Great food and customer service at this restaurant. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. As soon as you enter, you feel the warmth from the staff. The food portion was good and tasted even better.

Hello to anyone reading this, me and my family recently decided to dine-in at Cappadocia, a Turkish Restaurant in Diss, Norfolk and upon arriving; we were instantly greeted by a approachable and friendly host. We were then allowed to choose the table that we most preferred and this was despite not booking - bear in mind that this was on a busy Friday afternoon at around quarter to One, which was most likely the busiest time of the day; on quite possibly the busiest day of the week. Right away, it was clear to me that there was an adequate level of hospitality in this restaurant. After we sat down and had been there for a short while, I made some observations about my surroundings and the ambience of the place, which were, that... From a visual standpoint, several aspects were on point, such as the choice of colour, the decor and also the general theme - which depicted Turkish culture correctly - the Cappadocia region in particular; which (I felt) was accurately portrayed. It was definitely fitting, to have famous landmarks and other tributes to Cappadocia in frame, which set a certain tone; providing customers with a sort of 'escapism' feel as they dined. The spacing in the restaurant felt appropriate, allowing customers that choose to dine-in, the chance to have their own privacy, at a comfortable (in my opinion) distance away from the other tables. It also gives them a choice of whether they want to watch other customers that are present, enjoying their meals from where they are sitting, or not. The last observation I made, was that the restaurant had a chilled, laid back feel (the ambience) which was evident, the behaviour of the other customers reflected this; as several of them engaged in conversations at their tables. This highlighted the fact that they felt relaxed enough to do so. After I had become familiar with my surroundings, the waitress came over to our table and all of us agreed to have the lunch deal, which consists of a three-course meal; for only £18.95 (each.) An astonishing price! The service was exceptional, the entrées came out shortly after placing our orders. When we was finished with the starter, it was then subsequently followed by the main course and afterwards, the dessert (both the main course, as well as the dessert, came out in the same timely fashion as the starter.) The food was completely delicious, the kofta was perfectly seasoned, it was melt in the mouth - mouth watering stuff, very good, above standard. Exceptional quality for the price we paid! Not to mention, it was grilled in view and all of it was fresh, which therefore, makes it healthy as well! From my own experience, to further enhance the flavour and make the most of the starter (although it is already tasty enough) I suggest that you order the 'tarama' (taramasalata) and keep on the side, to be used for whenever you want to have it and then also, to be re-used as a dip; alongside the main course, later on. (If you politely ask, you should be allowed to do this.) Just for reference, my whole order included: the aforementioned taramasalata 'tarama' starter, followed by the 'adana' - lamb kofta main and lastly, the rice pudding for dessert. This was a great introduction to Turkish cuisine for myself and also, for my family! I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes to enjoy quality food, in a nice setting, for a cheap and/or affordable price! Thank you for taking the time to read this review and I hope that you give Cappadocia, in Diss, a visit!!!

What a fabulous first time experience we've just had at Cappadocia Restaurant!! The food was really wholesome, fulfilling, generous Turkish cuisine at its best. Staff went above and beyond too. We wish them all the best in this new venture and will certainly be coming back again. Thanks for a lovely night xx

We have recently been to Turkey and missed authentic Turkish quisine. Having recently visited Cappadocia which has recently opened for a birthday treat we could appreciate what we have been missing . The food was absolutely delicious very well seasoned and generous portions . The staff were very welcoming and so friendly . Most food cooked on an visible open enclosed Bbq . We ordered a sharing missed meat grill served with mixed salad, bulgur wheat, rice and flat bread . We couldn't completely finish the platter . Great value for money . We will now go again and again rather than our local pub .

Well, been wanting to go here for a while now and I tell you without hesitation it was well worth the wait! Authentic Turkish food cooked over open coals for all to see. 3 of us were dining tonight and we had the platter for 3 with the hot and cold mezze sharers, to say it would have fed 4 -5 people would be on the money! Luckily I'm a big eater and merrily polished off the mains and moved on to, what can only be described as a party for the mouth! Of course I'm talking about the Baklava, I was in heaven! If you've not been, why? Get yourself booked in and be ready for a culinary treat! Given 5 stars as not able to give more on TripAdvisor! Don't wait, do it now, I promise you'll thank me later.

Fantastic! Excellent food, huge quantities (don't recommend a starter if you go for the platter - feeds double the number). Super quality, friendly staff. Highly recommended. Only down side, there is limited parking and it's a little out of town, but well worth the effort.

We had the Fish Platter which is supposed to serve 2 - 3 but could easily have fed 4 people! The quality of the food is amazing, simply cooked but incredibly well done and flavourful. Everything from the fish to the bread and salad is done with care and attention to detail - and it's healthy too. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. All in all highly recommended.

Service and food was excellent and at a reasonable price. We all ate from the set menu, which was ideal for lunchtime. Cannot fault in any way. We will definitely be back.

We are in our seventies so we eat lightly. We ordered 5 veggie mezzes and they were all superb. Especially the Baba Ghanoush which is similar to hummus but made with smoky roasted aubergine and chunkier in texture. The staff are lovely and friendly and I had the opportunity to thank the male and female Turkish chefs in my stumbling Turkish. (I'm still very much a novice but trying hard to improve!) The baklava is also superb. Elinize saglik. This means "health to the hand that cooked the food". Wonderful. I highly recommend. The Turkish pronunciation is as follows:- Ellie knees ay sar luck.

A very discreet place serving wonderful home cooked cakes (it does other food but we were there for the cake). I'm not sure if everything was vegan but I think so. I'm not a vegan btw. Our host (Raf - sorry if I've got that wrong) was very friendly & welcoming.

Went out for coffee with my friends around wymondham and stumbled across the cutest bakery EVER! The atmosphere and staff were so lovely and welcoming and the coffee was absolutely incredible! We also heard the cinnamon buns were highly recommended so grabbed one of those which indeed lived up to our expectations! They had so many options and amazing sourdough bread available, perfect with soup for the warm weather! Will definitely be back!!
