Great place for breakfast, light lunch or coffee and delicious cakes. Eric and Nicky along with Laura make everyone welcome.

Visited three times in one week, once for tea and cake, once for lunch, and once for breakfast. Never disappointed. Eric is a welcoming host ably backed up in the kitchen by Vicky. Never disappointed. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon exceptional. Cakes, all baked locally, historic. Well supported by locals so advance booking recommended. Under current management since June 2021 so please ignore all reviews before that date.

I enjoyed my visit to the Coffee Cabin Tea Room. It is a small but cosy place and the atmosphere was relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and well presented. There is a good selection on the menu and the cakes looked absolutely delicious. I will try them on my next visit. It is on a bus route and there is a stop opposite the Tea Room. Just be careful when crossing the road.

If you are passing, you should definitely stop here for breakfast. Absolutely delicious food. Lovely welcoming people and a fabulous little cafe. Thank you!!!

I booked a takeaway afternoon tea for 20 people, for my mum's 82nd birthday. Absolutely delicious and plenty of it. Also they were able to cater for myself as Gluten free, brilliant. Lovely helpful people. Highly recommend. Thank you again

This is a fabulous gem of a coffee shop - dropped in for coffee and cake today on our way to visit friends and it was a perfect experience. Excellent and thoughtful service, great coffee and excellent cake in a lovely cafe with plenty of customers and friendly chats - thank you!

Really nice little stop off with great service and food. Indoor and outdoor seating. It can get a bit cramped on busy days but pricing and quality make up for that.

On our holiday staying in Sibton park. Me and my husband fancied a little walk around the village and stopped at the coffee cabin for a coffee and cake. First time visit and the welcome was amazing. Eric and Vicky were so welcoming and to be able to sit outside to enjoy this fabulous weather was a really treat. When we come back again we will definitely pop in.

Haven’t only recently moved to the area we are still getting used and trying to find new places to visit. Small, quant coffee shop we weren’t sure before we entered of what we were going to get as only one other table in there at the time but owner told us we had missed the breakfast rush! Food was fantastic- great quality produce and expertly cooked. Very tasty and at a very good price. Very friendly staff and you felt appreciated that you visited. Parking 100 yards up the road at the library car park and by the time we left the cafe was busy again. Will definitely be back and can imagine will be regulars.

This is a very friendly village cafe. We went for lunch and I had jacket potato with tuna/ cheese which was served with salad. It is dog friendly. Very clean.

Brilliant little hidden gem, snuggled in deepest darkest Kent! Delicious freshly cooked locally sourced ingredients and piping hot, with lovely tea to wash it down. Mmm Breakfast done right!

We visited this morning as a group of six cyclists. We booked in advance and a table was awaiting us. Our orders were quickly taken and promptly delivered. The proprietors and staff were friendly and helpful and everyone was very happy with their order. We would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you.

Excellent breakfast and coffee/tea. My wife is a coeliac and she was delighted to find that the full English was gluten free, they also had gluten free bread. The service was very good.

Great cooked breakfast and sausage sandwiches. Owners keen to help and my special order of cold baked beans just happened without any fuss. I would recommend this place for breakfast or even casual tea / coffee and cake.

Excellent, cosy and delicious cafe offering everything you need from excellent breakfasts to tea and cake. They were careful with my allergies without being overly stressed by it which was a relief. The chap running the place was very friendly. We stopped here on our pilgrimage on the old way and the breakfasts gave us a big fuel boost. You can see how good it is by Dave absolutely tucking into his delicious breakfast here. 5 stars.

Lovely little find set in the beautiful village of Lyminge. Not overly large so I would suggest booking as very busy. Friendly welcome and made to feel right at home. Quick service, nice choice for breakfast or lunch, with lots of delightful cakes to choose from. We had the Victoria sponge, which was light and fluffy. My only complaint really is that the beans on toast could have had two slices of bread for the price.

I was meant to be having a meeting here and nobody turned up so I used it as an excuse to have an impromptu fry up with my other half. Absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend. There’s not much room for prams but we just left ours outside. There would be some room inside if you can fold your pram though! Very welcoming and great atmosphere.

We were staying near Lyminge and visited twice. An excellent light lunch (paninis and a chilli jacket potato) and a full English breakfast which was the best I’d tasted in years. Everything hot, fresh, and tasty and served by friendly and professional people. Clearly this is also very much a community hub as well as catering for visitors. A real gem!

We visited this sweet place for the best cappuccino almost every other day. Service was great and the owners, Eric and Nikki were so kind and helpful.

What a wonderful cafe, my husband and I ended up stranded in the area, as our motorbike had broken down. The 2 chaps who run the cafe were wonderfully welcoming, despite being super busy they were happy for us to take up one of their lovely tables until the breakdown van arrived. The breakfast sandwiches were amazing, the coffee was great and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. If you are nearby please do drop in, it’s an absolute gem

Just had a lovely visit, sat outside in the sun watching the many cyclists go by. Got chatting to a couple of locals (with their Jack Russell) who were really friendly. As was the owner and other local customers that came in and out. Certainly made us feel very welcome. Also great coffee and tea and nice to get a biscuit with it too. So many places don't provide that little extra bit of hospitality. We'll be returning to try the cake next time 😁

When we first walked into the cabin, it felt so homely. It was so bright and spotlessly clean. We were welcomed by very friendly staff. Our service was great & the food was delicious. We would highly recommend it there.

Highly recommend Afternoon Tea at The Coffee Cabin. Very friendly and homely atmosphere. Table set up was lovely, especially cups and saucers. Gluten free sandwiches, scones and coffee cake were very delicious.

A group of us had breakfast here and we were all very happy with the atmosphere, service and portions in the Coffe Cabin. It is clean, comfortable and relaxed and we won't hesitate to recommend to friends and family and will definitely be returning.

Just reopened under new management. Staff are welcoming and friendly. So lovely to have our village cafe open. We have visited twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Service and food were excellent on both occasions.

Slow, grumpy, panini was totally over cooked and the only other table in the place got served so slowly that 2 of them had nearly finished before the others got their food!

Had a pleasant experience while dining with work mates for the "Friday Fry-up". Very nice Vegetarian breakfast, not the cheapest but certainly tasty and freshly made. I would definitely recommend the Coffee Cabin for drinks, food and a generally nice ambiance but a wait will be needed if busy.

Lovely cafe very friendly service I'm glutten free lady that served me checked what I could have gf toast poached eggs bacon gf cake even bought the margarine to me to check I could have it nothing was to much trouble almond milk for drinks...

You can get a great breakfast here with local produce. Everything is cooked to order with friendly service. It can be busy at times but that reflects the Cabin's popularity!

But really, still cash only business in 2019? Do you really expect to pay your taxes? Because accepting cards is not expensive anymore...

This is a very quaint place to eat and drink! The young girl that served us was very polite, very helpful and gave the impression that no request was too big. Would really recommend this place to anybody.
