08/11/2018: We visited Saundersfoot on a rainy day in early November just after the half term holidays and I have to say many of the cafe's were closed so we decided to grab some fresh scones from Sue's and take them back to our caravan for afternoon tea.

Cafe at No 4

Carmarthen Town South, Carmarthenshire
17/12/2018: This was my first visit but I’ve heard great things from friends who have been here in the past and I wasn’t disappointed. Great service and the food was amazing. I had salmon to start followed by mushroom ravioli, both of which were delicious and I was so full I couldn’t manage a full dessert so I went for the coffee and light bite option which was a great idea. My coffee came with a mini mince pie and chocolate truffle. I would definitely go here again, no wonder you need to book in advance
06/12/2018: If you’re looking for somewhere a bit different then this restaurant is a jewel in Carmarthen. Fine dining without all the poshness associated. Excellent menu and superbly cooked food. One of the few restaurants that you can BYOB no corkage and keeps the price realistic. Bills are paid in cash to keep the the price very reasonable. My only regret is I forgot to take my phone to take photos of the food but believe me you don’t need the photos. Excellent presentation, excellent service, excellent ambiance, well just excellent! Just go!

The Cawdor Restaurant

Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire
16/12/2018: We stayed here last night for my partners birthday night away, and what a lovely night it was. The hotel is spotlessly clean with fantastic staff, our room was beautiful, we could not have asked for anything else.

Saint Brides Inn

The Havens, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
09/12/2018: Enjoyed several meals and real welsh ale while visiting the Pembrokeshire coast. The pub also has an attached dining room. The food was made with fresh local ingredients. The highlight was having the pub manager show us the spring fed well hidden behind a door at the back of the pub which used to service the village in years past!

Ship Aground

Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire
29/11/2018: This is probable the best pub in the area.
04/11/2018: Julian and Alison are the new hosts of a famous old pub, which used to run by a miserable old landlord who thought , atmosphere similar to the atmosphere found inside a box of Bryant and May matches was good enough for The Ship Aground ...the new owners are warm friendly folk who provide everything a good old fashioned pub should be, .log fire, home cooked pub food, great beer and wine and a relaxing atmosphere that oozes old fashioned charm, rarely found in pubs nowadays.

The Ship Inn Lower Fishguard

Fishguard North East, Pembrokeshire
25/09/2018: The only pub in lower fish guard small welcoming does not do food which is a miss good range of beers

Hope & Anchor

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
16/12/2018: Ate here on a miserable evening, but the atmosphere in the place was buzzing, with locals and visitors alike. Bar is well run, and there isn't a long wait to get served. Food good and hot, and you can't complain about portions - more than we could manage.
11/12/2018: This has to be the most miserable pub in tenby.. female bar tender on 11 th December lunch time was what I could only call a mood Hoover...we were going to order food but drank our drinks and left....
