What incredible ladies, who kindly catered for our children’s christening. Nothing was to much trouble, and they were extremely helpful with our special dietary guests. A super service, delivered with smiles and even more delicious food! They even added a special little touch and decorated their truck for the occasion. A massive massive thank you as it made the day so much less stressful for me! Keep doing what you are doing because it is great!

This venue have missed a trick by not offering a decent range of allergy alternatives, not hard to achieve in this day and age just think outside the box, instead of trying to offer copy cat food offer products which champion the allergy, this would then elevate the overall appeal of the venue.

Great place, great service, delicious food. Really enjoyed the falafel bowl with bulgur and salad, and kids had pasta with tomato sauce (better than mom's at home).

We booked a Sunday lunch here for 5. We were greeted in a professional and warm manner. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the window seating which was perfect for watching the world go by on a cold December day. The Sunday iunch offered beef, pork, lamb or chicken. We chose a mixture of beef and pork, both cooked the way they should be. There was a full range of fresh vegetables. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy within, the Yorkshire pudding deserved a plate of its own! One of our party had eaten here previously so was able to recommend a lovely red wine from Chile. Will return for sure. Highly recommended.

Having been twice to eat at the Holy pundit at The Hythe Imperial which was a fantastic curry- the family were really looking forward to the Folkstone harbour venue. Firstly we were given menus only to find we had not the same menus & was told lamb was also off the menu -- this was not the best start & set out how the evening was to progress. popadoms were ok but pickles were very small portions & had to order another batch. starters were all ok but again small portions. Chicken jalfrezi was delicious, but once again missing lots of vegetables and the Dal was thin and liquidly, nothing like a dal we've had before. mains once again very small - tikki masala was the star - my king prawn buna was a disappointment 4 number prawns & not greatest taste . Overall very small portions & overpriced for what you get! The Holy Pundit seems to have lost its way a bit, wish i had stuck with my usual curry house the KOYLA at Mersham .

There is so much potential here, however it's not in the best spot and the food is just about "OK" - to be fair I wasn't expecting michelin stars and I understand the need to keep costs down - but it needs to be balanced and it currently isn't. Working more closely withthe Maize Maze may help them attract more people which would then help to improve the overall offering and quality. But for now, it's ok for a cheapish lunchtime snack with the kids.

Had a meal at Romney Bay House Restaurant and it was exceptional. A delicious array of canapes awaited, including some red pepper pearls, to accompany our pre-dinner drinks, before we were called into Dinner. A fish course, of sea bass, was our first course, which was moist and tasty, followed by Duck, again, cooked to perfection, next up was a fresh, light pastry fruit tartlet, accompanied by cinnamon ice cream, was next. The final course was a selection of cheeses, all chosen to compliment the meal and not too heavy or overpowering in taste. Coffee (or tea) and Petit fours were then served in the lounge area, to complete the meal perfectly. The service was attentive and all dietary needs were requested at the time of booking, and reiterated before the food began to be served. Highly recommended and we felt very good value, based on the quality and presentation of the meal, which was certainly en par with Michelin Starred and Rosette restaurants, that we have visited.

This is a lovely local shop and a real asset to Hythe High Street. It's a friendly place and very helpful with lovely chocolates, ice cream and coffee. What more could you want!
