No. 46 Coffee Shop

Criccieth, Gwynedd
08/03/2020: Such a gem of a cafe. Plenty of space, comfy seating, delicious coffee. Beautifully, genuinely friendly, respectful staff. This was a highlight of our stay in Criccieth. I wonder if they would consider opening for wine and tapas a few evenings a week or BYO tapas offer. Criccieth needs a groovy alternative to the current dining/pub offer.
05/03/2020: We visited No.46 on a very windy Saturday afternoon. There were 11 of us and so no mean feat to find a lunch to suit us all. A couple were occupying the large table at the back so they offered to take our number but luckily the couple were then ready to leave. The food was delicious and we tried the full range of soup (with cheese scone), BLT sandwiches, quiche, jacket potatoes and panini pizzas. The guys were so friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a game of cards whilst waiting. Lovely atmosphere

Beachcomber Bar and Grill

Llanbedrgoch, Isle of Anglesey
15/03/2020: The food was really good, best garlic bread ever but the choice on the menu was a bit limited, I was disappointed that there were no fish dishes. Also the decor was a bit tired, could do with an update.
15/03/2020: Me and my partner have been to the Beachcomber numerous occasions and every time we go the food is out of this world and the service is always 10/10 well done Baz and Steph keep it up :)

Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
21/03/2020: The day after cafes, bars and restaurants are told to close, this place had it's tables outside, less than two metres apart. And of course people were sitting there. Disgraceful, profiteering at it's best! We won't ever use this establishment
04/03/2020: Fantastic ice cream Thought it would be nice to take some away Be warned it’s £18 a litre which must make it the most expensive ice cream in the country

Oystermouth, Swansea
14/07/2020: Really lovely atmosphere in this place. I've been coming to Joe's in Mumbles for all my life and it never disappoints! The ice cream is absolutely top notch, and the staff are always pleasant. Always clean in this Joe's and is situated beautifully in the heart of The Mumbles.
19/04/2020: Best ice cream in the world Num Num Num Been eating for 30+ years and hope I can get it for the rest of my life 👍

Fforest Pizza Tipi

Aberteifi/Cardigan-Teifi, Ceredigion, <20£
14/03/2020: Staff quite rude, custom not appreciated on both occasions! Had to wait ages for food! Expensive for what it is! Difficulty parking. A bit of a walk from main car park to restaurant. Drinks very expensive!

Tremfan Hall

Llanbedrog, Gwynedd
10/05/2020: Visited here for valentines night with my partner. This place is faultless. Very cosy , warm atmosphere. All food spot on, so tasty. Staff were so friendly and professional from start to finish. Perfect date night for us we will definitely be coming back very soon would highly recommend
22/03/2020: YES we saw the sign saying they were doing takeaway.. yaaay , ace idea as this virus is affecting everyone. Our take out on on Mothering Sunday was fabulous . Old smokey , salad Veronique, Roast dinner and lamb tagine . You could not fault it . Quality and taste all there. Really appreciated chef’s hardwork. Thanks everyone LOVED IT

Dolgellau North, Gwynedd
07/03/2020: Lovely café. Good food and lovely coffee. Bilingual dog friendly staff very helpful. Ambience of a 1950’s general store, reminds of ‘4 candles’ sketch!
19/02/2020: Firstly we ended up here after the number one place on trip advisor was not able to accommodate our needs. We were blown away by the variety of cakes and the building is lovely so we decided this looked like a good second.I was told what all cakes were but as there were about 20.. I'm not joking! ... I did say 'gosh, I can't remember all that !' but wasn't told again and no signs on the cakes so you can remember! I chose some peanut cheesecake which was tasteless and really not very nice at all. Husband had banoffe cheesecake which he said was lovely and son had some chocolate brownie that was too dry. The coffees were cold and the hot chocolate was far too sweet. Wouldn't recommend. Plenty of other places in a tiny Welsh pretty village.

Owls Nest Tea Room Diner

Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, <20£
08/03/2020: Not to bad, the owner seems a great bloke friendly and chatty. The food is not bad I cannot say it's the best I've had. Lots of bikers use the cafe as it's close by the favoured brecon beacons roads. If I'm in the area I'd stop for a brew.
20/02/2020: (Traducido por Google) Horrible (Original) Horrid

Watsons Bistro

Conwy, Conwy, 30-45£
14/03/2020: Service is great and, as my wife and I are light eaters at suppertime, we shared several starters and one entree: perfect!
09/03/2020: Hidden away in Conwy this restaurant was a great find thanks to Trip Advisor. Relaxed atmosphere, fabulous food and great service. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. Wine not too expensive either. Don’t be put off by exterior as you would hardly know it’s a restaurant. Once in it’s cosy and atmospheric. If you’re in Conwy definitely worth a visit

W. T. Roberts Bakery

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
30/07/2020: Lovely food, staff very helpful and they have made it as easy as it can be in the current situation to shop with them
25/07/2020: We bought the wholemeal and white loaves, tasted lovely. Stayed fresh for ages, and the pastries are simply divine. Each one a meal in itself. Very good value and kind staff.

Bistro Restaurant

Rhyl West, Denbighshire, 30-45£
08/03/2020: Lovely meal recently here. Starters gorgeous. Steaks fantastic. Dauphinois potatoes omg !! Fab evening. Staff lovely and efficient. Hadn’t been for a while but will be back soon. Highly recommended 😍
05/03/2020: Top notch food. We go here occasionally for special occasions and it is always worth the visit as we always enjoy the food

Brecon Tap

St. Mary, Powys
27/06/2020: Had a takeaway from here yesterday evening. It was delicious. The owner has done the layout very well to accommodate social distancing. He is really friendly and chatty. There was a bit of a queue as people were buying takeaway pints but these days we know we have to queue wherever we go. My daughter had the vegetarian pie option and the rest of us had beef and mushroom pie. The beef was really tender and plenty of it. The pastry was cooked to perfection. Some of us had mash and some had the parmentier potato’s and we all had the roasted veg all very tasty. This was the best takeaway I’ve had through lockdown it really was lovely and a very reasonable price. The staff are so friendly and even helped me carry the pies to the car! Can’t wait for another meal from there. Thank you
18/03/2020: Saw the reveiws so when we visited Brecon decided to give it a try and was not disappointed, the pies were superb and went really well with the mustard mash. Thankyou for an enjoyable visit.

Popty Conwy Bakery

Conwy, Conwy
22/07/2020: We had two sandwiches, a pasty, a strawberry tart and a flake cake - all for under a tenner! Each was baked to perfection and delicious! Highly recommend
02/03/2020: Wide range of cakes - all very tasty. They also sell FANTASTIC pork pies along with a selection of pies and pasties. They also sell filled rolls. Breakfast baps served - bacon, sausage or both.
