Fantastic food & service in cosy & quirky surroundings! A real find, with food that’s hard to beat . Great, casual and peaceful atmosphere to enjoy an unhurried meal. Thoroughly recommend.

Had a lovely meal in Gurkha Palace. Really nice staff and the food was lovely too. Plenty big enough for a group of 13 of us with space for other customers. Plus there is parking right out the front, which is very helpful.

Amazing food and such lovely service

Really disappointing! Staff were not welcoming, or friendly, they took a long time to take our order, I had to ask for some service, when the food did appear it was not hot, and a bit bland. The whole experience was very disappointing. I definitely do not recommend and would not return.

Our family are regulars to this cafe as it serves the homely flavoured dishes. Staff are always kind & welcoming. The place is slight small yet accommodating. Food is 10/10.

Very nice selection, and the food we ordered was excellent (and they were not shy with the portion sizes!) - we will definitely be going again next time we visit Lydd.

Went for an early meal after work. Amazing food. Hot and of good quality. Chicken 65 for starters. Spicy and tasty! Mains Railway Curry - very nice Labdabar - amazing Roti - hot Rice - good Service - excellent
