Fantastic food & service in cosy & quirky surroundings! A real find, with food that’s hard to beat . Great, casual and peaceful atmosphere to enjoy an unhurried meal. Thoroughly recommend.
I’ve driven past Mama’s Hut countless times, always too close to home to stop by. What a mistake that was! Recently, I decided to give it a try, and I’m thrilled I did.
The burger stack caught my eye—the guy in front of me ordered it, and it looked impressive. But my heart was set on a simple bacon roll. Fate had other plans, though, as I ended up ordering Mama’s homemade beef burger. And let me tell you, it was excellent! The flavours, the juiciness—it was a delightful surprise.
But that’s not all. I returned to sample more of Mama’s offerings. The chicken curry transported me back to my childhood—the familiar spices, the warmth—it was like a comforting hug. And then there was the jerk chicken with jollof rice and the fried haloumi wrap. Each bite was a burst of flavour, definitely worth the short drive out.
Mama’s Hut is more than just a food stop; it’s a culinary adventure. The lovely hostess, the soulful music—it all adds to the experience. Next time I’m near the Brenzett roundabout, you can bet I’ll be making that two-minute detour to Mama’s Hut. We’ll definitely be going back! 🌟
Lovely little tearoom just by the park and round the corner from the station. I would say good value for money, friendly service and a warm welcome.
They are also run as part of the local college to allow students with learning difficulties to gain life skills so not only do you get a lovely drink and welcome, you are also helping a local business support our young people.
If you are passing go in and have a sit down, there are a few tables on the ground floor but also a room upstairs seating about 8 for meet ups, afternoon teas, etc.
If you are off to London for the day start it off with a quick visit there, they are open 10.00 till 3.00.
A little gem of a place and dog friendly as well, what is there not to love?
Great experience fun and friendly atmosphere from customers and the owners always happy to see you whether it's your first visit or you're a repeat customer
These premises ar run by a lovely family who produce and sell bakery goods of the highest quality BUT
various other sites give misleading information, they are not a restaurant nor are they permanently closed.
They are operating very nicely in the High Street, Hythe.
Producing bakery of the highest quality.
Encontramos este sitio callejeando y fue todo un acierto.
La comida buenísima, nos atendieron súper bien, se notaba todo fresco y nos quedamos muy satisfechos.
Sin duda repetiremos.
Fantastic hidden gem, a 18 hole crazy golf course featuring a lighthouse and windmill. There is also a cafe which has hot and cold food options, snacks, ice cream and tea and coffee with indoor and outdoor seating. There is also Foot Golf to try out. A great day out for all ages!
The food at the Treasure Chest is to die for. The food is beautifully presented and it tastes wonderful. Have tried nearly everything on the menu and really enjoy the different specials that come up each week.
Fantastic range of cakes all made on site. Slices, or large cakes for Parties, Weddings Birthdays etc All fresh and very reasonably priced. All to take away.
My granddaughter's choice for a Saturday morning. after walking the dogs. Today she sampled a full English breakfast, her usual hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream and a large slice of Bakewell Tart. I stuck to a bacon sandwich and a latte. Excellent food and service which couldn't be faulted.
Very friendly service, delicious fresh churros, perfect desert after a day at the beach. Would highly recommend.
Nice seating area just in front, great with kids.
