19/10/2018: Wonderful.variety of excellent ice cream - try the Celtic crunch and double fudge. Do not miss this opportunity if in St David's.

Our dogs also loved the doggy ice creams too and would make sure we stopped there for a pit stop. Well done it was lovely to see warm friendly staff.

The Stackpole Inn Restaurant

13/03/2019: This is such a beautiful spot, lovely food all home cooked, tasty and fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful.
06/03/2019: Had lunch at the Inn today. As always excellent unobtrusive service and impeccable food. I had the Cawl and my guest enjoyed the Rump of Lamb followed by the Sticky Toffee Pudding. A real hidden gem.

Owls Nest Tea Room Diner

Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, <20£
08/03/2019: With the current plethora of twee tea rooms and coffee shops in most towns, it was a pleasant change to visit the Owl’s Nest, which is a nice, ordinary cafe - and I mean that as a compliment.
14/02/2019: Great place and very friendly, reasonable on price as well 😊

Sue's pantry saundersfoot

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire
10/03/2019: Situated in a delightful little street, Sue’s pantry is a delight, and I defy anyone to look at the stunning cakes and cupcakes on display and not go in. Absolutely fabulous stuff!
09/03/2019: When we’re in saundersfoot which is often you can’t go without getting some scrumptious cakes and very reasonably priced, just going to ring and order a Victoria sandwich to take home . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for that something extra

Saint Brides Inn

The Havens, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
14/03/2019: The sign outside the pub says lunches served until 2pm. We arrived just before 2pm, so we were prepared for them to have stopped serving. However, they were very happy for us to come in for food. We were made to feel very welcome and the menu choice was excellent - tasty vegetarian options too. The restaurant is lovely and bright and had a friendly atmosphere. The food is home cooked and exceedingly good (generous portions too!).
13/03/2019: We ate here on the first night of our break after a long drive. Did book before we travelled which was good because it was busy. Lovely warm welcome, attentive service and excellent meal. Calamari starters and three fish roast and sea bass for mains. All served promptly which suited tired travellers. All you could wish for.

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
12/02/2019: Fab place hidden away Really great panini just visit to discover this gem Not sure opening hours very limited space we just took away
07/01/2019: The little cafe is set into the hillside overlooking the harbour. Not a lot of seating but many people were buying take-aways. We wanted crab sandwiches which we had but they were a bit lacking in crab and had little flavour. The coffee was OK.

Watkins Bakery

11/12/2018: Hidden gem, just off the roundabout at Kilgetty, next to the petrol station. Bread tastes like it did years ago. Filled rolls pasties cakes and lots of delicious things to tempt. For a small bakery it is very busy. Once you find it ,its a must.
03/11/2018: Great bread and traditional cakes. Filled rolls and other delicious snacks available. Just off main kilgetty roundabout adjacent to the garage towards Begelly.

Riverside Cafe and Tea Garden

Hundleton, Pembrokeshire
03/02/2019: Stopped off for a cuppa after a Sunday afternoon walk. Friendly welcome, nice array of cakes and good value.
06/11/2018: What a gem! We stopped here for lunch while walking the coastal path. We had a very warm welcome from the chatty owners. Fantastic selection of food. Great range of gluten free savoury tarts. We loved this place - good value, tasty food and very friendly. Simple, unpretentious surroundings, which we liked. Like going to your mum's for lunch! Highly recommended.

26/08/2018: We visit Tenby 3 times a year and always call into the harbour cafe as it has Fantastic staff, brilliant home made cakes and a fantastic milky coffee 👍.
16/08/2018: Just sitting on a bench feeling patched and just by chance looked over my shoulder and glanced upon this little shop. Great coffee and friendly staff..

The Old Chemist Inn

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, <20£
14/03/2019: Stopped here for pre-dinner drinks with friends. The pub was pretty busy when we arrived, but really good atmosphere and friendly locals. Reasonable selection of beers on tap. We didn't eat here so cant comment on the food. We enjoyed our short visit and hope to return again one day.
14/03/2019: A restaurant / Pub that's open 7 days a week till late. That was good news for us as it was late Sunday tea time (about 5 ish)and we had just returned from a cold & wet day out sightseeing. Knowing it would be open on Sundays we called in to see what time they were serving Evening meals and if a table was available. The lady that greeted us said The Sunday Lunches had stopped at 4 but could fit us in now but only on the Evening menus. A few tables were already taken but given a nice choice of some other tables. Our drinks order was delivered quickly. Good menu variety(No specials board being Sunday) but lots to pick from anyway. Steaks, chicken, fish, pastas etc; Not being vegetarians we're unable to comment on the variety available. We had Fish au Gratin which contained smoked haddock, cod, prawns all in a dill sauce with a crispy cheesy topping served with a choice of potatoes and peas DELICIOUS!! The other meal was a huge Lasagne with garlic bread and salad. Not knowing how big or small that meal would be when ordered, a portion of chips was ordered too which turned out to be a very generous portion and real chips. Both meals were well prepared, piping hot and very tasty. Unfortunately we didn't have room for "Afters" due to the size of our mains, however there was a nice choice to pick from. The service and staff was excellent and a chocolate sweet each, left with the bill.

The Bishops

St. David's, Pembrokeshire
13/03/2019: Had the specials and prawns on a salad were poor, while the pie did not cut it, chips not that chunky. Staff were fine location was easy for me, but have preferred a little more quality.
06/03/2019: When we visited here three years ago I commented that this is more of a restaurant than a pub, and our recent visit confirms this. Due to building work, they are currently not doing meals, so the place is operating solely as a pub. And it is pretty dead - on both occasions we went in we were the only customers there.

The Royal George Hotel

Pembroke: St. Mary North, Pembrokeshire
14/03/2019: We only wanted a light bite on this occasion and, at around 3 pm, mid week, this was no problem at all. We ordered just a cheese roll, a ham roll, and chips to share. The rolls are freshly baked on the premises, served warm with beautiful simple fillings and a small side salad. The chips are real potatoes, never seen a freezer. Eating well doesn’t need to involve fine and fancy food - when something is as well done as it was here, it is equal to a feast.
02/03/2019: We were recommended to go to this pub as it was seemingly the only pub in Pembroke that served food on a Saturday afternoon (after four attempts of finding somewhere). We would’ve taken anything.
