Really friendly service and beautiful cakes.

Cupcake & co have been delightful to deal with in the creation of my wedding cake, I recommend Anne and her services 100%. Not only did the cake look and taste absolutely divine but the process from initial enquiry to the design and then delivery of the cake was incredibly straightforward and she really understood my slightly alternative brief. I have also had the pleasure of sampling a few of the daily cakes available from the shop counter and every single one was delicious.

Absolutely stunning birthday cake from Cupcake & Co for my daughters 16th birthday. Unfortunately time had got away from me and I realised I’d left it too late for a fully bespoke cake however after contacting Cupcake & Co a few weeks beforehand, they truly saved the day when they were able to add a few personal touches to one of their tried and tested favourites. Very quick to respond to any queries and the cake itself not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing too. Always such lovely people when we pop in to the shop too. One happy customer ❤️

Could not recommend this place enough, popped in hoping for some cakes and received excellent service. My girlfriend has celiac disease and they had loads of yummy gluten free options! They explained all the gluten free products are prepared in a separate area, and made sure to use separate tongs when getting the gluten free cakes. We also had a lovely coffee each. Will definitely be coming back :)

Two weeks spent in Norwich, and I went there almost every day! The kindness and goodwill of the mother and her son who run this store shine through in their creations. Absolutely worth discovering!!

In May, we placed an order for a selection of sweet treats for our wedding. We had brownies, blondies, millionaires shortbread and tiffin. All were great and good value for money. But it was the customer service that stood out. They could not have been more excited to help cater for our wedding, and we were always met with smiles and genuine happiness whenever we popped in. Thank you for the beautiful cake you made for my husband’s 70th birthday party. I chose the almond and cherry sponge and it was very delicious. The sponge was just right, you could taste the almonds and cherries and it melted in your mouth. The icing was perfect, just the right amount and not too sweet. UPDATED REVIEW! April '24. I'm still getting my coffee and food here and it's awesome as always! But, I have now ordered a cake from Cupcake. The brief went like this; 'please can you make my Dad a cake for his 80th birthday? Oh, and by the way, he can't taste anything (he was in an accident and lost his sense of smell and taste).' So the team came up with a beautiful looking cake that was full of flavour (for us that can taste) and also texture (which is what helps my Dad enjoy his food). It looked gorgeous and I was amazed at how many people it fed (it fed more people than I thought it would, and we still have some left!) Thanks Cupcake team! It was brilliant, and the feedback from my family (most of them are grumpy and very hard to please) was excellent! Aesthetics. Flavours. Size. Cost. Service. ALL PERFECT! By far, the friendliest and most lovely people you will meet who just happen to have a shop that has incredible food and cakes to eat! Seriously good food, made to perfection with care and attention. I asked Anne and her team to make me a traditional iced fruit wedding cake and to provide a variety of cupcakes. The results were exceptionally good. My wedding guests said it was the best fruit cake that they had ever had, and the cupcakes, especially the chocolate ones, went down an absolute storm. Anne was extremely helpful with advice, lending us a cake stand and throwing in free cake boxes. If you are having a wedding, you cannot do better. Get your wedding cake choice and maker right and you are on your way to a successful and memorable day. Thankyou very much Anne and team. My bride and I will certainly be back for more.

Incredible bakes and wonderful service! I've picked up sweet treats in store to take home and enjoy, and recently placed an order for a cake for my 30th birthday - the order form was clear, and the team made a really beautiful and delicious cake based on just flavours I asked for. It really made the evening and it was all I could have wanted.

This place is utterly phenomenal. I took my son to spend a voucher he got for christmas and he really loved the chocolate cupcake he chose. The man that served us was soooo nice and gave some of the best customer service I've ever had. The choice was fab and my son ssid he'd give it 5 stars.

I have loved Cupcake & Co for years and was thrilled to have a reason to purchase a BIG cake! The communication made it very straight forward to order, and their help with colour choices was invaluable. We needed a gluten-free order and I was so grateful that it was offered with no hassle or extra charge. Needless to say it was delish! Can’t wait for the next big birthday so I can order again.

Bought the most amazing heart-shaped brownie for Mother's Day along with a gorgeous bouquet- I was even stopped on my way walking back by someone asking where I got the flowers from! Cupcake and Co created stunning decorated pink and gold cupcakes for my daughter's naming ceremony. The cakes were delicious and Cupcake and Co were even able to make some of them vegan for us (which were just as delicious as the non- vegan cupcakes). Cupcake and Co are also our go- to place for delicious cakes, bakes etc. when we're in the city- a favourite has to be their black forest cupcake. I highly recommend them whether you're just popping by the shop for an everyday sweet treat or need something special for a occasion.

I came here for the first time today and got the peanut butter, marshmallow brownie... It is by far the best cake type thing I've ever tasted (and gluten free)... The guy and his mam (i think) were also so lovely! I can't wait to come back for more, I'm in love with it!

Anne surpassed herself by making the most stunning, delicious cake for my daughter's 21st birthday. The themes were pink,lilac and red along with cherries. Anne's creation was so perfect for the theme and so well suited to my daughter. It was also beautifully made and the taste was spectacular, dare I use the word moist?! 😂 An absolute show stopper! My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how our wedding cake and cupcakes turned out! They looked and tasted incredible! We chose all vegan flavours for our all vegan wedding. We had cookies and cream, pumpkin spice, golden syrup and chocolate cupcakes on a tiered cake stand with a semi naked vegan carrot cake on top! I spoke to Anne and explained our autumnal theme but let them use their professional judgment for all the decoration etc. and they absolutely nailed it. We have had such good comments about all the flavours and people can’t believe they are vegan 😁 I will 100% be returning to cupcake & co in future and recommend them to anyone. Amazing and friendly service!

We cannot recommend Anne at Cupcake & Co enough. Anne designed and made our wedding cake and she had the tricky task of also making it gluten free. It was one of the best gluten free cakes we have ever had and it surpassed our expectations in terms of how it looked. Honestly cannot thank Anne enough.

We received an incredibly warm and friendly welcome at Cupcake & Co and were so excited to find that all their cakes were either vegetarian or vegan (including their marshmallows!). This made the decision making very challenging as everything looked soooo good. We settled on a cookie pie, which was delicious, the perfect ratio of cookie to filling and a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie - which was *absolutely divine*. Would definitely recommend Cupcake & Co :)

I’ve used cupcake and co for many celebration cakes in recent years. Ann pays so much attention to detail to each cake we have ordered, especially our wedding cake and cake pop wedding favours. We had to postpone our wedding through the pandemic and Ann and her team kept in touch to make sure of new dates and to make sure we were happy with designs. We were given lots of ideas and options and Ann took lots of time getting to know us and what we liked and didn’t like to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted and the final result blew us away! The perfect mix of cream and pastel pink butter cream with gold foil detailing and a flurry of fresh flowers, the cake pops matched perfectly with pastel pink coating and gold foil specks, each cake pop packaged separately with personalised sticks which we provided. Cupcake and co always go above and beyond for their customers and make us feel so welcome when we pop in to collect a cake or to grab a coffee and a treat from the amazing display in the shop! We will be back soon for our next cake!!

This wonderful little shop on Upper St Giles ( which I found by accident ) is just the best ! Run by a lovely mother and son ... everything home made and baked on the premises. NOT JUST CUPCAKES ! Mum makes the most wonderful celebration cakes .. along with cupcakes , muffins , and other lovely cakes which are different most days. There are scones, pastries , sausage rolls , filled rolls ... sausage baps on the weekend and take away coffee. Oh and there are lovely fresh flowers 💐 for sale too I'm so glad I've found this shop . Upper St Giles reminds me of Marylebone in LONDON and this lovely shop would fit in perfectly there . 10/10

I ordered a celebration cake from Cupcake and Co online. Upon collection it completely surpassed my expectations. Everyone loved it, commenting that it wasn’t too sweet, just perfect. Overall I was extremely happy with the process from start to finish and Anne and Co couldn’t have been more helpful.

I ordered some cupcakes for my daughters birthday... She likes gothy/Halloweeny colours and i didnt really know what to expect... I was very pleasantly surprised... So pretty and beautiful packed ... They were delicious...!! Staff were lovely and very friendly My only niggle was the website.. i didnt find it particularly straight forward in regards to leaving specific requirements.... I am old school and would much rather just converse with some human Definitely will be back in the future...

Cupcake & Co to be honest are absolutely amazing. At short notice I asked if they could help me with a celebration cake that didn’t contain gluten, soya or nuts. I knew this would possibly be asking too much given the time scale and the special requirements. My sons were blown away with the outcome, they have never eaten a cake like this before😍. I ordered a 'Small and Tall' cake for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. Really pretty decoration complete with fresh white roses. The cake was moist and absolutely delicious. I also purchased some sausage rolls, hot and fresh from the oven. These were wonderful and made even more tasty with a hint of red onion marmalade in the sausage filling. Anne and Dan are both delightful and provide exceptional customer service alongside scrumptious baked goods in their superb shop. A must visit shop in Norwich!

We have had the reindeer chocolate cake and the yule log for the last two christmas's. Devoured by all the family and will be ordering next year. The cup cake co is brilliant.... always delicious. If you haven't been before then make it a "must do" for 2023!

I finally got my dream birthday cake which I didn’t manage through another company last year. Cupcake and co provided vegan and meat sausage rolls for our wedding. They were absolutely delicious and our guests loved them. They were so friendly and helpful and flexible when we needed to change our order fairly close to the date. Can't recommend enough.

I loved loved the cake I ordered from CupCake and Co for the 23rd of July. It looked exactly like the picture I showed them. I was just wowed, so was everyone who saw it at the party! It was delicious too! Not too sweet but just right. We took the top tier home and within 2 days, only a few slices were left because we could not stop eating it with a cup of tea 🤭🤭. Fabulous cakes and such friendly service! The cake for my husbands birthday was show stopping; just gorgeous in design, beautifully presented and tasted even better. The Gluten Free cupcakes are also superb, lots of options and you just wouldn't know they were gluten free.

<Edited> I am a huge fan of this little gem and try an squeeze in a visit whenever I am in Norwich! Their sausage roll is tasty, squidgy lemon brownie is drool worthy and a display which will make you add time to your commute as you have to stop and admire the refined sugar delights! The staff are also amazing 😊 Although we were offered a free brownie to re-review, it was not needed as we are massive fans regardless. I recently tried a slice of the chocolate vegan cake and it was, hands down, the best vegan chocolate cake I have ever tasted! The only slightly let down has been the s’mores brownie where the brownie couldn’t keep up and be compatible with the brownie beneath it, but everything else has been great. I look forward to trying a big vegan cake for my sisters or mums birthday soon!

I ordered a Chocolate Overload celebration cake from Cupcake & Co and was so pleased with it! The cake was absolutely delicious and was so beautifully decorated as well - a lot of care had clearly gone into making it and it was exactly what I'd hoped for. The staff were also very friendly when we went to pick it up. I'll definitely order from them again and would recommend them for any cake orders!
