Amazing food! Really yummy with healthy options too. The Sunday lunch in a box was fab - I've never eaten such nice brussel sprouts. I had the fried tofu with mine and it was brilliant. Make sure you get their horseradish and watercress sauce too. Lovely people who obviously enjoy what they do and work really hard. We visited years ago and it's now even better. We'll so be back.

Great food I had the Sunday roast, the veg taste sooo good as well as the meat large portion. Seating area is very small but well worth the waiting. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Amazing food !!! Love it so much it’s brilliant comfort food but my only issue is they sometimes run out of a lot of food and opening times can be somewhat unpredictable but defo give this place a visit it’s brilliant

My partner and I popped over to Newquay today for a spot of lunch and we happened to stumble upon Gusto; what an amazing find! The place was reassuringly busy, but the staff were so welcoming, friendly and heIpful when we placed our order. I had the loaded fries with pulled pork and picante sauce. The fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection, the pulled pork was melt in the mouth and beautifully tender. The portion size was fantastic and represented amazing value for money at just under £9. My partner had the Buddha box with chicken and beef and her reaction was just as positive as mine. Her meal was also cooked to perfection and the avocado mayo was delightful. Again, the portion size was more than generous for the money (same price as mine) and we both left with full contented bellies. Honestly, if you're in area and fancy trying some delicious, freshly cooked food that doesn't disappoint, you must give this place a go. We will definitely be back to try the roast in a box which just looked lush. Top stuff guys, thanks!

My partner wasn’t feeling very well so I headed down to Gusto on Sunday afternoon to pick up two of their roast boxes. The food quality is always excellent at Gusto and you can see that from their reviews. Unfortunately, the lady taking the orders today was focusing predominately on the Uber Eats or Just Eat internet orders that kept flying in. This resulted in myself and others having to wait 20+ minutes just to place an order. Once my order was taken the food was quick to arrive and as always, it tasted fantastic (especially the pork and chicken). Hopefully the Gusto management will try and find a way where they manage the internet orders more efficiently and not to the detriment to actual face to face customers.

Amazing alternative to the traditional Sunday lunch. Three different meats with plenty of vegetables in a large Yorkshire pudding. Presentation, flavours and service was brilliant.

Oh my gosh I can’t explain how good the food was. Me and my husband have been holidaying in Newquay for years and can’t believe we have never found this place. I must admit their social media drew us in, the guys do fab videos!! We ordered the Gusto Box, one vegan and one meat, the chicken I had was so tasty and well seasoned and the coconut rice was out of this world. My husband had the vegan option and it was outstanding. We can’t wait to go back in a few months!!

Absolutely beautiful food! Very knowledgeable about coeliac and what I could and couldn't have! In fact, everything was gluten free apart the bread and even then they had gluten free alternative. Very happy coeliac 😀

Credit where credit is due, this place really lives up to the 5* reviews. We had 2 Sunday lunches, one veggie, one vegan. Everything was fantastic, fitters were a delight, veg was super tasty, was so full but couldn't finish it all. Always a challenge eating a Sunday lunch out of a box with plastic cutlery but was well worth the effort. Hands down the best veggie roast I've ever had, don't miss this gem of a place!

Price point is great, customer service wonderful, the roast was amazing! My friend and I had a walk along the beach grabbed a roast and sat on a bench and watched the sea was what a sunday should be.

My partner loves this place, she is a meat eater and would have no hesitation in giving this place 5 stars, myself being vegetarian the only real let down for me is that the fritters are normally raw in the middle, I've eaten here a few times and usually I try to pass it off but truth be told it's put me off a little, I know from personal experience it is very hard to cook onion bhajis/fritters of this size and cook them through properly, they have to be smaller, and/or slightly looser, we eventually solved the problem by shaping them flatter and less water in the mixture.

It's like home comforts, if you're a good cook. Great value for money, so tasty. Can enjoy outside regardless of the season. Love returning for heartwarming food.

The food was amazing with great vegan options. Everything was cooked to perfection and would 100% go back. I'd reccomend the roast on a Sunday and calling up 11am to avoid the likely queues.

Amazing home cooked food here and enough to feed an army. Book your takeaway early and in advance as it’s very busy. Not your average takeaway and excellent for veggies and vegans as well as meat lovers. We had the deal for 4 for us and the teenagers and there was enough for the next day’s lunch as well. Incredible value.

Without doubt our number one place in Newquay for a takeway, I had the chicken and pulled pork hot box, my partner had the vegan fritters.. so tasty,full of flavor and fresh, I didn’t want it to end!

I came to gusto a few days ago as I’d heard so many good things and since moving here a year ago I still hadn’t tried it out! I was about ten mins away when my friend text me saying can you call ahead and ask if they’re still taking phone orders as they shut in half an hour and her signal wasn’t good as she was en route back from Truro. So I did just that and was told yes that was fine. So then I get there and make my order, whilst waiting, one of the colleagues made a rather loud comment to the other colleagues-something along the lines of- “this stupid woman rang up and asked if we were still taking orders over the phone...” or something like that. So I spoke up and said, “ah yes that was actually me on the phone”. I didn’t even get an apology and as you can imagine he was a bit speechless but I was quite embarrassed myself as I thought my question was valid. It’s fine to have a little bit of a moan about customers but in front of other customers? Not very professional. However the food was absolutely exquisite and made up for what had just happened prior to that. I will be returning as it was very reasonably priced and a decent portion! I don’t want to seem like I’m whinging about my experience but I’m just hoping this guy learnt his lesson.

We popped into gusto today with 3 kids so glad we did!, came up on trip advisor thought we would give it a go. Staff were really helpful we navigated through the menu process and eventually decided on hot boxes all round, they did a childs versions when asked honestly the best lunch I have had in ages all the kids loved it!. Next time we are in Newquay I know exactly where to go for lunch!!

We were recommended by a friend to try a Gusto Sunday roast, that was a couple of years ago and we’ve never looked back! So much meat and veg tons of gravy and a Yorkshire pud- just a box of deliciousness! We trek over to Newquay at least twice a month just for the roast! Great food, great staff in a great location. What more can you ask for?

I live in St Ives and absolutely love a trip over to Newquay just to eat at Gusto’s. I’ve visited with my partner and family a few times and every single time it’s 5 star food and service. The roast boxes on a Sunday are by far the best roast I’ve ever eaten!!

My wife and I were looking for a quick takeaway baguette or similar on our way to the beach and thought we’d missed out until we spotted this place. We shared a pulled pork and a chicken wrap, both were full to bursting and very tasty.

Visited for lunch had steak fritte and it was delicious. Worth a visit without a doubt. Food is prepared fresh every day. Sunday roast us also amazing.

Visited Gusto when it first opened and i always knew this place would be a success. The quality is good and the portions of a decent size. This is one place where I would always recommend to friends because I know this place is consistent in what it serves & when visiting newquay I always make at least one trip here.

Really fresh tasty food and good customer service. We visited here whilst spending the day on the beach nearby. The staff explained possible food options and the salads are varied and well flavoured. The takeaway roast meals also looked tasty and good value.

This place is simply amazing! Have just returned from a 5 day trip and of which we visited Gusto’s 3 times! Says it all tbh...All the food is great, but the roast box is something else!!! The only downside is they’re not open longer and there isn’t more of them, preferably one in London near me :)

The best meal we had in Newquay. Such a simple concept, but the food is amazing. It is so clear this place is run on passion and a love for good food. We just wished we didn't live 400 miles away or we would be there all the time!

Menu choice was great, all the food looked amazing, freshly cooked and delicious. The pulled pork was really nice and juicy and OMG the roasted sweet potatoes were truly tasty, need that recipe! Good honest food, cooked well, at a reasonable price too. Didn't have space for the fritters but if we'd have been in town longer we would have gone back again for sure. Definitely one to stick on the list.

I wish there was a Gusto near me.

We set out to have Sunday lunch but our usual pub was stacked out with tourists and no available tables. We headed back into town for fish & chips but they weren't opening until 4pm. I then remembered a friend recommending Gusto's Sunday lunch in a box.

I am re writing this review as I made the mistake of not ticking 5 stars as this little place so deserves...we have eaten here many times and it never changes..always perfect delicious food great price great portions..love it the only downside is we live 6 hours away..although my wife does think there box justifies that trip alone..but when you try there box youl see why..if you go to newquay you must must go to gustos..thanks again guys wel be back soon ..Steve and Emma.brighton

Feeling a little unispired by beach side lunch offerings I had a little walk up the slope and stumbled upon this gem of a place.

Been here a few times to say the least and it never changes always fantastic great food great value for money..my wife would literally drive 6 hours for there box..when you have it youl see why..thanks again guys

Really enjoyed it, you can tell it’s freshly cooked and very nice meat. Yorkshire wasn’t that good, lacked in crisp and taste but apart from that really enjoyed it. Would go back.

Often come here for my lunch at work, always delicious fresh food. For the money you pay you get so much amazing quality food and it always fills you up. So nice to have great vegetarian options too. Since my co workers have been seeing my lunches they've started going too! Always recommend to everyone. Cheers :)

These guys are outstanding! The roast dinners are, by far, the best in Newquay! We come every week and don’t see that ever changing.

Moody chap just made it very difficult to sort things out. Apparently there's been a change of staff.

All the staff are legends. Their food is made with love and full of flavour. U wont leave hungry and if there is a queue wait,, because its well worth it. Respect fellas, The Sunday roast in a box in something else as well! Pure yagga

We had read about this beforehand and thought we'd give it a go. Sunday lunches are a big deal with us so we approached with caution but we loved it! Lovely meat, imaginative veg and dressings and all great value and yummy!

Love taking the family here. Delicious healthy food every time. The kids adore the food as much as we do.

Stopped here today before hitting the road back to London and so very glad we did. Hands down the best roast dinner I've had out and the price is unbelievable. Some of the crappy so called 5* restaurants in London could learn a lot from this place. Amazing fresh tasty food and lovely friendly staff, where even told we could pick two types of meat for our roast, which was really nice! Will definitely be returning here and advise any one coming to Newquay to eat here, you won't be disappointed! Thanks for the great meal :)

Really good homemade food. The beef brisket and pulled pork were absolutely delicious. Rotisserie chicken and the vegan box were also a hit with the family.

You have got to go here to try one of these. We chose the special of the day, with Chicken. Certainly gets the tastebuds going. Mmmmm.

The yummiest (veggie) roast, the fritters were AMAZEBALLS . I was going to have the beef because it looked so perfectly cooked, but really wanted to try the fritters, and was not disappointed. Wonderful variety of veg, fab yorkshire pudding, gorgeous gravy and sauces. Highly recommended, incredible value for money (2 roasts and 2 bottles of water for £14.50)

Great lunchtime street food, reasonable price. Got recommended by the guys from Newquay Activity Centre and would also recommend to anyone. We had the Reggae special with jerk chicken and fish fritter plus the street pork wraps. Great food, lovely staff.

I often visit Gusto's on my lunch hour at work as it's close by, well priced and amazing food every time, cannot fault it at all! The staff are so lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I usually have the 'hot box' which comes with two choices of salad, potatoes/fries and one of the meats/fritters etc. Today I opted for the 'mash box' which even comes with a Yorkshire pud! Couldn't eat the whole thing as the portion sizes are huge but it was absolutely delicious. Great value for money. Would highly recommend.

Probably the best food we ate during our weekend stay in Newquay! It was quick, tasty, a good portion size and full of variety. The staff were very friendly too. Excellent choice if you want to have a quick bite sat outside in the sun or while wandering down to the beach.

We were a group of 7, including 3 kids. We all went for “hot boxes” and they totally exceeded our expectations. We had some fritters too (amazing) and they also make fabulous cookies. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and I’m so glad...

Heard so many good reviews of Gusto's we had to visit. Pleased to report it didn't disappoint. Great food and terrific value.
