Such lovely food yet the service let you down. The lamb was cooked well and fell apart. Naan bread thin, crispy and tasty. Great flavours all round, Sadly we seemed to have been overlooked during our dining. We were offered one drink in the 1 hour and 45 minutes we sat in the restaurant. We also didn’t receive the chef’s complimentary amuse bouches, despite seeing other tables having them. We weren’t offered dessert or coffees either. Upon payment of the bill we did mention the service to the waiter, he said they were understaffed. Such a shame!
Excellent staff as usual and superb food.from when you walk through the door to when you leave your treated like family. Highly recommend for any occasion
Marley’s ambience is that of a hug, warm and welcoming. The food lives up to that promise - cajun-salted corn on the cob done rib-style, lime and chilli squid, succulent tuna steak and the creamiest cheesiest risotto you could ask for. The local beer and wine were delicious, too.
Just lovely, lady who was serving was super efficient and smiley, brunch was excellent very fresh and hot , I had the bubble and squeak with poached egg and a chai latte .
Would definitely recommend, booking may be necessary as busy times
After a stroll along the seafront we were ready for something to eat. Chose the mini fish and chip deal as we were planning on going out for dinner that evening! The mini meal was in fact huge- cod, chips and a large curry sauce - all for £8.99 each! Ate it overlooking the sea and it was delicious. Would definitely eat there again if in the area! ( And no, we didn't need dinner that evening!!)
We were cycling on a busy, sunny Saturday and came across this delightful cafe. The staff were warm and welcoming and offered us a secure place to park the bikes so that we could go inside to escape the sun (although there is also outside seating.) There is a good range of all day breakfast and lunch items, all of which are cooked fresh and our avocado, feta and egg on toast was perfect. Lovely coffee and cakes too!
We were staying at the Swan Hotel, so as an in house restaurant we were not disappointed.
The food was amazing, great tastes and lots of flavours, a true taste of India/Nepal.
The staff were interacting, smiling, jolly and great fun, we felt so comfortable.
We’re disappointed we don’t live closer, but we will definitely return when we’re in the area.
Was lovely but not enough snacks would have lik a toasted teacake but not on menu opted for cake it was delicious not too crowded staff friendly and helpful
Such a cute and cosy little coffee shop! We were warmly welcomed in by friendly staff and enjoyed delicious cakes and hot chocolate! After cycling all the way to Lydd from Camber sands this was just what we needed!
