Cupcake & Co in Norwich

This place is utterly phenomenal. I took my son to spend a voucher he got for christmas and he really loved the chocolate cupcake he chose. The man that served us was soooo nice and gave some of the best customer service I've ever had. The choice was fab and my son ssid he'd give it 5 stars.

We've ordered from Cupcake & Co for 3 of our daughter's birthdays, each one has been so special, amazing attention to detail, and yummy! We wouldn't hesitate to think of you guys first for our cake needs ❤️

I came here for the first time today and got the peanut butter, marshmallow brownie... It is by far the best cake type thing I've ever tasted (and gluten free)... The guy and his mam (i think) were also so lovely! I can't wait to come back for more, I'm in love with it!

Anne surpassed herself by making the most stunning, delicious cake for my daughter's 21st birthday. The themes were pink,lilac and red along with cherries. Anne's creation was so perfect for the theme and so well suited to my daughter. It was also beautifully made and the taste was spectacular, dare I use the word moist?! 😂 An absolute show stopper! Thank you Anne and Dan! 🙏🏾❤️

My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how our wedding cake and cupcakes turned out! They looked and tasted incredible! We chose all vegan flavours for our all vegan wedding. We had cookies and cream, pumpkin spice, golden syrup and chocolate cupcakes on a tiered cake stand with a semi naked vegan carrot cake on top! I spoke to Anne and explained our autumnal theme but let them use their professional judgment for all the decoration etc. and they absolutely nailed it. We have had such good comments about all the flavours and people can’t believe they are vegan 😁 I will 100% be returning to cupcake & co in future and recommend them to anyone. Amazing and friendly service!

Such lovely staff! The friendliness and genuine enthusiasm for the products made our visit there memorable, and also enhanced the happy time we spent in Norwich. Our cake (almond and orange) was chosen as a birthday cake, and didn't disappoint - it was wonderful. We will definitely be returning there soon to try more of the wonderful offerings. We have trusted Cupcake & Co with several cakes for family occasions and recently ordered one for a christening. It was beautiful and delicious as always and we would not hesitate to go to Cupcake & Co again.

There is always a friendly welcome at this very pretty little shop. Absolutely all of the gluten free cup cakes are truly delicious… I thoroughly recommend this lovely shop as a first port of call if you are looking for a gluten free treat! We cannot recommend Anne at Cupcake & Co enough. Anne designed and made our wedding cake and she had the tricky task of also making it gluten free. It was one of the best gluten free cakes we have ever had and it surpassed our expectations in terms of how it looked. Honestly cannot thank Anne enough.

We received an incredibly warm and friendly welcome at Cupcake & Co and were so excited to find that all their cakes were either vegetarian or vegan (including their marshmallows!). This made the decision making very challenging as everything looked soooo good. We settled on a cookie pie, which was delicious, the perfect ratio of cookie to filling and a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie - which was *absolutely divine*. Would definitely recommend Cupcake & Co :)

I’ve used cupcake and co for many celebration cakes in recent years. Ann pays so much attention to detail to each cake we have ordered, especially our wedding cake and cake pop wedding favours. We had to postpone our wedding through the pandemic and Ann and her team kept in touch to make sure of new dates and to make sure we were happy with designs. We were given lots of ideas and options and Ann took lots of time getting to know us and what we liked and didn’t like to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted and the final result blew us away! The perfect mix of cream and pastel pink butter cream with gold foil detailing and a flurry of fresh flowers, the cake pops matched perfectly with pastel pink coating and gold foil specks, each cake pop packaged separately with personalised sticks which we provided. Cupcake and co always go above and beyond for their customers and make us feel so welcome when we pop in to collect a cake or to grab a coffee and a treat from the amazing display in the shop! We will be back soon for our next cake!!

This wonderful little shop on Upper St Giles ( which I found by accident ) is just the best ! Run by a lovely mother and son ... everything home made and baked on the premises. NOT JUST CUPCAKES ! Mum makes the most wonderful celebration cakes .. along with cupcakes , muffins , and other lovely cakes which are different most days. There are scones, pastries , sausage rolls , filled rolls ... sausage baps on the weekend and take away coffee. Oh and there are lovely fresh flowers 💐 for sale too I'm so glad I've found this shop . Upper St Giles reminds me of Marylebone in LONDON and this lovely shop would fit in perfectly there . 10/10

I ordered a celebration cake from Cupcake and Co online. Upon collection it completely surpassed my expectations. Everyone loved it, commenting that it wasn’t too sweet, just perfect. Overall I was extremely happy with the process from start to finish and Anne and Co couldn’t have been more helpful.

I ordered some cupcakes for my daughters birthday... She likes gothy/Halloweeny colours and i didnt really know what to expect... I was very pleasantly surprised... So pretty and beautiful packed ... They were delicious...!! Staff were lovely and very friendly My only niggle was the website.. i didnt find it particularly straight forward in regards to leaving specific requirements.... I am old school and would much rather just converse with some human Definitely will be back in the future...

Cupcake & Co to be honest are absolutely amazing. At short notice I asked if they could help me with a celebration cake that didn’t contain gluten, soya or nuts. I knew this would possibly be asking too much given the time scale and the special requirements. My sons were blown away with the outcome, they have never eaten a cake like this before😍. We have had the reindeer chocolate cake and the yule log for the last two christmas's. Devoured by all the family and will be ordering next year. The cup cake co is brilliant.... always delicious. If you haven't been before then make it a "must do" for 2023!

I ordered a 'Small and Tall' cake for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. Really pretty decoration complete with fresh white roses. The cake was moist and absolutely delicious. I also purchased some sausage rolls, hot and fresh from the oven. These were wonderful and made even more tasty with a hint of red onion marmalade in the sausage filling. Anne and Dan are both delightful and provide exceptional customer service alongside scrumptious baked goods in their superb shop. A must visit shop in Norwich!

Ordered a naked red velvet cake for my mums 70th birthday. It was absolutely stunning and tasted as wonderful as it looked. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended. Will definitely order again.

I finally got my dream birthday cake which I didn’t manage through another company last year. I ordered it in December and after some discussion about design and taste etc. We collected it from the shop on Saturday and enjoyed it with family yesterday. My mum ordered three cakes for her Pension Party and she was delighted with them. There was a Victoria Sandwich, a Fruit Cake and a Chocolate Cake. They were all delicious!

Cupcake and co provided vegan and meat sausage rolls for our wedding. They were absolutely delicious and our guests loved them. They were so friendly and helpful and flexible when we needed to change our order fairly close to the date. Can't recommend enough.

I loved loved the cake I ordered from CupCake and Co for the 23rd of July. It looked exactly like the picture I showed them. I was just wowed, so was everyone who saw it at the party! It was delicious too! Not too sweet but just right. We took the top tier home and within 2 days, only a few slices were left because we could not stop eating it with a cup of tea 🤭🤭. Fabulous cakes and such friendly service! The cake for my husbands birthday was show stopping; just gorgeous in design, beautifully presented and tasted even better. The Gluten Free cupcakes are also superb, lots of options and you just wouldn't know they were gluten free.

<Edited> I am a huge fan of this little gem and try an squeeze in a visit whenever I am in Norwich! Their sausage roll is tasty, squidgy lemon brownie is drool worthy and a display which will make you add time to your commute as you have to stop and admire the refined sugar delights! The staff are also amazing 😊 Although we were offered a free brownie to re-review, it was not needed as we are massive fans regardless. I recently tried a slice of the chocolate vegan cake and it was, hands down, the best vegan chocolate cake I have ever tasted! The only slightly let down has been the s’mores brownie where the brownie couldn’t keep up and be compatible with the brownie beneath it, but everything else has been great. I look forward to trying a big vegan cake for my sisters or mums birthday soon!

I ordered a Chocolate Overload celebration cake from Cupcake & Co and was so pleased with it! The cake was absolutely delicious and was so beautifully decorated as well - a lot of care had clearly gone into making it and it was exactly what I'd hoped for. The staff were also very friendly when we went to pick it up. I'll definitely order from them again and would recommend them for any cake orders!

The staff are super friendly and helpful. There’s never really been a cue so you don’t have to wait. The coffee is a darker roast if that’s your thing. The baked goods are amazing. Wide selection and all takes amazing.

Superb as always. For Christmas I purchased a Cupcake & Co Christmas Pudding (Stout and brandy-soaked dried fruit, candied peel, ground almonds, sourdough breadcrumbs and aromatic spices) - knowing how good their savoury and sweet offerings always are I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed! On collection the pudding was wrapped in the gorgeous style that is Cupcake & Co and even came in it’s own enamel bowl! Now I am not a Christmas Pudding - always find them too rich / dense and heavy - but hearing the ooos and aahhhs from my guests who all said it’s the best pudding they’ve ever had!; I tried some and I have to say I enjoyed it also! Rich yet light and airy! Cupcake & Co may have just converted this non Christmas Pudding eater!!

Myself and my mum have been buying cakes from Anne for six and a half years now and each time she's made the most impressive beautiful and delicious cakes. She never disappoints and is just the most wonderful of people. We've already booked her in for next year we love her cakes that much.

Cupcake and Co supply the sweet treats for our Community Culture Club at the Museum of Norwich, a group for older adults living with dementia and their carers. Each week they have provided us with beautiful cakes, inclusive for a range of dietary requirements (inc vegan & gluten free). It has made the all important 'tea and cake' section of our sessions very special. THANK YOU!

I have used cupcake and Co for all of My celebrations. As you can see by the pictures that she always goes above and beyond. They look fantastic and they taste even better! Ann herself is so lovely and friendly and their customer service is one of the main reasons I continue to go back.

Such a good selection of cakes, cookies and coffee. We were visiting Norwich and called here twice in two days, it was that good! I can recommend the sausage rolls, the pastry was light and flaky and the filling was very tasty. My husband loved the lemon brownie,my daughter loved the tiffin but my favourite was the peanut butter crunch cupcake - absolutely delicious. The people who served us were very friendly and helpful too.

Trying to celebrate a daughter's birthday when separated by an ocean and the difficulties imposed by covid restrictions was always going to be a challenge. I ordered a cake on-line, which my daughter was delighted with and which brought her great pleasure to share with friends. She also told me that when she picked up the cake the staff were amazing and so kind that she became quite teary eyed. Thank you for providing such great service.

Had a birthday cake made for my wife’s 50th and I’m so happy with the result. Anne was incredibly helpful with flavours and designs as well as catering for a dairy free cake. The result was amazing. A beautifully presented and decorated light Lemon and Coconut sponge. Looked as good as it tasted and it tasted superb. Very much recommended.

What a fantastic place and such lovely, friendly staff. Stunning window display and delicious cakes, including gluten free! Thought I’d died and gone to heaven. Treated my Mum to the Mother’s Day pavlova, which they changed for me to exclude Macarons and add more meringue, which Mum loved. And then just happened to buy a gf creme egg brownie and a cupcake whilst I was picking the pavlova up. Can’t wait to be back in the city and ‘just have’ to walk past again.
