Always great food and service every time we visit this lovely cafe, have been a few times now with family and friends, one of our friends is in a wheelchair and they always make sure we have a table that her electric wheelchair can fit under and is comfortable for her, I have multiple food intolerances and nothing is too much trouble for them if I make changes to something on the menu which means there's always something that I can have, I would recommend this cafe to anyone, lovely cafe and staff and great food what's not to like

Came here after finding this place on Google Maps and was left very disappointed, first they told me to sit on a specific table because all the other tables were reserved. this is an issue because it's a cafe not a restaurant so reservations should not be a thing. Also the table was a tiny table with different seating to every other table making it very hard and uncomfortable, second there are no menus at tables making it very difficult to know what they actually served. i ended up getting a full English which was not the price it is on their website. on there it was priced at 7:25 but was actually 11:50 which is a bit of a rip off for what you got. They also had options on their online menu which they don't actually serve like bangers and mash for example. Third the food was pretty bad. Both the bacon and sausage were burnt and way too crispy. there was only 1 small sausage which was an absolute rip off. eggs were very good through. the beans were not actually served on the plate instead being in a pot which is a waste of beans if you ask me they also have no WIFI connection which is a big issue in 2024. The staff were very friendly i'll give them that at least. Will not be returning and am surprised this place is still running considering the scam prices

A rustic gem in a fab courtyard in Brooke! We popped in for brunch and it was amazing, a full English, with all you would want and all really high quality, the eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked with runny yolked, free range eggs . Perfect!

Wonderful hidden gem .. John is a great chef everything freshly cooled & beautifully presented. The staff are great too very helpful & friendly. I’ve been many time & can’t wait to go again.

The classic English countryside cafe - rare. Lovely cakes - and decent size portions. Friendly staff - I also bought some excellent meat from the butchers next door (had a pannier on the bike) - local stuff. Just so relaxed and welcoming. Would come again.

This lovely little place has really good food for very reasonable prices. Adele was lovely and helpful, and the chef made a great fish finger sandwich. I will definitely come back. ❤️

This little eatery is tucked away in Brooke. John &Tracey give everyone a warm welcome. Cozy atmosphere and the food is excellent A home cooked menu. We had a Christmas 🎄 lunch. It was perfect. Well done team. 🤶🤗

Coffee lovers - this is not for you! Milk burned, portafilters left full in the machine, machine not purged between uses, double shot pulled in around 5 seconds... a real shame.

Been going here for a while now and can never fault the food and service. The food is definitely restaurant standard, always presented well.. John takes pride in what he serves up to his customers and all the food is home cooked to a high standard. Will always be going back wether for breakfast or lunch 😊

What a fantastic find. Great food and friendly, accommodating staff. American pancakes were superb. Delicious with a couple of rashers of bacon and maple syrup. A proper pot of tea with extra hot water offered.

We’ve been here 3 times now and had lovely food each time. Yesterday was quite busy but we all had lovely hot food and staff served us quickly . 3 of us had cooked breakfasts with sausages from the butcher next door and a choice of eggs , and 1 of us had eggs Benedict ( which I’m going to have next time ) Tea is served in cups and saucers not mugs and you have a choice of tea. Staff are friendly and quick to serve us and the Chef who is the owner cooks the food to order . It’s delicious. Lovely place we will definitely go again. Worth booking a table although they do walk ins too we have done both .

Very friendly and the prices are good, we only had coffee but it was a welcome stop. They also fetched water and brought a treat out for our dog

Had a breakfast here 1 full English and a vegetarian breakfast, we had been here before and it was OK but the poched eggs tasted like vinegar and I know you use it when poaching but I could not taste anything but vinegar! So I asked to have them with less vinegar and I think he took an offence to this. The vegetarian breakfast was a joke the sausage was like what my dog had thrown up and it was stone cold, we asked for another and it was hot but I think it was microwaved. The mushroom was swimming, eggs still tasted like vinegar and the gluten free bread was very hard. I wouldn't recommend

Lovely dog friendly cafe. Had a delicious scone and sausage roll. Many tables reserved for lunchtime so a popular place even on a Monday. Other businesses on site also worth a look.

Great coffee and very tasty cheese scones

So pleased to have found this lovely, authentic, relaxed cafe in rural Norfolk. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the food was homely and delicious. An absolute gem. We will definitely be back.

We were visiting relatives in Brooke and they took us here twice, once for tea and cake and then for lunch. The venue is what looks like a converted barn with the yard shared with a number of other retail outlet. It has both inside ad outside tables. The yard had a large amount of parking. Our first trip was for tea and cakes. We had three lattes and an iced coffee. I added a piece of coconut and lime cake which was delicious. Our second trip was for lunch and the special board had a great selection worthy of a mainstream restaurant. We had a breakfast, jacket potato off the normal menu and a delicious salmon mousse and a chorizo & vegetables hash. All this cost £22.45 which was excellent value for money. On both occasions the service was really good with the staff very helpful. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit.

Tracey and John are the perfect hosts. To be honest, I have known them both for many years and when this opportunity to open their own venture arose, they have grasped it with both hands! Not far out of Norwich in a quiet location. Ample parking, with other business properties nearby. The menu is varied and includes favourites like cottage pie, Jacket potatoes, various sandwiches and salmon with new potatoes. Many really mouthwatering cakes and scones too, all made by John, an A class chef. A pal of mine said lets go out an have tea and cake, and it was lovely. Welcoming, not just because we know them, but Tracey will give anyone a very warm welcome. You can take cake home with you too, so if you're full up, just ask .Well worth a visit, I know we shall be going back..

Highly recommend this newly opened traditional English Cafe/ restaurant. Easy parking and high quality food cooked to perfection. The new owners have put a lot of thought and work into making this a big success and will be a valued part of the local community. Well done to John and Tracey who deserve every success.
