18/03/2020: We tend to visit every few weeks when we get the chance. Our regular dishes are halloumi and sucuk to start, followed by mixed grills for mains. Every visit is enjoyable, every meal is exactly how it should be. Firat, the face of the place, is a true traditional gentleman and is both a knowledgeable businessman and a talented front of house. His restaurant is professional and classy, supported by a head chef who is simply great at what he does. Today Firat advised us to keep an eye on the Facebook page for up-to-date opening information and advised us that we could arrange for meals to takeaway.A restaurant we will return to repeatedly with great pleasure.

14/03/2020: Came here with a friend on a Friday night. I had lamb skewers and my friend had the lamb special. Both were absolutely delicious! The service was great and the staff were very polite. The restaurant had a nice cosy feel. We didn't book but I'd advise doing so because it's quite small and appeared to be very popular.

24/04/2020: Having always offered take away food, our favourite restaurant has adapted to the present situation and is now delivering to Hockley and Hawkwell. We decided to cheer ourselves up with some delicious Turkish food. We are unable to go out to get cash, but no need, we paid the restaurant by bank transfer. My partner pronounced his starter as the best octopus he had tasted and my large juicy prawns were fabulous. He had lamb chops , I tried the Adana Kebap, minced lamb cooked on the grill. This chef knows how to make lamb moist and tasty! Served with rice, bulgar wheat and a generous portion of salad each. Yoghurt dip and chilli sauce ( more like a salsa, delicious!), came with olives and seasoned Turkish bread. I also ordered a Peyniri Cevizli Salata, as I can't resist any dish that contains pomegranate seeds and rocket. It was so refreshing! Along with 2 bottles of Efes beer and free delivery at a safe distance, we spent £59.30. We were delighted with our meal and had enough left from the generous portions to make a lovely lunch the following day. An excellent take away!! Thank you Turkish Kitchinn!

29/06/2020: Desperate for a Turkish Meal fix we booked a Mixed Grill/Mezi for late lunch. I promise it was amazing and totally hit the spot.

19/03/2020: The food here is still nice, but maybe is not as good as previous visits. However the service was not good at all. Initially we were served five of the six meals and had to wait 5 minutes for the last dish to arrive. Then the chilli side dish had to be ordered twice and eventually arrived as we finished eating and finally plates were cleared while some were still eating, including one meal that was still being eaten having been taken.

06/02/2020: We were looking for a restaurant that did Greek cuisine, instead we opted for Turkish cuisine due to the time, all really excellent, appetizer full of sauces, olives and Turkish bread, the waitresses were very courteous and helpful, they also offered us black tea and a mini tasting of candied fruit with icing sugar at the end of the meal, to thank them we could not leave him a tip, I absolutely recommend it!!

14/03/2020: We visited here on a wet Saturday. We had the mese plate. What came out(see photo) was really very tasty. The flavours were amazing and the hospitality was really very good and the atmosphere was great. Really good place to find.

13/03/2020: Prior to my recent visit here, I was always under the opinion that Zada was the best Turkish restaurant in Stamford. But not anymore. These guys are the real deal ! If you want genuinely good Turkish food with good portions, these are your guys. You won't feel ashamed of recommending them to your colleagues

18/06/2020: Let's just start off with Mcturks is a local legend! It sometimes gets thought of as an end of the night place as it's open so late however it's totally the opposite. The naans are beautiful and fresh and there own recipe doner is probably the best within the city. They always serve with a smile on there face and are patient with customers even at 2am when they're drunk. They are a classic kebab house that does all the basics spot on. I think a large doner is around £5.50 so it's certainly value for money.

08/01/2020: Been going there for 30 years. Epic naan bread, freshly made. Hot sauce is brilliant. Shish lamb is the best. Takeaway only but benches opposite and a little garden 2 minutes away.

22/05/2020: Amazing quality of food. I have been to the restaurant a few times now but this was my first take away. Yes it clearly missed the atmosphere but did not fail on the quality of the food and presentation. I was pleasantly surprised. I for one cannot wait till this is all over and I can go back into the restaurant

30/05/2020: We already had a good and tasty dinner months ago and then we decided to re-have the same experience during the lockdown choosing the free-delivery option. We enjoyd the food a lot and we are sure we will have the Turkish dinner again soon. Staff is kind and nice as always. Price worth.

07/05/2020: Have visited the restaurant on a few occasions with friends and family. Have always had excellent service and flavoursome good food. Was passing through salisbury so rang a head to see if I could get a takeaway This was no trouble at all. Order was taken and when I arrived it was waiting for me. I had another twelve miles to travel before me and the family could get to eat it but the food was hot plentiful and so much better than fish and chips my other option.Unfortunately i am two far away for delivery or collection during lock down otherwise I would defiantly be sat here enjoying a hearty meal. I see it is open for takeaway but i am just to far away. As soon as I am able I will be treating myself.

11/03/2020: Homemade kebab meat served with the classic, freshly sliced cabbage, onion and homemade chilli sauce.Brilliant.They don't do delivery's. They don't do telephone orders. There's no queue jumping, the staff know whoes next.. You queue. Local people queue outside, in the rain.All these facts speak for themselves.

08/03/2020: Queuing out of the door with over a half hour wait, and no surprise. The Kebabs are awesome. Great quality meat and the Kebabs are just a class above the competition.

20/11/2019: Came to this restraunt with my partner and daughter on Saturday food was amazing staff are absolutely amazing and couldn’t make you feel more comfortable if they tried they also couldn’t do enough for you ! We loved it that much we have been back again tonight and will certainly be back again !

31/07/2019: Stopped here for a quarter pounder burger for my wife and this was cooked fresh and was cooked to perfection - so she told me!! Staff are so friendly here and would recommend it. Enjoy.

06/07/2019: Our post midnight snack from here really filled a gap. Staff were friendly enough. Kebab meat a little on the fatty side for us and the salad was purely shredded iceberg lettuce.
