This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Molly is the perfect host and makes sure that your every need is taken care of. The breakfast is amazing and it definitely sets you up for the day! The room is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and you feel right at home. It is a dog friendly place and they are made to feel as welcome as we are! There is even a bed (suitable for a small to medium dog), blanket, toys, treats and wipes etc...should you forget anything. Molly gave us some good recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. There is a local pub within walking distance (The Queen's Head). The menu has the pub favourites on it. Just bare in mind if your stay includes a Sunday, the kitchen closes at 4pm.

For business travel I like to try alternatives to Premier Inn especially when at £100+ a night... This was a b&b but highly rated..... Justifiably so, Molly was great with comms both prior to arriving and greeting me... Lots of attention to detail impossible to fault service/accomodation and for a solo business traveller I did not make most of setting and lovely outside sitting area capturing late afternoon/evening sun... Local pub 7 mins walk and good..... Marked 4 star for location as it is rather isolated for me staying on business patchy mobile signal....... If visiting area for a leisure break then not an issue issue... Could be seen as a positive, as church farm is a well located base...... Only other advice is insect repellant... I get bitten badly so I luckily have jungle formula on tap.. Good thing as lots of water locally

I’ve been coming here for over a year since I moved to this town. Absolutely incredible with the flavours, quality of meat and ingredients. You can tell real passion comes from them making food. Always willing to go that extra mile for you, and really reasonable price considering the portion sizes and quality. Family owned and run business and they are so friendly, all of the staff are fantastic. They have a fabulous pub too I am yet to try called the dove. By far the best Indian I have ever been to.

Great food. The baby blade rib was particularly good, as was the rest of the food. Beer kept very well and it was great value for money. Will I be back, oh yes

We were invited to a 40th birthday party in the Greyhound on the to save us from driving home late at night we booked a room there. On both counts we were pleasantly surprised. I was last in the Greyhound some 25 years ago, and the lay out was the same but wonderfully restored. I spent many evenings with good friends, back in the day, and it had lost none of its atmosphere. The buffet was lovely, the friends were all there, if just a little older! Our room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and quiet with lovely shower to blow away the cobwebs from the previous night! And there is a small patio out back overlooking the countryside, where you would be able sit and have a pint from the bar, I look forward to that next time. All told a lovely little country pub. We will be back.
