The Waffle Market in Brighton and Hove

A hidden gem that you must visit. Attentive service, delicious food cooked to perfection. A feast to the taste buds. I would highly recommend a visit. We visited for a special occasion and were blown away.

A great cafe right 9on the beach slightly west of the King Alfred Leisure cente. Dog friendly and an ideal location. O. A warm sunny day. Plenty of seating. A choice of a variety of hot and cold drinks with a choice of snacks. friendly service

A friend recommended this place , we went there on a Sunday and it was last service, about 30 minutes left for it to close. Staff at the place seemed disinterested and impolite. Having worked 12hour weekly shifts in hospitality and I understand the stress, but the unprofessionalism and lack of warmth was so evident in the supervisor/waiter’s behaviour and actions. We obliged to wait outside as we knew the restaurant was closing , We got out fish and chips a while later by the same staff member who seemed very disinterested and unhelpful to provide what we paid for. I was hoping for the price I’d get really good fish n chips, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, tasted like the fillet had been fried in the last of day’s oil , tasted cancerous and soggy with the burnt aftertaste of over fried batter , HORRENDOUS. For such steep prices , disgusting quality, no professionalism, dry stale chips. I still can’t forget the taste. Tasted like pollution. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Stunning lunch at Fourth and Church yesterday! Five star, fine dining and top notch service.. with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Great value lunch set menu, nice portion size with gorgeous flavours! Our servers Ruby and Peter really knew their stuff! They were both so attentive and second guessed all our needs, offering great advice on wine and even offering a taster on one we’d commented on. They made our day! And the food was next level too. Chef’s kiss! Well done on all your recent awards! Hugely deserved, we shall be back !!!
