The best restaurants serving Greek food in South East

Wonderful place! The starters / tapas were generous and tasty. The mains were huge, very filing and full of flavour. Great service too. A real treat.

It used to be a great place to eat. Through time I've noticed a considerable drop in quality and portions whilst prices went up. If you order at home, the food is not even near to what you will get at the restaurant. I once ordered the Greek salad at home and half of it was onions. It was good to see that they upgraded to a much bigger space these days, but hopefully they consider to make the food what it used to be a while ago when they read my review. I would give a few more stars, as I had previously rated them with 5, but the owner spoke with attitude when we light a ciggarete sitting outside in the old restaurant, whilst we were regular customers and without any signance disallowing it which we would have respected. I recently heard that they spoke bad and made a scene to another friend of mine for saying the the fries were cold and the owner made a scene to a pregnant woman for having said that. I prefer to make homemade wraps at home due to the above and wait for the next trip to Greece for proper Greek food. Next time book a trip to Greece, it will cost less and the food will be amazing.

Been a few places in Southampton . This tops them all. Gives off a real Greek feeling in the restaurant . Lovely family. Smashing food I’ve never left this place upset. Just very happy and full. Thankyou for not cutting corners

Had a superb meal here, the owners were very knowledgeable about gluten which being coeliac is a rare find. Highly recommended

Valentines meal with usual friendly staff, but with live music. Great food as always.

Yet to try Dine-in food / experience but I hear good things. Best pizza in the village however really grinds my gears that they advertise takeaway pizza available from 5-8:30 Sunday evenings and then refuse to comply with what they have advertised, they claim because it’s winter they don’t offer that during that time. False advertising and has left a sour taste in my mouth towards this place.

A very friendly, happy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was amazing. Big portions too. Highly recommend for a night out.

Needed to be fed and rang on the off chance that they could feed us fairly late in evening. No problem, told to pop round ASAP. Friendly welcome on arrival. Excellent meal with 1/2 litre of wine in jug. Just about right. Sad news , they are closing in the new year and staff going back to the "Greek" in Maidstone. We are not islanders and only two places would dare the eat on the island, here and a little micro pub in Queenbourgh. :) Crying shame but classic case of use it lose it.

It's raining and it's 4 degrees outside. The conveyor belt is turning and soon you will collect yours. You are present with your body but your mind and your soul are still there in your last vacation. If you have been in Greece or islands around like Cyprus and you feel a knot in your throat dreaming the friendly people you left and the warm environment surrounded by fun, smiles, drink and food, just relax, you can have back the same emotions at the Santorini restaurant. Seat at the table and close your eyes, the music is that one and there are lots of pictures and postcards from there, you will recognise where you have been just days before. And this is just the side, let's talk about the main: delicious souvlaki, tasty moussaka, melt in mouth beef stifado and you are back in the hellenic flavours. Mezze for everyone and vegetarian too. Dolmades, tzatziki, halloumi, lountza and spanakopita are there waiting for you as well as the owner and his wife, what amazing persons. Do not forget to drink the suggested wine, he knows perfectly what to give according to your order. Santorini restaurant in Hazlemere Cross Roads and you will feel with the Olimpian's Gods.

Ordered delivery on Friday 14 March 2025. Food warm not hot. Pastitsio had red peppers in it ... .why?? Can't eat peppers!! Had to pick the bits out and could still taste the peppers. My partners order arrived without the tzatziki ... wouldn't eat from there again. Very disappointing!

We visited this restaurant while in Margate for a short trip from London. We only had appetizers, and while the portions were quite small, everything was well-prepared. Unfortunately, my husband had to leave unexpectedly due to some unexpected news, but he paid before heading out. I stayed to finish the wine, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. Our waiter provided great service, and my husband tipped him well. If we find ourselves in Margate again, we’d be happy to return!

Really disappointed. Booked for 7:30 PM on a Sunday, arrived at 7:34 PM, reservation cancelled. Never will be there again despite great food.

Excellent service. Needed a quick meal in between train journeys. The service was immaculate and fast. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Went for a takeaway for two people at lunch time. Ordered a cold mezze and a meat platter. The food was good but way too expensive at £59.95, was worth maybe £40 considering it was lunch only. My second visit but I won’t visit again as much better value innBodrum in Cowley Road which is also good food

We enjoyed a superb Groupon menu lunch. All the dishes were so tasty and beautifully presented. The very best part of our experience was the greeting and service we received from the warm, friendly and very hospitable Kasha. This lovely lady is a real asset to your organisation. Thank you so much for a really memorable meal.
