Androus Cafe in Shepway

Had cheese omelette and chips. The chips were hot and not bad but the cheese omelette was, by far, the worst I've ever had. The cheese was almost tasteless and was rubbery. The omelette was dry and cold. Made me feel quite sick. Will never return.

Adequate, emergency basic food sort of cafe. A touch expensive, but to be expected peak holiday time in a coastal town. The meal was fresh and acceptable. I'd rather hoped to have proper chips than a cheap mountain of fries. Counter staff pleasant .

I started going here not long ago, and I can actually say it's perfect here!! Proper decent breakie, that isn't greasy. Staff are lovely, especially sahavanna. Love her. Very quick food arrival, too. If you're on a budget as well, great prices too I would absolutely recommend this cafe for your traditional English breakfast!!

Lovely staff and excellent food

It was our first time here, the food was tasty and the service was outstanding. The only thing stopping me from giving a full 5 stars is the dirty table and glass.

Very good prices esp compared to where we usually go. Food came out fast & eggs were cooked perfectly (no snot lol) Also love that that you don't have to stick to set menus & can create your own breakfast. Would recommend & will definitely be our new brekkie cafe

This was our first visit to this Cafe and we were pleased with the service and food. The menu is varied and we were spoilt for choice. The prices are reasonable and we enjoyed our meal. The place was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing and we did not have to wait long for our food. There are toilets available. We certainly will visit again soon.

Definitely my favourite cafe in Folkestone. Good food, decent portions, decent price. Definitely value for money and I'm fussy about my tea but I will say the lady makes a excellent cup of tea as well. Good job!

I decided to walk up Tontine Street from the harbour this morning to look for a cheap breakfast and saw the cafe. Checked out the menu and went in. I went for a small Korkers (kentish sausage) breakfast with coffee or tea included.. It was lovely and the coffee was nice.. Served with toast too.. Needless to say I cleared my plates and feel ready to check out the shops. Thank you so much.

Auf der Suche nach einem Full English Breakfast landeten wir in diesem Cafe. Die Einrichtung ist typisch für ein Frühstücks Cafe. Einfach und sauber. Die Speisekarte bietet die üblichen Kombinationen an Frühstücksplatten. Die Preise sind angemessen, der Service freundlich und die Zubereitungszeit ist nicht sehr lang. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Have been coming here for a couple of years now mainly for a coffee and occasional food, The staff here are always incredibly friendly, the coffee is good, and the food is cooked fresh and of a great quality and is extremely great value for money.

Been visiting this place regularly over the past couple of years but never thought to review it until today. Since the pandemic they've been adhering to all guidelines effectively. Hand sanitiser by the door, social distancing, always kept clean. The staff are very friendly, one of the main reasons I come here so often. The food is top notch and arrives quickly. The breakfasts are to die for and they know how to make a proper cuppa! Androus is always my first port of call when I'm in this area of Folkestone and I highly recommend everyone to try the place.

Keeping it traditional and simple over the years. This overall is my favourite of the genre. Quality ingredients, good prices and great service too. Love it. And Tontine Street is getting back to the gem that it was in the 1960's.

I totally love this cafe. It sticks to traditional, good quality, non-greasy breakfasts + other English cafe items like jacket potatoes, omelettes etc, which are always excellent. Prices remain good and the service is lovely. It is clean and the food produce is good quality. I eat here often and out of choice (not because it is cheap). It is a part of the wonderful character of Folkestone and I nearly always leave smiling from my time there. Keep up the excellent work!

We visited Adrous Cafe on our first trip to Folkstone and were amazed at the excellent quality of the food and excellent value for money. The waitress was polite, friendly and helpful. The food was cooked fresh, l liked the mushrooms and local sausage. If I visit Folkstone again, we'll be back.

Excellent breakfat at a reasonable price. Helpful friendly staff. Don't appear to be open Sunday AM. No trading hours on shop window. Bugger!!!

Tontine St is mainly arty but this modern café is a no frills place for a coffee, or a full breakfast. You order at the rear counter and your meal is brought out. Open in the mornings before most other places are in business, or in the case of the Chinese, refurbishing. I found the formica tables handy to look at some paperwork, and mid morning the café was not full. Fairly clean and probably popular with people engaged in regenerating the local area. Not much natural light to rear.
