CHICKEN IN VEGETARIAN MEAL. Confirmed the korma sauce is vegetarian, however after waiting an hour and 40 minutes for our food to arrive the korma sauce had a few stringy pieces of chicken in it. By this point the sauce had already been poured over meal so was all inedible. Called restaurant to be told it should be vegetarian but ‘mistakes happen’ (concerning response when it could have been an allergy/religion) and only justeat could issue refund. Won’t be returning as can no longer trust.

Fantastic value for money. Really tasty Nepalese dishes. I had a lamb dish which was tender and tasty in a lovely sauce. Just slightly spicy. Unfortunately I can't remember it's name. My husband had Chicken Shangri-la which was creamy and sweetish, flavoured with ginger. To accompany these we had pilau rice and aloo saag which was absolutely delicious. Poppadoms were included in the price. My only criticism was that food colourings appear to have been used in the pilau rice and the mint chutney which came with the Poppadoms. Charming and efficient service and a small bill. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Very quick service, lovely food

The food was great and have Indian and Nepalese flavours. We have tried Butter chicken and Chicken Madras it was yummy. The ambience was good but can be improved.

Everything was so dry, usually very good from Lemon leaf, but tonight was just a disappointment.

The restaurant was quiet with plenty of room, the staff were fantastic and friendly, the food was great and plenty of it, we had wine a starter and main all for £60 on valentine's night, my wife loved the experience like me. We recommend the lemon leaf to anyone who wants value for money.

This was a take away delivery but just wanted folks to know about the delicate, balanced flavours. I had the Lamb Kathmandu with Chicken fried rice and it was superb! The garlic and cheese naan was excellent as was the Saag paneer. We don't use salt to cook with much at home and I find that the food is not over salted. It's so refreshing to wake up the following day without that dry mouth feeling! Very much recommended!

Hate ordering take away in a Monday night as few places do it well but sometimes needs must. Literally the worst onion ‘bhaji’ I’ve ever had the experience of in my life (clay oven is the BEST) this was a few bits of sloppy greasy onion - if you can’t be bothered just reduce the menu! Curries we’re ok.. pilau rice was bemusing. Wouldn’t order again.

Excellent food and very fast delivery

After calling menu places on a Saturday night we found space at this restaurant. Very dated in terms of furniture and decor and we had to ask for the music to be put on as there was absolutely no atmosphere with only about three tables of diners. Customer service was good. Our order was taken promptly and drinks brought out quickly. Though they did forget the tap water which we had to ask for again. The food was really good. We got a selection of starters, mains and naans and everything came out hot and fresh. The food was nice and spicy with a fair few dishes having chopped chillis that you could see and remove or like me eat as a salad - they were very hot! The flavours in the curries and the chilli paneer were complex and pleasant. Only thing we found an issue with was that the noodles were a little too al dente. All in all a pleasant meal and absolutely amazing value for money. If in Folkestone again then I would definitely go there again. It says free parking at rear on the window but we could not find this. We just parked in the side street.

Absolutely vile! The onion bhajis were sloppy warm onion I've never seen anything like it! The naan might aswell have been a popadom! Never again

Food was okay, Saag rice was nice but my curry was not at all creamy as it started and didn't have any consistency because of all the oil swimming on it. Momos were okay not the best I've ever had. Delivery was on the longer end, probably won't order again, given 3 stars to be fair as it was edible.

They tried....but failed pretty miserably. Starters were poor, mixed and very tired prawns, lamb and chicken. Salad seemed like it had been out on the tops for a few days. Onion bharjis were like they were cooked in oil too cold and were very greasy. Main courses were poor quality chicken and only tikka masala was available as 'tikka', other dishes were chewy chicken. Rice was OK and plentiful. Naan bread was good. Service was nice, if a little disoriented - one dish was completely forgotten.....but they tried...

Food arrived cold and was over an hour late even after chasing the restaurant and was told it was ok its way.

Had gone there on Easter Sunday with staff for dinner at around 9 pm , the restaurant had only a couple of tables seated , we waited to be seated and we asked them for a table of 5 in which the waitress immediately sorted out the seating and then we were escorted back to our table , as soon as we were about to settle an other waiter came yelling at our table saying get-out ,ill not serve you , ill close the kitchen , when inquired with one of the new waiters he said that the guy yelling was the owner, Bro whomever you may be the owner or the waiting staff please learn how to treat your guest by the way its not my first visit to your establishment ben here more times then any other restaurant in folkstone not because of your food but because to support small businesses, and you were always under staff and ran orders to the table late By the way we also come from a hospitality backgrounds ,and we understand how difficult it is running a kitchen , but the way you treated us as if we racially discriminated,, You could hqve been more polite and we would have moved out nicely AND YOU RUINED OUR EASTER NIGHT AND WE WILL NEVER RETURN

Was tasty, but everything was almost cold. Especially sad when we live down the road.

Food very average, delivered an hour late even after we pre ordered and booked a specific delivery time. We repeatedly phoned the restaurant to try to find out what was going on with bo answer.

Samosas were burnt. Rice was mush. The King Prawn Biryani was lacking the King Prawns. Delivery was 15 minutes late, and Naan was delivered 5 mins later. Not a good experience. for the £44.20

Excellent Nepalese food. 3 miles from Eurotunnel so very convenient if you have an hour or two to spare and want a good meal at a reasonable price. Parking difficult, mostly on the road, you have to look.

Outstanding food. We ordered quite a few chicken items including wings, chicken tikka, chicken biryani, etc. Every single item was delicious.

The Shangri La chicken was very disappointing, 3 tiny pieces of meat and a carton of sauce! I will hesitate before ordering food from here again.

Very very disappointing, food was cold and tasteless. No flavour or spices whatsoever. Chicken only just cooked. Greasy and inedible. Will not be ordering from here again.

A local favourite of ours, this restaurant serves consistently excellent food by friendly and welcoming staff.

normally like lemon leaf and always have the lamb madras,, however this time it was as hot a vindaloo. I we couldnt finish eating it was so hot. the Lemon rice had no lemon flavour at all, more like a yellow mustard rice.... very disapointed ...

I ordered 1.5 hours before but still no delivery. Just it shows order delivered but I have not received it. No one is picking my call. Really frustrated and disappointed with lemon leaf.

Expected delivery time 18:10. Just Eat incorrectly reported food had been delivered at 18:05. After two calls to the restaurant, the food eventually arrived at 18:52 - over an hour an a half after it was ordered and over 40 minutes after the latest estimated delivery time. Its a shame because the food is always very good.

I love this place, the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

If I could I would give zero stars. Placed an order direct onto their website. After 1hr 30 mins I called to ask about where my order was. Bearing in mind they said on their website that the order would be delivered within 50 mins. I was told that the order was on it's way. Called back a further 30 mins later and was once again told that the order was on its way. Another 30 mins goes by, I call again and was told that the order had been missed in the kitchen and if we still wanted it we would have to wait a further 45 mins. I asked for a refund. Will never be using this restaurant again

Food was luke warm to cold! Chicken tikka masala and rice was unbearably sweet. All I could taste was sugar and coconut. Momo’s fell to pieces when picked up. The only good things were the naan and keema naan but they were also cold.

Most of it was Lovely food as always but i ordered masala chips as I’d never tried them before and they were really disappointing. Kebab shop style chips that were soggy by the time they got to me. So they went in the bin but all the other bits I ordered were spot on. Plus they gave me complimentary rice and poppadom which I hadn’t ordered so that was nice

Absolutely delicious! Better than all of the standard Indian restaurants in Folkestone where all the dishes taste the same! The Nepalese dishes really stood out! So much flavour! And being a vegetarian with very little choice usually, I was thoroughly impressed with the options! The vegetable byriani was delicious! The chana masala was the best I’ve ever had! Only thing I do have to say is that the Tarka dhal needed more garlic and a touch of salt. Cannot wait to order again!

Dansak wasn't great, bit watery, not as hot and sweet as other places. Butter chicken and momos were excellent, so all is forgiven. Will order from again
