Terre a Terre

Regency, Brighton and Hove, >100£
28/08/2018: Tried it on a saturday night on bank holiday weekend. Food is Tasty, but in our opinion nothing spectacular, bit pricey . atmosphere more average, not really cosy. Service is average.
27/08/2018: I'm not a vegetarian but my partner is and thought I would like to try Terre a Terre.

The Duck on the Pond

Banbury Grimsbury and Castle, Cherwell
28/08/2018: I was pleasantly surprised by the options offered for Vegtarians on the menu - I ordered the sweet potato burger and it was absolutely fantastic! Having tried many different veggie burgers this must have been the best one I’ve had so far. Great food, speedy and friendly service & lovely location. Will be back!
28/08/2018: Dont know how they can justify prices. Typical of Oxfordshire. In Lancashire I pay about 35% less for the same quality. Cant justify the cost even for a special occasion. Better value available in several Banbury pubs in town.

St. Peter's and North Laine, Brighton and Hove
11/08/2018: This is the first time that I have visited the cafe, although I have previously eaten their delicious Falafels.
06/08/2018: Came across this lovely little gem, purely by chance when we were seeking a seat out of the sun! And I have to say that the falafel and feta wrap was one of the most delicious things I've ever had - fresh and flavoursome. Just yummy!

Frank's Restaurant and Mussel Bar

West Malling and Leybourne, Tonbridge and Malling
28/08/2018: I love mussels.. it's such a simple dish and so often restaurants mess it up..
27/08/2018: Anyone and everyone in West Malling knows that if you want a good quality, well-priced meal and are a lover of seafood, you go to Franks.

Sofias Colombian Kitchen

Park, Tunbridge Wells
19/08/2018: We have eaten at Sofia’s house on several occasions and thoroughly enjoyed the food. When we wanted to have a party to celebrate our birthdays we remembered the delicious and tasty food Sofia and Kitt cook from scratch. Not wanting to go through the stressful process of catering for over 20 guests, we decided that the Colombian food Sofia and Kitt cook would be ideal to share with our family and friends. Sofia and Kitt arrived promptly and organised everything; food, decorations, table cloths, music etc. Sofia is an excellent ‘host’ which ensures everyone has a thoroughly enjoyable evening. It is not possible to fully describe the wonderful smell and taste of the food. Delicious pork ribs, sausages, chicken, shredded beef and pork, superb dips, yams, new potatoes in a tasty tomato sauce, rice, etc etc etc. Plenty of superb food, beautifully presented and served, with Sofia and Kitt ensuring the event was a success. Will definitely use again.
05/08/2018: Ordered a load of takeaway food from Sofia for my partners birthday BBQ, and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered empanadas - both beef and veggie options, coconut rice, patacones, beans and a Colombian style salsa (called ají). Sofia packed it all up nicely, so it was easy to dish out.

Cafe Buendia

Henley North, South Oxfordshire
31/08/2018: What a lovely little friendly restaurant. Only popped in as at last minute and so glad I did. Pleasent surroundings, friendly staff and and lovely pizza. I went for the medium American Hot and really enjoyed it, so much better than going to one of the main chains. Would certainly consider going back when in Henley again.
24/08/2018: It was midday and the town square eateries with their plastic menus did not appear attentive or interested...... so a short stroll down Bell Street brought us to Cafe Buendia where, even though they were busy, we received a warm welcome and prompt attention.

Central Hove, Brighton and Hove
27/08/2018: Visited for an anniversary meal.
27/08/2018: Loved the staff but tables really close and the steak was fine but not the best. I'd rate the service but not a special meal.

Jukes Bar & Kitchen

Wish, Brighton and Hove
25/08/2018: Excellent food , good home cooked and wholesome. Taste was superb. Fantastic atmosphere and great music. Friendly and warm staff.
12/08/2018: Wandering along Portland Road on Sunday we saw Jukes bar and gave it a go for lunch! Suprisingly it was quiet with not many people in. There was good music playing a really friendly welcome from the family owners and the food was great. We had Jerk Chicken and Mac pie with rice. Really tasty! then had homemade rum and chocolate brownie and lemon and ginger cake. Although quiet i can imagine its got a good vibe when busier so will definitely be going back. Lunch for 2 plus a pint each was £40. I've music on Friday evenings so will be sure to go then, for some rum punches!

Toby Cottage

Lovelace, Guildford
12/08/2018: Have not been here for years and was keen to pay a long overdue return visit for lunch and am pleased to say the experience was most enjoyable, the food was good and the staff were very friendly providing excellent service.
09/08/2018: Went for lunch on Wednesday with 2 friends, as usual food was wonderful. The service was great accompanied by the banter from Esteban and Tony.

Food for Friends

2 offers
Regency, Brighton and Hove
29/08/2018: Although this restaurant was an excellent choice for my vegan friends, as a self confessed picky eater I found it extremely hard to find anything that really took my fancy and ended up with a sweet potato salad - this did become boring after a few mouthfuls. Not much choice on the menu and not alot of variety. I was disappointed. Only positive about my visit? Cocktails were lovely!
28/08/2018: Lovely meal appreciated by non vegetarians, vegetarian and vegan alike. Tasty and fresh and beautifully presented. Staff friendly and enthusiastic. Highly recommended.

The Red Pig

Marsham, Rother
30/08/2018: Excellent service. The Pett Leveller (8inch sausage in a roll with slaw and home made pickles) was delicious
31/07/2018: A must for anyone visiting Pett Level - the food, drinks and service is brilliant. Well worth the walk along the sea wall to find them - they are always there come rain or shine at weekends!

Grand Cafe

Bargate, Southampton
29/08/2018: My friend took me to the Grand Café for my first ever Traditional afternoon tea and absolutely loved the experience! It was all done in a very nice traditional way with the white cloth on the table. The tea was nice, the food was very good and staff very friendly and helpful. We couldn't eat it all so they wrapped the rest of it up for us to take away. Definitely worth a visit!
27/08/2018: Another tribute to the Grande Cafe tribute evening.

The Dining Club

North Deal, Dover
14/08/2018: Where to begin? We have listened to our relatives rave about this place for years and were so pleased when they said they’d treat us for my husband’s 50th birthday celebrations.
06/08/2018: Having seen The Dining Club featuring as a top destinations in Deal we went last Saturday. Our thanks to those that rated this in the past. It was certainly one of our best meals in this part of Kent, and we have been to quite a few. For the price it was extremely good indeed. We were a little disappointed with desert however overall we give it 4.25 out of 5. Going back for Sunday lunch in a couple of weeks. Definitely looking forward to that.

Breeze Brasserie

St. Peter's and North Laine, Brighton and Hove, 20-30£
28/09/2017: Vine aquí después de haber pedido su famoso asado en Deliveroo muchas veces.
28/09/2017: I went there to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time. Tasty food, friendly staff, delicious banoffee pie. Highly recommended :)

The Plough West Hanney

Hanneys, Vale of White Horse, >100£
01/08/2018: A friendly welcome in this quiet village inn. Apart from the usual drinks the bar offered 4 fine ales of which I enjoyed a pint of the golden Village Idiot at 4.1% abv.
14/07/2018: Wasn’t expecting to find such a perfect example of the quintessential English pub, off the beaten track and tucked away in a lovely corner of the village just by the church (where better than this for a pub!). Turns out it is actually owned by the villagers and run as a cooperative, so that get all their favourite beers! There were several that would get my vote and I couldn’t resist washing down some of the ham egg and chips with a great pale ale!
