Everest Cafe & Bar in Shepway

Our family are regulars to this cafe as it serves the homely flavoured dishes. Staff are always kind & welcoming. The place is slight small yet accommodating. Food is 10/10.

Down to earth, no frills friendly relaxed cafe/bar with food to die for and excellent value for money. Added bonus of putting the football on!

A friend and I were lost, scrabbling for a quick drink before the long walk home. No building is glowing as much as the Everest Cafe at 1:30am. Misty eyed and weary from the 0105hrs train from Ashford to Folkestone West we opened the door, unexpecting to find such warm company, after some light hearted banter, my colleague and I managed to secure to Cobra beers to take away - strike. We walked in strangers, but felt like family as we left. Will dine again, Warmest Tom

A really nice place to go with friends or families. Lovely and friendly staff. Great choices of authentic Nepalese and Indian food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Highly recommended. I will definitely visit again. Heartfelt thanks to the owner and staff who looked after us so well.

Visited with my sister on her recommendation. The cafe is just that what you would expect with spartan and functional appearance. However the welcome is very warm and they are happy to take you through their menu. It was a new experience for me Nepalese curry lunch but the dishes were extremely tasty and just as spicy as we wished for being medium to hot curry fans. They can adapt the spiciness upon request in any case. We had mains both lamb, piro and ghurkali both enjoyed greatly. The chickpea and potato side was marginally spicier but was a great side and the rice fried in butter with onion topping an excellent accompaniment. It was just right size for lunch. There are many starter dishes to try on another occasion. Thank you Everest for your warm welcome and fine food. Hope to see you again soon👍

What a lovely lovely evening marvellous food and a really nice place to go with friends... we had a selection of starters to share ( quite a big selection!!) I think we had one of everything! Would recommend it and will be back! Chilli momos!!!! Omg

When the snow is blowing in your face ( I think ive just improved a Dylan song)....and you want to get out of the cold ,you could do worse than the Everest Spice bar.I watched the football on a large screen and ate chicken momo , chilli wings and pani puri .With a beer and chasers it was about 20 quid. Good warm Gurkha hospitality and fare.Snow in March? Gurkhas? "Were you mountaineering in the Himalayas?" I hear you say...... No,Dear Reader, I was shopping in Cheriton high street having just backed Liverpool to win.

We love the Everest! It is family friendly and very reasonably priced. Delicious, authentic Nepalese food. Will definitely be back for more!!

I have never had more authentic nepali food outside of Nepal. Very delicious food and freindly staffs. Definitely going back and highly recommend it.

Sat down for 20 minutes. Completely ignored Goodnight Vienna Waiter didn't know the difference between draught and bottled 🍻

Regularmente visitamos este café siempre que estemos en calle cherition. La comida es genial, me encanta el Momo y la choumine contradictoria pero el camarero siempre es tarde para tomar los pedidos. Una vez que la orden se toma comida viene a su debido tiempo. Excelente trabajo de los empleados de la cocina. El único problema que tengo con este café es el personal no ser proactivo.

Always worth a try if u love Nepalese food, as for me I go here once or twice a week. Nice food, lovely staffs, homely environment and excellent food as always, Can't wait to have another try soon <^>

He estado yendo a este restaurante una vez una quincena de así durante unos cuantos años. No te dejes desanimar por el interior básica la comida es muy buena. Se basa en Folkestone con una gran comunidad de Nepal encontrará muchos de ellos comiendo aquí por las noches, Sin duda una señal de que se puede conseguir su comida favorita local recién preparado y a la orden. Recomiendo encarecidamente todo en el menú el Momo es genial y el cordero Piro es deliciosa.

excellent food and drink all at very reasonable prices staff very friendly and good service on down side seats very hard and sometimes gets a bit noisy from younger customers if you are just out for a quiet meal
