Good fish and chips with good service well worth a visit to sit outside and enjoy the view. Batter was crisp and not greasy and the fish taster fresh. Enjoyable meal.

First visit to Pobi Bakery, ordered the picnic box for lunch. Amazing, such a lovely treat. The two girls were really friendly. Would definitely recommend this bakery.

We've been in three times now to Visit and Taste and have never been disappointed. There is a good range of drinks and the Polish food on offer is fantastic - well cooked, flavoursome, healthy, and warming. We've had zurek, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, goulash, and potato pancakes - all delicious and always served with a smile. A must visit if in Banbury!

Our cycling group of 15 called in for lunch on a Sunday. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and arrived swiftly with a smile. They even apologised for a non existent delay in getting the food to us.

Fabulous food and friendly service Sad to hear it was closing. Would highly recommend the house slaw and toasted sticky fig and bacon sandwich.

Second Visit: Disappointing Compared to the First! My first visit to The Touring Club left a lasting impression—minimalistic Scandinavian design, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent food and drinks. Unfortunately, my second experience didn’t quite live up to the same standards. The sleek black exterior and Scandi-inspired interior remain highlights. The glass roof and open kitchen add charm, while the mix of bar seating, window stools, and cozy tables offers versatility. On this visit, I sat upstairs at the long communal table before moving downstairs as seats became available. However, space management remains an issue. By 2:15 PM, the venue felt cramped when a group of five arrived. The food aromas were present but not overwhelming, and the view of the chefs from the bar seating is still a nice touch. The Beef Sliders: Disappointingly dry, with average-quality meat. The kimchi and cheese added some flavor but lacked the moisture or richness a good sauce could have provided. The Crab and mango Salad: A lackluster dish with a small portion for the price. While the pesto was passable, the crab was underwhelming, and the accompanying vegetables didn’t elevate the dish. Gin Basil Smash cocktail : A letdown this time—less intensity and balance compared to my previous visit. The drink lacked the vibrant flavors I had enjoyed the first time. The team is warm but seemed somewhat overwhelmed - the wait for order was long and had to come down to ground level to prompt. Also be aware of a food service break between breakfast and lunch (12:30–1:00 PM) creates a gap where no food is served, which could be inconvenient for some diners.

Came for just tapas and drinks, food was amazing and reasonably priced and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the different spurts and recommended well. Nice atmosphere

I found this on the recommendation of my physiotherapist at the local hospital. Wow! What good advice. The coffee blend I had was probably the best I have had. I go out for coffee every day and this was superb. Extremely happy to recommend this place. Very friendly staff.

Back in the day this would have been a smart establishment and it's trying to hold it's head high despite now facing a bus terminal. The signature main course was beef bourginon but despite being the first guests of the evening, there was none. We were about to leave but chose the Christmas turkey roast instead. Lucky we did because it was really very good
