RYBKA (the fish likes to swim) in Brighton and Hove

Visited Rybka having seen great reviews on here. The service is very friendly and the food was good. The mushy peas in particular were excellent, the best I’ve had in any fish and chips place. Recommended.

Great location in the middle of the Lanes. Perfect fish and chips. Would recommend to families or groups of friends or couples. Great staff, music, good beers - and fantastic vodkas too. The boss was even kind enough to escort us to the Secret Comedy Club round the corner at the end of our meal. Thank you!

Quite simply the best fish and chips we have had in years. Cod was lovely and light, not at all greasy and the crispiest batter I can recall. The chips were out of this world, crispy, fluffy and not a trace of grease in sight. Kids had the fish fingers and I had food envy when they came - a gem of a place and so quaint and cosy. We were made to feel like we were the only diners and we couldn't be more impressed or satisfied. A must try for fish and chips when in Brighton.

Excellent fish and chips. We had the fish supper for two which was very good quality, fresh and value for money. The platter also came with curry sauce, mushy peas and tartare sauce. Well recommended especially accompanied with a glass of white wine, we will return at some point despite being over 200 miles away

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food. Chips were fluffy and not greasy and scampi was tasty. Decorated with lot of plants which felt wholesome. Lots of variety for beverages.

This is easily one of the best fish & chips I ever had, really fresh and crispy fish with lovely chips. Great atmosphere too, at the hart of the lanes, we were lucky to be sitting outside in a sunny day. Amazing!
