The best Turkish restaurant in Brighton. I'm sure you'll enjoy every meal. Other times you may not want to go anywhere else, so be careful about that :)

Absolutely delicious! I was with a Turkish woman, so I asked her to order for both of us to share. She ordered Lamb Beyti and Yogurtlu Lamb, both were great, but the Beyti was a revelation to me. Also the staff were super friendly and it’s very reasonably priced! I couldn’t recommend it more!

Visiting Brighton for a few days. We ordered the Adana Kebap which is lamb mince on skewer. The meat was freshly made in the open kitchen. The meat had good flavour, slightly chewy but enjoyable. The service was great, very friendly and helpful staff. Family-friendly restaurant, with beautiful decor.

Friendly staff who really looked after us without fussing. Great menu with lots of fabulous traditional dishes to choose from. Nice uncomplicated wine list and everything was reasonably priced. Quality and presentation of the dishes was visably stunning and had beautiful flavours. Location is only a short easy walk from the sea front and the hotels. Highly recommended.

While waiting for the food, you are served nan bread with dips on the house. Then comes your order.. complimentary goes to the chef as the food is so 10 out of 10, waiter (Neil) and waitress who are so friendly.. making sure we are receiving the best service.

Absolutely loved this return visit. Amazing food and great service. With a family of 5 we had a combination of lamp and chicken kebabs with a few cold sides. Will definitely return! I've been here many times over the years and it's sad to see this place has just been declining and falling short. The food isn't great anymore.And the atmosphere seems to be really dull. Last time I went with friends and family and all ended up with stomach pains and vomiting. Hope they can bring it back up to a high standard. All the best to you!

I was there yesterday with my partner for dinner and I will say briefly, it was worth it. The food was delicious, the portion was large, I couldn't eat everything, it was a shame to leave it on the plate. I really have a nice experience in this restaurant. The service was nice, the interior was very colorful, the kitchen at first glance clean and organized. The chef deserves applause for the great preparation of the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A beautiful looking restaurant, the aesthetic of the place is incredible and is matched with the high quality of food that they produce. Of all the Turkish places I've been to in Brighton, this is definitely my favourite as it's run by the most respectable people you will ever meet. Their mannerism, their social etiquette, their honour, their service is unmatched

Ate here for a large (3+ families) meal last year. Portion sizes were generous and food was tasty, we'd had takeaway before and enjoyed the dine-in experience as well. Staff were great, happy with our visit here.

Make sure you try their home-made chilli sauce!

We have been visiting Ephesus for years and our latest visit did not disappoint. The restaurant has an inviting interior which feels authentic and traditional. A juicy, succulent Kuzu Kulbasti had my partner mesmerised. I tasted some and was awed by the tender meat. This dish is really quite something. My Kremali Tavuk excelled. There were so many pieces of chicken bathing in the delicious creamy sauce. It was most comforting on the chilly night. Baklava and Turkish tea and coffee followed. A splendid meal.

One of the best grills in Brighton. The food is delicious and we ordered the mixed grill. The lamb ribs were awesome! The portions are generous so definitely come on an empty stomach. The service is excellent and has a great cosy atmosphere inside. This place has become a firm favourite. Keep up the good work guys!

Get this…..was part of a party of 60! These guys were so organised and right on it from the very start. If that wasn’t the food was outstanding! Seriously this was one great effort and 60 people left very satisfied!

We visit Brighton 2 or 3 times a year for a day trip and always pop in here for lunch. It was a Friday about 139 and it was empty! Always previously been busy. Food still very good and prices reasonable. Shame no atmosphere.

We visited Ephesus on a Friday evening whilst staying in a hotel locally. Having read reviews prior to booking I had high expectations. I was not disappointed at all. Although the restaurant was quiet on our arrival at around 7.25 it was clear it got busier as the evening went on. Food was excellent, very traditional Turkish style food. Brought to the table quickly and well presented by the very attentive staff members. Large portions unfortunately meant no room for dessert. But maybe this was better for my waistline 😀 Meal finished with a lovely Turkish coffee. Would certainly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

This restaurant is so welcoming with a cosy setting, and so close to the seafront. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh, it was probably the best falafel I have ever had! The portions are big, but everything is worth trying, could not recommend more !

The food was really delicious and there was a large selection of different dishes. In addition, the staff was incredibly nice and made you feel very comfortable. Like the main courses, the desserts were also delicious. The restaurant is highly recommended.

I ordered online, and the experience was disappointing. The food arrived cold and poorly packaged. Additionally, the quality didn’t match what I’ve had before. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from here again.

One of if not the best restaurants I've had the pleasure to eat in me and my wife shared the platter for two and it's was incredible! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area and the staff a brilliant!

I visited this restaurant with my son a few days ago. We loved everything: the delicious food, the huge portions, the very friendly staff, and the wonderful cozy design. The open kitchen, which is not something you see often, was a nice touch. I sincerely wish the restaurant many grateful guests. We will definitely be back.

Visited at 21:00 on pride weekend. Fantastic food, large portions and very welcoming. Short walk from the seafront, and the Hilton Hotel. The service was fantastic.

We went there as party of five. The food is not authentic and is toned down to suit the local palate with overly creamy and rich sauce topping everything. The dishes are not cheap and one hopes for a better experience than this. I had to send one dish back and thankfully that was not added to the bill. I cannot recommend this. Try Constantinople instead.

I love the ambiance at this restaurant, the lighting is so pretty and adds to the atmosphere. Food was delicious and I think reasonably priced for the portion size. I had the lamb ribs and my friend had the lamb stew. Good Turkish beer and wine made it feel like being there.

Always lovely to come back to Ephesus when visiting Brighton. I have to say this is a must! Amazing food, lovely and warm staff, and ofcourse the atmosphere is unlike any other. You can clearly see they are putting a lot of love into what they do! It's close to the beach, so Ephesus is perfect after a day out. 🧿❤️

Unaware that our hotel restaurant was unavailable this evening, we suddenly needed to find somewhere to eat close by, and found this little gem. Staff were super friendly and squeezed us in for a table for two even though we didn't have a reservation and they were very busy, and for good reason. Our food was was delicious, and there was a good selection for veggies too. The garlic flatbread was to die for. Highly recommend!

Stumbled across this restaurant by chance last night, and what a treat! The food was AMAZING, best halloumi I've ever tasted. It was one of those meals you never want to end as everything tasted so good. Staff and decore was spot on too, cannot recommend highly enough.

I have never had a worse experience having booked a place then arriving 5 minutes later explaining why and being so rudely turned away. The staff were so unwelcoming and my partner and I felt unncomfortable and felt very unwelcome

Family day out end of May bank holiday. Great food. Went for lamb chops, Iskender, Ephesus Special and some extra chips and of course hummus. Only small issue was one of the waiters with tats asked if we could order everything at once as it’s easier for the kitchen. I asked are you that busy seeing as one big table was about to leave and only a table of two behind us. No reply and I advised we’re not ready to order the mains so we’ll just start with drinks and hummus if you don’t mind. Awkward start from the go but food made up for it. Everything was tasty. Even the salad with pomegranate and red onion salad. Everything tasted fresh. I’m a chef at an Indian takeaway so I’d like to think I know my food.

I have tried the most famous turkish restaurants in turkey , but ephesus will always be my favorite shop to have a good quality kebab. The portion and presentation is great, a bit expensive but worth every penny !!! My first time trying their food was in 2016 and it’s amazing how they kept their quality since. You got to try you will never regret it .

The food was outstanding. But I got quite uncomfortable quite quickly. As I was enjoying my food with my partner(white)and her father. I glanced over at staff and they were openly laughing and smirking at me ,as I was eating my food. Which made me think the worst. Have they done something with it? Are they mocking me? Or am I just being paranoid. But as a black man unfortunately I’m quite used to open racism. By no means am I calling anyone racist. But I definitely felt out of place. I did enjoy the food. But I will not go back.

My wife and I ate at this bustling and delightful restaurant last night. We were given complementary pitta bread & dips and the portions are very generous, so unless you are super hungry so what we did and share a main (the mixed grill kebab was more than enough) and leave room for one of their amazing desserts! The food was superb, the service attentive and the fact that there was Turkish people eating there says it all really. Honestly can’t fault this place.

This people are ripping off! We asked can we have just one lamb shish square, they said yes but then they bring us a full dish!! And tell we did ask for that, then they said we just have like that!!

A fabulous experience from start to finish. Warm welcome, great atmosphere, brilliant food and a lovely smooth wine. Late lunch for sis in law and me, complimentary pita with olives, garlicky tzatziki and spicy tomato dip was a great start followed by lamb fillet with chicken in a mushroom cream sauce. Everything was delicious, great quality and quantity, so much so we needed a doggy bag. Our first visit, not our last. Thoroughly recommended.

Since moving to Brighton some four years' ago we have been carrying out our own survey of the best Turkish restaurants in Brighton and this one has gone in pole position! Had a really lovely meal last night - very good quality meat and other ingredients. The kebabs were beautifully tender and the starters were very varied and each well cooked - not oily. Very good vegetarian selection. Couldn't help but look at the platters and dishes being delivered to other tables - everything looked amazing and just wish we could have eaten more!! I think it is the variety and quality of the cooking which made this restaurant stand out. Also it has a really lovely 'taverna' atmosphere and the bill was £20 LESS than we expected!!!!

Lovely place with excellent food ❤️ You can see the chefs working on the grill through the big window of the kitchen and the food there looks awesome 😍 I wish I can try more dishes in the restaurant but I was not very hungry at that moment... The halloumi salad was perfect. Everything in the plate were well balanced. The lamb spare ribs were excellent. The ribs were crispy outside and still very juicy inside. Everything in this restaurant was amazing. We had an enjoyable night ☺️
