fries. Delicious! Followed that with homemade icecream. Equally delicious. Coffees were very good, a lovely blend with no bitter aftertaste. We drank a well chilled pinot grigio, very good, and an amazing pint of locally brewed IPA, so packed with flavour it has to be tried!Served by Rosanna we had a wonderful time; she, and all the staff are so friendly. Mark, in the kitchen, we salute you. We shall be back.

Lovely food, decor and service. First time I’ve been here and what a find! I had the Brie and pomegranate risotto fo,lowed by custard and cream slice, both were fabulous. All served with a smile and iced tap water with slice lemon, brill

Popped in to Marleys for breakfast yesterday. We had a recommendation from a friend. I’m vegetarian and my husband has decided to give up eating meat too, so we’re often on the look out for a big weekend breakfast that he’ll enjoy. The owner greeted us on arrival, and was absolutely charming. We had to wait five minutes or so for a table to become available, which was fine, but I can see this place getting busier and busier!My husband ordered the vegan breakfast and added some scrambled eggs to the order, I had the avocado on toast with the fakon bacon... so so good! My husband said it was the best breakfast he’s ever had! I am not exaggerating!

Thought we'd try Marleys for a pre cinema meal. The bubble and squeak looked pretty and was delicious. Mix of well flavoured mash and veg with crunchy bits and pomegranate seeds to add texture. Worked really well with the perfectly poached eggs on top. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Will definitely come again. Thank you!
